The City of Sherman has placed an indefinite water surcharge on the Preston Club HOA members who…read morereside in the Preston Club area. This area is off of state route 82 and Preston Club Drive. This was done in 2017 when the HOA conspired without consulting or putting to a vote to the HOA members to go from well water to city water. By the Preston Club HOA doing this, they conspired with the city officials to put an indefinite surcharge of about 20% on every residents' water billings. This was done, without a vote by the members and the 20% indefinite surcharge was not disclosed to the Preston HOA residents. Think about that! A 20% permanent surcharge on only the residents of the Preston Club HOA members. The people in other parts of the city, do not have to pay this, but only the Preston Club HOA community. The person behind this, is a shrill who keeps getting himself elected via his own votes to control the board. The board does not do anything, that this person does not want done, because he has a financial tie to the homes and to the DEFUNCT Preston Club Golf Course on 82. This golf course, went tits up, due to mismanagement and talks of embezzlement of funds. The Preston Club HOA has not rewritten the HOA rules even though the course has been out of business and is nothing but an EPA hazard now, as the sewage pond on the grounds overflows and the stench is horrible. Not to mention, the homes that border this used, yes used open sewage pond, as to save monies, the golf course personnel, bought a used pond from a seawater state, that was selling this gear, because it was eaten up by seawater, and should of had been trashed, but no, the Preston Club HOA members who had a fiscal interest with the golf course, was trying to save monies, and bought this crab. Now the pond has exceeded its capability, and the sewage spills out, and flows into the creeks gutting through Preston Club Drive and the grounds around the sewage pond, grow nothing there, other than rattle snakes, and water moccasins. The sewage over flow consists of body waste and when you walk in this area, you sink into the crap, literally, crap. The homes in the area, are being investigated by the Federal EPA and FEMA. However, the city EPA personnel in this city, are on the city payrolls, and there is no way, someone is going to identify this environmental hazard, as the city of Sherman is rezoning the area for residential homes, to fill up about 500 acres of land. Now the person who sits on the HOA in a permanent role, has approximately a few dozen lots that will be sold during the build of the area rezoned residential, so he is neck deep in the fiscal issues surrounding the defunct golf course, and its EPA violated sewage ponds. The city knows that this sewage pond has max'd out its capability and is aware of its negative environmental impact, but is not going to do anything. However, if the city of Sherman followed the EPA, it would replace these sewage ponds and pipes. However, the only people who would be responsible for paying for this, by agreement between the Preston Club HOA and ignorant city officials, would be the Preston Club HOA residents, as, the surcharge, indefinite, is to pay for repairs to the lines, both water and sewage and all that entails. We are talking millions of dollars. Then to try and squeeze in 500 acres more of homes, we are talking a environmental. impact that would rival Valdez, but instead of oil, it would be peoples waste products. All of this could of had been prevented if financial disclosures would be required of the Preston Club HOA members. That would of had disqualified the idiot who. inserts his hand into the anuses of the other members and speaks through them. We are talking RICO here
