For the record, I'm not getting any compensation or kickback from AJ Leblanc in writing this review nor will I benefit in any way.
From the start of the sales process, product options, price negotiation, and system install and delivery, A.J LeBlanc has their act together. My AC went out at the end of last year and I had a furnace, although in working order, it was 25+ years old. It was more practical to replace both the AC and upgrade the furnace at the same time to save on energy efficiency and labor costs. I had multiple vendors come out to give quotes and I went with AJ Leblanc for a few reasons:
1. No pushy or skectchy sales tactics. Joe(salesman) at AJ was a straight shooter, listened to what I wanted, asked more questions to confirm exactly what I wanted, provided technical and HVAC knowledge so I could understand, and gave me a range of product options I could choose from. Also, I had a brand in mind (Amana) that I wanted to have installed because of my previous experience with the brand and warranty. In no way, did Joe try to steer me to another brand.
2. Family run company and supporting local companies. In this day and age, it's harder to find mom and pop companies who continue to value customer service as a top priority. Knowing that this company is a family run company, 4th generation I think, and that everyone I came in contact with (salesman, appointment confirmer, follow up reminder lady, installers, etc) all seemed genuine and courteous.
3. Consistency/Accountability- When Joe (salesman) said he was going to get me a quote within a couple days, he did, when he said he would check on any NH energy rebates, he did, when he said he would check on any discounts/special offers, he did, and when we agreed on a package price, he said he would drive down to my house the next day and we could square up the paperwork, HE DID. Being in sales myself for the last 20 years, important principles I follow are "be accountable for your own actions and don't overpromise and under deliver". I feel that AJ delivered on everything that was promised and followed through with every action on his part.
4. Installation/Timing- Installers Chris and Zack came out, were professional, neat, and quick. They showed up at 8:00am two days in a row to complete the job, left for their lunch break but were back within an hour, to continue. Chris kept me informed on what they were doing and what was coming next. At the end of the job, they cleaned up after themselves.
5. Quality Control? This was afterthought and something I didn't expect. AJ Leblanc called me after the installation and said they would send another representative to "audit" the work of their installers. Really? Auditor Matt came by, checked the system, asked a whole bunch of questions to make sure installers covered everything, gave the work his approval, and then left.
I strongly recommend A.J. LeBlanc for AC/Furnance work. I'm very satisfied with the service they provide. read more
