If you are into Mexican style of baked goods, Panchitas Bakery is a place for you. Everything feels like if you are in Mexico and most of the baked goods are light and not as sweet or creamy like what you are accustomed to. Their prices are also reasonable. Friendly staff.

A local go-to! Try going in the morning, they'll have a fuller case than later in the day. Perfect pan dulce for your morning coffee! Only real complaint is parking, but sometimes you'll get lucky!

Came across this bakery in a small parking lot near Chicano Park. You grab a tray and tongs by the register and choose what you want from the display case. Pros: -lots of options. They were still bringing out items around 10am on a Monday. -reasonably priced. My two items came to $3.30 including the credit fee. Cons: -homeless are in the area. They had to ask one guy to leave when he entered their store Other: -$0.50 charge for credit

The Pan Dulce ( Mexican Bread) Has a really good flavor like the authentic Mexican BreadAlways the person behind the counter. They always act SUPER RUDE!. Even if People says hi. No greeting, no smile.. (nothing). Don't even answer question in regards to the bread Cashiers never wanted to answer questions or a smile And for that reason I'm giving only 1-

I'm just going to be completely blunt. I never leave reviews unless a place is really good or really bad. Unfortunately I shouldn't have set my alarm for 5 to show up at 5:30 and expect the freshest food. I should have slept in. I show up and first off, the selection is very small, not much to get. But that's not even why the low rating. Honestly I got 4 different items and they're all terrible. Hard, definitely old, I tried an initial bite when I got in the car and genuinely was choking trying to swallow because of how dry it was. Every item was not only dry but it taste like nothing, there's no flavor. I regret waking up to come here. Do not recommend in the slightest. They also packaged a cake I got where when I opened it, all the icing was pulled off cause they put it on the bottom. Other items are hard as a brick. For 7$ not even close to worth. I'll be throwing this stuff away Sad because I saw all the positive reviews but everyone, I swear, the food was so bad hard and tasteless I'm surprised she let me walk out paying for that

Great selection. Good prices! Take a tray and load up yourself. Then when you pay they will box or bag for you!

My favorite is the Guatemala blend -- definitely give it a try! Whenever they happen to be out of the Guatemala beans, the staff is always so kind and helpful about recommending other beans they like, which I really appreciate. Today I tried their iced latte with oat milk, and it was so smooth and delicious! The barista working the drive-thru was also incredibly kind, and I was impressed by how quickly I received my order. Parking can be a little difficult, so I usually find it easier to use the drive-thru, which is super convenient. Overall, the staff is always friendly, the coffee is good, and the fresh-roasted beans are absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommend!

You ring the doorbell, wait patiently, and once you're inside, you realize this isn't your typical coffee shop. It's a place to slow down, enjoy the music, and savor your drink. Monique and Danica were both amazing. They're warm, welcoming, and you can really see the passion behind what they do. Danica is also the DJ, and her eclectic playlist made the whole experience even better. One of my favorite parts was just sitting there watching our drinks being made. You can see the care and craft that goes into every cup...even the Kuramoto ice is beautiful. The Matcha Americano completely changed my perception of matcha. The Kyoto cold brew pour-over was fascinating to watch and incredibly smooth. We loved it so much that we came back the very next day. This time I had the Midori, and my brother-in-law loved the Highball, especially the yuzu. No laptops. Trust the DJ. Drinks are meant to be enjoyed fresh, so take your time. If you're looking for a quick coffee run, this isn't it. But if you appreciate great coffee, good music, and people who are passionate about their craft, Long Play Hi-Fi is absolutely worth the visit.

The menu featured various matcha tea drinks which seems to be all the rage right now. The same seating arrangement of the bar countertop and tables across from it was available if you wanted to hang out and chill. A sign behind the bar described the ceremonial grade matcha that was used with the region of origin and the flavors imparted to the powder. Five different matcha drinks were offered along with hot and cold coffees and lattes. The top three matcha choices were priced at $8 each. I chose the Ordinary Pleasure which was the first one. Pandan sticky rice milk and mango puree were added to the matcha and topped with a salted coconut foam. I wasn't a fan of the foam, but the matcha flavor was intense and contrasted by the fruity puree on the bottom of the cup. The baristas were very focused with measuring the exact amounts for each ingredient in the drinks they were preparing. The matcha quality seemed to be very good based on what I tasted so maybe it's why the price was $1 higher than what I have tried elsewhere.

I honestly expected this drink to be very gimmicky and too sweet but was surprised when it seemed to strike the perfect balance. I could taste both the matcha AND the mango puree AND the salted coconut foam without one overpowering the other! What delicious witchcraft is this? The mango was subtle but there. The drink was creamy and thick. Such a refreshing summer drink! The cafe itself is super cute and quaint with a trendy, boho chic vibe. Baristas were super friendly. I would come back again!

I ended up coming back every morning to start my day off with a cup. On our last night, we decided we wanted a smoothie so we stopped in and got a mango one. They have other options but we were in the mood for mango. They use real fruit here and you can definitely taste the difference from places that use powder. So fresh and tasty. The drink exhibited every core to the classic Thai dessert and there was really little room for improvement other than the ratio of rice to coconut blend could be evened out. However, sipping the cocosmoothie with bits of rice made up my mind as I can confidently say this is #1. If you're looking for something different and tired of the conventional smoothie or milk tea, come experience this. Give some patience as orders are made fresh from this small hole in the wall.
