I was told by several plumbers the most it should of been was $3,000 at the very most. Then we had to chase him to get our water working properly again and he charged us another $1,200. Shame on us for allowing him to ripe us off. He clearly does not care about his customers.

The error code again showed 2 days later when I went into the basement and found the system off sometime at night. I immediately called the company on 7/24, 7/25 and 7/26, and was repeatedly told someone would call back. No one called. On 8/2/2024 I called again and was once again told someone would call. The office called back a week later and scheduled an appointment on 8/14/2024. The same service man came and replace oxygen sensors, was charged $530.00 and was told the unit was fixed. The unit shut off within a day, showing the same code. I attempted to contact the company several more times, again no call back until 9/1. The service man called back and told me how to clean the unit to try and fix it. I followed his instructions completely but that also didn't work. I have contacted this company numerous times and was told the service man would call. He NEVER has! I know this unscrupulous contractor is claiming that my unit was 14 years old which it is NOT. He is a liar and a sham!!! I also recently found out that the service man is the owner and the lady answering the phone might be his wife.

He had to order the part via the OEM for this older gas furnace but returned when promised and replaced it quickly. Also pointed out that I had a little critter that enjoyed stealing our sunflower seeds and making a home in the control panel. He cleaned that out and inspected for damage. He pointed out issue that should be addressed in the near future but his price was as promised. Very polite and business like, I would recommend him based on my experience with him.

Getting water running again was our priority but he suggested starting on the leaks. Not long after beginning, Bub's father told me they couldn't attach their fitting to the well line because water was coming through; realizing my well line is gravity-fed after beginning. I had to pull the well line above the water level myself before they could install a shut-off valve. My well cover is about 300lbs and the line is 8ft down. I'm not sure what their plan would've been if I was not there. After saying the water was flowing again, they later told me my pump was done for and not to run it. They quoted $925 for a new pump, not including labor. With two hours of labor, the bill also came to $925 and my family was no closer to having running water. The materials installed were six feet of copper pipe, several compression fittings, a shut off valve, and a pipe hanger. I called another plumber afterward, who knew right away (just from a phone call) that my pump was fine. He had it running smoothly in minutes by clearing a port of sediment and then adjusting the pressure switch. Bub talked a lot about his experience and showed up with help but needed me to find a way to stop the water in order to address the first leak and then either missed or ignored the step that would've gotten my pump working. Their website claims they're transparent and budget-friendly, but I wasn't told his extreme rate upfront, the bill wasn't itemized (still waiting 9 days after he confirmed he would), and I nearly paid for an unnecessary pump replacement. Leaving 2 stars because the copper work itself was solid, but charging $250 per hour for six feet of easily accessible pipe work feels unreasonable. Being given the wrong diagnosis on the pump was unacceptable and raises concerns about their expertise or honesty.

They upsold me to service my heater while I was there, which I agreed to and they left. Charged me $400 and was there less than 2 hours total. Didn't even change the filter in my furnace, even though I had a stack of them. After they left, I continued to have the same exact issue with my water softener except now it was incessantly beeping. I called them and they said the beeping was because they caused it to, and told me to just hit the "regen" button, which only temporarily stopped the beeping. They essentially shrugged and said there wasn't much they could do, because they didn't have the "other manual" (no idea), and that the system either needed to be emptied out and cleaned (which, I feel is something that should have been troubleshooted the first time) or replaced. I feel like they didn't know how anything about this system, but instead of admitting it and allowing me to call someone else, they messed with it, made it worse and charged me.
