Wow! Just amazing..honestly Hidden Pines Chapel was not our first choice, we were suppose to get married in NC. But absolutely blessed that Covid had changed our plans and brought us to this Chapel. The detailing, the space, the people and the food were all exceptional! Fully accommodated is every step of the way and even had the chance to do our wedding outside as we had wanted since we had a smaller party attending our wedding can't stay enough good things about this beautiful place!!

This is a panoramic of the chapel (sorry for the low res)

If you are going to have a small wedding this is an amazing affordable option for you. The only issue I had was not getting everything in writing, so make sure you specifically get everything in writing so you can look back on it if there are any miscommunications. We were told we would have a rehearsal the Friday before the wedding (the wedding was on the following sunday). We were also told we could decorate after the rehearsal was over because no one was going to be in the room. On friday we called to confirm the time which was 7pm. They said they did not have a rehearsal scheduled for us and that we could not come to decorate because Firemen were having a meeting in there at the time. This was the first thing I wished I had in writing, because I know we had confirmed for that previously. After this we had to arrange for everyone to come in early on Sunday so we could still decorate and do a quick rehearsal. When we were going over the contract Royal who is their event planner said that we could stay until 8pm. When we got there suddenly it had changed to 7. He ended up later allowing us to stay until 7:30 because I think he realized he had messed a few things up for us with the rehearsal and all. We were also told by him that he had a bar tender for us and 2 servers. He ended up being the bar tender and we only ended up having one server. All and all it all worked out in the end. The decor was beautiful in the church. I was pretty relaxed for a bride so I didn't have a huge freakout or anything, but I am sure some people in the same situation would. If you are looking for a nice venue, with affordable accommodations where you have a lot of availability to provide your own things such as decor, music, food, alcohol ect. this is a good place for you. Just please do not make my mistake, whatever they offer you get it in writing! We are also pretty sure we paid the bar tender fee twice because during the contract signing we had paid for everything we agreed to, then once the wedding was wrapping up my husband was told he didn't pay the 150 bar tender fee. Side note, check their hours because it was hard to reach them over the phone when we needed something. We had to call multiple times to even schedule to make payment for our wedding.

It had all the charm you'd hope for (the vintage feel, the clawfoot tub, even the most creative little touches like the sink), while still being incredibly comfortable with modern amenities. You can tell a lot of care went into making it both beautiful and livable. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the setting. Waking up to open fields, wildflowers, and animals nearby, and then winding down under a sky full of stars--it felt peaceful in a way that's hard to find. It was the kind of place that gently pushes you out of your comfort zone in a safe and meaningful way, and those are the experiences that stick. There were also a few thoughtful touches and moments during our stay that made it feel even more special and memorable. It created some true core memories for my kids--those little unexpected experiences that you don't forget. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and took extra time to make sure we were comfortable. You can feel how much they care about the space, the animals, and the people who visit. This isn't a typical stay--it's something much more intentional. It feels like a place where the land and animals are genuinely cared for, and you're invited to be part of that, even if just for a short time. We will absolutely be back, and are already looking forward to trying some of the other spaces on the property next time.

The "inn" is really a 40 acre farm (bed and breakfast) with animals for kids to look at, various buildings to view, and a community fire pit. Ordinarily, there is a breakfast bar that was not functioning during the pandemic. The bucolic environment was very relaxing and we appreciated the time away from the hustle and bustle. There were some problems with our Airstream. The inside smelled musty and the sheets had some weird odor. We were there in October and it got cold at night but there was no heat so we froze during the night. There were no blankets. The "kitchen" was not very well equipped, lacking even a bottle opener. So, we enjoyed our time but it would have been better if the Airstream had been better maintained and equipped.

We wanted the…read morefuneral in Justin and the church next door could not accommodate us on the date we needed. So we walked over to The Country Abbey on a Sunday afternoon. The door was unlocked and we walked in and met Naomi. We talked to her for a moment and immediately booked the venue for the following Friday. This was our first funeral but not our first event to plan, and I have to say Naomi was quite possibly the most accommodating vendor with which I have had the pleasure to work. As an Interior Designer, I asked to rearrange some furniture and she made it happen. We asked for extension cords, items to help with the AV equipment, late meetings at the Abbey the night before to drop off cases of beverages and additional items we needed for the funeral service, and Naomi could not have been nicer. She never said "no". Who meets you at 10 p.m. to unlock the doors so your event the next morning will go smoothly? Naomi! Regarding the space, the "chapel" is just the right size - not too small and not so cavernous that it would look empty if the head-count was low. The backdrop is clean and uncluttered with no religious imagery or symbolism. The reception space was completely set up with the items we requested when we arrived 2 hours early for our event. Everything was clean and we lacked for nothing. Saying goodbye to our father was hard enough and we didn't need any more stress preparing for his funeral. There are dozens of things that have to be done that you might not think of, and Naomi made it virtually stress-free. Any time I need a venue in Justin, it will be The Country Abbey because it was such a positive experience.

Sarah (the coordinator) contacted me and worked with me to reschedule our wedding date for Oct/2020. It was such a stressful time for me but Sarah made it so much easier. Any time I had a question, concern or anxiety, I could always email, call or pop in for a visit to the Abbey and she always eased my fears. She offered so many ideas when I was unsure of how to do things and she and her team decorated the Abbey so beautifully for our wedding. I wanted a simple, clean and rustic look and she put it together perfectly! Our ceremony went off without a hitch because Sarah made sure everyone knew what they were supposed to do and say. I couldn't have pulled off this wedding without Sarah and her amazing abilities. She treated me like I was her only client even during the pandemic and when there were many other brides dealing with the same thing I was. Also the price for the venue was extremely reasonable and the cheapest I found anywhere! I highly recommend the country Abbey for your wedding, it was everything I had hoped for and more! Thank you Sarah!!!
