Different Cheesesteak #1228. The Surf and Turf Cheesesteak - make it your own. I went on a Saturday night at dinner time. The young women manager should be celebrated and taught in schools. She chatted with customers, directed staff, and when the bar got a little backed up, she jumped in to pour drinks and take orders. It was refreshing to see her take pride in her work. I got a cheesesteak with a side crab cake. The sum was greater than the parts. The Cheesesteak was average. My Crab cake was a touch dry. Together, they were spectacular!! The cheesesteak meat and onions were finely chopped. This made them a nice complement to the crab. The cheesesteak had a sneaky good amount of cheese. It was enough to loosen up the crab cake. The Hilltop Surf and Turf Cheesesteak House!! It could be big!!

This place is still great! Easy to find and right off of route 41. It has a very cozy old school feeling. Nice sized bar and menu. We come here for the seafood, especially the all you can eat crab legs. The food is always good and fresh. The service is friendly and quick. They automatically add gratuity to the bill, which is nice when the service is great.

Called to order a couple dozen blue crabs to go. Was told #1 males were $48 per dozen. Said cool, give me 2 dozen with extra seasoning. This is what I got. Clearly not #1s. Hard crabs must be 5 inches point to point to be considered legal catches. These were not.

It was good till it wasn't... the crab legs were amazing. Loveeed them. Only problem I had was the price. I called beforehand they told me it was $60 per person for all you can eat. So all together they said it would b $120 plus tax. After I get the receipt it's $158.63 because of the gratuity fee.. I paid that and left. I woke up this morning to see my card was negative $32 and a notification on my phone said that the price for Hilltop changed because of a tip? N I remember putting $0 on the tip cs I paid $25 tip I didn't know I already had to pay. Crabs were good but they scammed me just as good.

Overpriced. Food is only OK. Service is good, however the place is noisy, due to live music, so forget having a conversation

Ask the Community - Hilltop Crab House

I am wondering if it's been cleaned up any? Saw a lot of issues with the place being dirty and divey in 2017 and not so many in 2018 ...looking for a good all-you-can-eat Crab House to take my dad for his birthday this yr.

I never thought it was dirty. The wait staff are great. The food is good. It is a bar/ restaurant. I have never had an issue. Hope this helps.

My now-husband was hesitant to spend the money for a wedding planner in the beginning, but he very quickly realized the stress relief she provided was more than worth the investment. Amy met with us early in the process to tour the venue we had already selected, get to know us, and start to design our day. Since we didn't have a set vision, she put together two mood boards to gather our feedback which she used to put together our design board. She then guided us toward the perfect vendor team to bring that board to life and helped us to review all of our vendor contracts. From there, she was involved in most, if not all, of our vendor meetings, asking questions we would have never thought to ask and keeping track of all of our details for us. She sent us a monthly to-do list to help us prioritize our tasks and even reminded us when our payments were due. She made herself readily available by text and email throughout the planning process and answered even the smallest of questions with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm. She even helped us choose items for gift bags for our hotel guests, which she then assembled and dropped at the hotel for us. On our wedding day itself, she coordinated our vendors, ensured all decor items were set up as we intended, and made sure my husband, VIP family members, and I had everything we needed. In summary, Amy is incredibly detailed and thorough as well as sweet, enthusiastic, and caring, which makes her an absolute dream to work with, and we are so glad that we did!

Things are a little pricey for me, but everything was pretty good. The poke bowl was very fresh and had a variety of veggies to complement the tuna. The shrimp tacos had great flavor, but really needed lettuce or slaw! The kids meal was a good portion, but was loaded with garlic. A few things we didn't love but overall, good experience.

I ordered the Cajun Pasta It was described as this:…read more"Grilled chicken, shrimp and Andouille sausage, penne, Parmesan cream sauce, shallots, garlic, white wine, Cajun spices, Calabrian peppers" The cream sauce was a curdled paste. It was less a sauce and more of a discolored lumpy paste. The dish./meal was cold in some spots and hot in other spots - the shrimp was rubbery - so it was obviously microwaved. It was not made fresh. It was absolutely disgusting. Over all, it felt like an insult - uneatable and unpresentable. Whomever cooked it should be ashamed to allow such a dish to go out into the dining room. It was completely unacceptable. I had been to this restaurant a few times before as my wife likes it. My only other problems were that they occasionally served cold french fries. I am done with this place. I had originally heard that the people who opened it were part of a group that had successful restaurants and cared about serving good food. It is not that now. Until I hear otherwise, I will never return... not even if it were free. The waitress said she'd get the manager - but the manager never showed. I did not have to pay for the Cajun Pasta...
