Tres leches relleno de piña
Dolly R.

I have ordered cakes for birthdays and they are cute and delicious. The bread is also delicious. The piggy bread is one of my favorite here because anywhere else the molasses flavor is not there but here it is absolutely perfect. I will continue to order here! These are some of the cakes my family and I have enjoyed. They have all been 3 leches.

My favorite pink bread and conchas

I love with this bakery. Always has fresh bread baked in the mornings. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very warm and cozy while purchasing some delicious sweet bread. I love this pink bread so much that they sold me a full sheet of it that I used for my daughter's birthday as a cake instead of cupcakes.

Que rico el pan dulce I love this place! I would honestly give it 4.5 stars but because the customer service was so good I gave it a 5. What I didn't care for too much was the Bolio and donuts. I like my Bolio dense with a pinch of sweetness, this one is more airy and not sweet at all. The donuts were ok but they didn't give you that melt in your mouth texture. The shop was warm and inviting. There's no seating and it's neighborhood parking.

I finished that concha in 2 seconds. really good.

THIS IS THE PLACE, THIS IS WHERE YOULL FIND THE PERFECT CONCHAS!!!! I've been craving some pan dulce (conchas, to be specific) and the ones i had before were just good... until I found this place I feel like i've found my forever bakery Went with my wife and a friend and we got a box with conchas, empanadas de cajeta y bolillos. We were all very happy and my wife made me a delicious torta with el bolillo. The place is cash only so keep that in mind when you go! Service was really good and the baker told us he might have pan de muerto by october 15th so we're looking forward!!!!

CONCHAS!

Stopped by this little gem of a place on Christmas Eve and miraculously found some delicious pan dulce still available! Grabbed a box worth of conchas and other pastries for about $13. Cash only!!!

Cuernos

I love a good Mexican Bakery and this one sure hit the spot when I had one of those cravings. When I came in, I could not make up my mind because they had so much to choose from and it all looked so very good. At the end, I ended up choosing a couple of Cuernos because I wanted something buttery. They were only .60 cents a piece, so I picked one up for a homeless guy outside and myself. The cuerno or Mexican croissant was very moist inside and had a delicate buttery exterior. It was not as flaky as a French croissant, but it was moister and softer. I liked that it was a little airy and with a mild buttery flavor. At .60 a pop, these are a great and delicious. They also carry a variety of sweet breads, including: Besos (kisses), Campechanas, Conchas (shells), Empanada (turnovers), Marranitos/Cochinitos/Puerquitos (little pigs), Molletes (cheeks), Orejas (ears), and one of my favorites, Elotitos or corn ears. The lady who served me was very nice and made me laugh. They are very nice peope who work here. The place is small, but they sure manage to keep a lot of sweet breads on hand.

Desserts: 5/5 We got a blood orange scone and a strawberry danish. The scone was warm and delicious. The orange essence was well infused. The danish was crispy and creamy. The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. This was not our first time visiting Extraordinary Desserts, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Sadly, every time we come back, the service seems to get worse. The waiter's attitude and level of attention were unacceptable, and the overall customer service was simply not there. For a place that is supposed to be about enjoying beautiful desserts and having a nice experience, the quality of the service completely ruined our visit. Service, attention, and hospitality were all a zero.

I got the earl gray lavender cupcake and black sesame matcha Hojicha drink and lychee hibiscus tea drink. The cupcake was moist, not too sweet, had some grittiness to it from the seeds. We ordered a bunch of desserts to share at work so I got to sample a good selection. Pricing is in line with other fancy dessert places. Presentation is beautiful. Some items were to my taste, others not so much. Creme brulee cheesecake - The brulee is very slight, not enough to form a sugar top or anything. More just like a good slice of cheesecake. Cookie - This was my favorite, strong vanilla flavor from the icing, a pretty densely baked cookie. Very large, worth the $4.50 in my opinion. Carrot cake tres leches - Not for me, the cinnamon was overpowering and I would've liked to taste more of the other spices. Pandan cake - The texture is slightly different, almost bouncy like some tapioca or rice flour was used. The pandan flavor is very present; I enjoyed it, reminiscent of some Southeast Asian desserts. A bit on the sweet side. Mango cupcake - Very delicate whipped frosting, overall good but nothing standout to me Passion fruit tart - Very good. Can be a bit sweet for some, I think some of my coworkers didn't enjoy the gritty sugar in the center filling, but I thought the flavor was excellent. Coconut cake - Also not very popular among my coworkers; for me it was a little sweet but also a little one note. Not my favorite. Hojicha cheesecake - Good! Strong tea flavor which balances out the sweetness, and possibly the most unique flavor out of all the desserts. If I were to return here for something, it would be for this. Pavlova - The eggy smell is too strong. Least popular item among my coworkers. The custard inside is decent and the dessert itself is beautiful, more of an instagram dessert.

It's a small little place with a few tables outside its doors - still within the store. We came on a random weekday afternoon and it looked like most things were in stock. There were still quite a few people who were in and out. I brought home some pastries and my whole family loved everything! They said everything wasn't so sweet, which is a very good thing for when coming from Asian adults. I concur, the pastries weren't too sweet and the fillings/cremes were generous. I love pastries with filling and all of the ones I got did. I really enjoyed my selection. My favorite from most to least was: crème brûlée, pistachio, mango, almond, and fig. They were very close in ranking though. None of them were disappointing! Only thing was it was a bit pricey, but what isn't anymore... I would highly recommend.

The staff upfront and on the floor were incredibly warm, welcoming, and happy to chat while you browse. As you head toward the back, the space opens up into a dream of a café. One of the cutest touches is being able to actually watch the bakers rolling out fresh dough and crafting pastries right before your eyes. The smell of rich espresso and buttery pastry crust filling the air is irresistible. I grabbed a coffee and a fresh pastry, waited a short bit for a table on the patio, and pulled out my journal. Listening to the ambient music and ocean breeze in the courtyard while writing was pure heaven.
