The place is on the corner, but you turn in you get to the traffic light. There is probably an entrance from the side street, but I didn't see for sure. The parking is a bit confusing, but there are several spots next to the building. Just be cautious as the drive through part is also in the same parking area. The servers were very friendly and helpful. They made excellent suggestions when ordering, and were courteous and efficient when serving. I ordered the sampler plate with bbq beans and potato salad. The pork was excellent with nice smoke flavor. moist and very tender. The ribs were fall off the bone good. The brisket was perfectly cooked, noisy and flavorful. There was a large piece of Texas toast completely covered by the meat. The bbq beans had noticeable bits of pork included, along with a definite bbq flavor. The potato salad was good, but the other two parts of the meal really stood out. The portions were large. With so many bbq places around, this one should definitely be on your short list. read more

This teeny unassuming Mom-n-Pop has been on our bucket list for a year. The loaded baked potatoe sign was the promt to make today the day we finally stopped in. The service was friendly despite being very busy. I ordered a killer BBQ rib baked potatoe. Yum. The ribs were generously piled on and so tender and juicy. Potatoe was well cooked and complements the BBQ well. I ordered a little banana pudding for dessert. It was fresh, and homemade. I didn't actually like the hint of lemon twist it had but my husband loved it. Cons: small dining area, no bathroom and very little parking. We will be placing Hwy 58 BBQ high on our list of favorites. read more

I have had their rib sandwich, chili bun and pulled pork BBQ plate. All were delicious. Cole slaw, beans and banana pudding are also tasty. The sweet tea is too sweet for my taste but food and service are great. read more

I'm giving them a 5 star rating based on historical visits, not necessarily last couple. I believe with the situation of staffing most places are dealing with would be unfair to give a bad rating. The food there is really good! They do have a sign up asking customers to be patient during this time. It is always obvious they have ongoing training and hiring. I will say the last couple of times we have had some of our special request not honored and packaging up the food not being as careful as in the past. They are always working hard and quickly and friendly. Food is always good. Based on last couple of visits probably would've been a 3.5 to 4 but over all I believe a 5 is warranted. Edit....... Just after doing this review I called and placed an order(killer potato everything on the side) girl that took order repeated it back correctly. I go to pick up and the meat is on the potato....... No biggie, things happen. The issue is I explained to the lady how I had ordered and she behaved as if I ordered incorrectly, I said to her I was very specific and the girl that took my order repeated it back seemingly understood, but again the lady baggie my order repeated that it was no problem.... Indicating she was taking care of an issue on my end. Maybe I'm being petty but I would've just said "oh my bad let me take care of quick" read more

This place is great. The people there are even better. They offer the usuals on a BBQ menu. Pulled pork is very good. ST. Louis style ribs are moist and meaty. Sides are fresh and tasty. Huge stuffed potatoes too. Just follow the smell of the smoke. You won't be disappointed. read more

I seemed to have gotten food poisoning on vacation while eating here. We ordered pork and beef on Monday and when we received it, it was dried out and seemed old. The restaurant is closed on Sundays so I am guessing this was leftover from Saturday and stored improperly. Man oh man. Great food! Amazing food! I got the rib sandwich and fried okra. Finger licking good but they have a black mold problem. I truly don't post bad reviews but this is a huge problem in the safety of their employees and customers. I live and breathe good food and Highway 58 BBQ has it! But, where is the TN Dept. of Health? He loves to stop by and bring home dinner...sometimes he buys by the pound, then there are those times he throws in a side like those yummy potato logs. His most recent find was the newly advertised super size BBQ potato! Wow is all I can say! It was dinner, lunch and leftovers for another day. They get 5 for consistency. Been coming here for about 6 months now. Must have are the lemonade. Just get a large. Don't disappoint yourself. The smoked bologna actually have a smoked flavored to it. May not look like much from the outside but sometimes that just means what they're doing on the inside is worth it. From the road this looks like a unnoticeable BBQ shack except for the sign. Then...after you park in the Ace Hardware lot, walk in and notice this is not a dump! Nice place with a few outside eating tables. Open the door to the order window and chairs to sit while waiting for your order. First time we ordered the family meal. Oh my...wonderful freshly made food! This place has earned a rank higher than Uncle Gus BBQ! Slaw was fresh and cold, baked beans were great, but the BBQ pork was the star on the plate! My husband liked that it was chopped not just pulled. My last visit I got only the pork for making Brunswick stew at home. We are meat smokers also but didn't have the time at home to do a pork butt.
