They did not want the payment but instead the employee sought to file claim on our insurance company for over $1M. Our insurance company stated the company/employees has made several claims in the past which is suspicious.

A few details about the path, 24"×24" concrete pavers surrounded by small river pebbles. I've had issues in the past with the pebbles erroding during rainy days so I "dry poured" a thin layer of concrete so the pebbles would stay in place. You'll notice the damage they caused in the attached photos. Their mower also compacted some pavers and left deep tire skid marks. The owner came out to attempt a fix but later stated in an email that he can't do anything about the concrete because he said that the concrete was of "poor quality". Well, I guess thats my fault for there mower getting stuck, right? In other photos below you'll notice some areas of the path were completely ignored for several weeks. Apparently, you literally have to ask them to weed eat everything because the pick and choose what areas they want to weed eat. Sounds reasonable, right? At the beginning of this summer, while shopping for lawn services, Troops was definitely the most expensive. But I though maybe with the extra cost would come with more quality. I chose Troops specifically because I wanted to support veteran owned companies, even though it was most expensive. Then a few weeks later I got a message from them saying there would be a price increase. I decided to stick with them regardless. And now yesterday, I get another message with yet another price increase. This along with poor quality and property damages makes me want to write this and hope others will read this so they don't make the same mistake in hiring this company like I did.

They several times showed up without warning or not enough warning, and a few times went in my backyard without permission. Thankfully, my dogs were not outside at those times. 3. THEY SHOWED UP AT 9:30pm ON A FRIDAY NIGHT WITHOUT WARNING AND WENT INTO MY BACKYARD. Here's the thing - the owner Karen, didn't seem to care or think it was a big deal. At first, the carpet actually looked clean, but after about 48 hours, the stains came back worse than before. They were originally smaller and less noticeable, but whatever he used ended up spreading them, making them larger and more visible. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed the issue on the carpet padding, saying it was "wicking" and that I would need to replace the padding and have it cleaned again for an additional $140. That was never mentioned beforehand. I refused to pay anything extra or let him continue working. Look at the photos--they clearly show the padding was not the issue. When I asked for a refund to help cover the cost of replacing the carpet, he refused. He only offered to come back and clean again for free, but after seeing the damage, I was not comfortable letting him return. Based on my experience and what I've heard from others, this does not seem like an isolated issue. I would not recommend this person, as it appears this has happened to multiple customers.
