Be very aware of this company!!! We told them from the beginning that they needed to obtain authorization to enter our backyard for us to lock our 21lb dog inside. One of the workers did not get authorization to enter the backyard and our dog bit him. He had to get sutures. Even though they did not get authorization, we did still offer to pay for hospital bill (~$900) and a week off of work. They did not want the payment but instead the employee sought to file claim on our insurance company for over $1M. Our insurance company stated the company/employees has made several claims in the past which is suspicious. read more

Service is excellent, the cleanings that they do are professional, the techs they send out are excellent. Don't get in a disagreement over finances though, or the manager will threaten you with lawyers. Told me they don't offer a one-time service, that's fine offered to pay extra for one-time service. Manager told me it would be $90, I said that was unreasonable considering my entire service was only $50, and they normally charge $13 a week for picking up poop. It also says very clearly on their website that you can cancel it , no commitment, no contract I try not to take advantage of businesses but when you give a free service and tell people they can cancel it anytime, several people are going to take advantage I still paid $50 for additional services and offered to pay $30 or $40 more for a one-time fee. On their first free visit the tech stayed less than 2 minutes for our decent sized yard, and we found a lot of poop after. We wrote it off as getting what you pay for for the first free visit. Second paid visit it happened again, exactly two minutes. (We have backyard cameras that can see exactly what they did and how long they stayed). We found so many missed poops and when we checked our trash bins there was nothing in there. We called and cancelled. The tech did come back after we cancelled and spent 10 mins this time and actually found most of the poop. It's a bummer this wasn't done the first time or they'd happily get our $18 a week. The manager Rocco was very apologetic when we called to cancel, and said he wouldn't charge for the follow up visit, even though we offered to pay since the tech actually did the job on the follow up. Hopefully this will be a training opportunity and their service will improve, but for us we can't take that risk after two bad appointments in a row and not much care in impressing new customers. read more

I have had Poop911 for almost a month now. When I went to sign up I called and left a message and got a call back right away. But I went ahead and submitted it online. The service was okay when the scooper came out. I have called 4 times to get the day changed. I have not received a call, text, email at all to any voicemail that I've left. I even told them I would cancel if I didn't get a call back. Well today I'm canceling and hopefully they'll call back to help with my request. I backed this company for way too long. That forced one star is for the people who actually came out and did the work. They were great. The company's customer service was absolutely the worst service I have ever received in my life, though. I understand that it is the bane of these companies' existences to have to deal with lawn guys as well. It was a constant struggle. I let go several people I had working on my lawn because I was backing POOP 911. Come to find out, the company is entirely capable of texting when they are on their way. That was never offered to me until I told them that I wanted to let them know I was training an aggressive dog in my yard so if I could get a heads up that would be great. The WORST of it all, though, is that the person running this branch, Rocco, never answers the phone, never returns voicemails, and his voicemail inbox is usually entirely full so you can't leave voicemails anyway. I texted him and never heard back on a number I only had because I'd originally sent my lock combo there. I ended up calling another branch in Arizona just to see if they could give me a number that I could reach. They answered within two rings. Super nice. Super efficient. When a week was skipped I was given no notification, which set me back half a yard's cost of mowing. I don't even know if they canceled my account because no one responds. Super unprofessional. I backed them time and time again but peace out. Stay away if you care at all about basic communication skills. read more

Have had this service for a few years now. I've never felt like they've done an amazing job, but I have a decent size backyard and the dogs don't seem to want to use just one part of it to do their business, so I know it can be easy to miss (even when I was doing it myself). That I'm willing to deal with, and accept most of the time. The two things I won't accept are not showing, yet still being charged (it's been over 2 weeks since my "weekly" service has come), and not putting the poop in the trash I have like the instructions say. Both of these things have happened multiple times, which is why I'm now cancelling this service and moving to a different company. I have cameras in both the front and back, and both show no one has come by but I am still charged. When I contacted them about the no shows before, I had just gotten the cameras and wasn't sure how often this happens. I can now say with certainty, it happens quite often. Don't get me wrong, sometimes they come by a day or two later and make up for it, but that hasn't happened the past two weeks. Normally it's a week here or there, and laziness has caused me not to cancel in the past, but now I've had enough. As for not following instructions, I have a trash can in the backyard that the technicians have to walk by as they leave the yard. Most of the time, the waste is thrown away there and everything is good. But about once a month or so, sometimes more, for some reason they are put on the driveway, behind a pillar. What's really bad about this, especially since Covid-19 and not leaving the house as often, is that the bags will sometimes stay until we go to empty the trash and suddenly see it's empty. Then we check the front and find the bag there. More than once, there has been a storm and the bag has been ripped open by wild animals, causing feces to be washed all over the driveway. Rocco finally fixed it and gave me credit for all of the weeks I was double charged. My backyard has two separate areas. I decided to try the service and set them to come once a week to pick up dog poop in a very small yard. In a matter of a little over a month they came a total of two times. One of the times they had sent an email stating they would be there on a different day and When that day came they sent another email stating they couldn't make it. I called the next day to see why they didn't come and they claimed two employees left the company and they were behind. Absolutely understandable, I could accommodate...just wish they had let me know ahead of time. They rescheduled for a couple days later and still did not show up. That's two appointments with no shows and no explanation for just the initial cleaning which hasn't been done yet. I have yet to hear back from them and there's no way to cancel the service online. They don't respond to emails, don't return calls (you can never get an actual person on the phone it always goes to a corporate voicemail). Yesterday was final straw... the tech literally left a bag full of poop in the middle of my driveway. Called and emailed about the issue with no response. I then reached out to Poo Patrol after reading their stellar reviews and received a response immediately and am all set up for twice weekly service (at a cost of $5 less per service btw) starting this week. And it's been over a MONTH since I asked for the refund. By the way, Arizona responded immediately. And whoever this person is on Yelp who responds to say that they ensure 100% customer satisfaction and give refunds - it appears that's a lie because they dont. I know, a 2 star rating for a service that comes out and removes dog poop from the yard, right? My house has a back alley and that's where the trash cans are. Despite repeatedly asking the guys that come out to please put the bag of poop in the trash in the alley we typically get a present on our driveway instead. Not a huge deal but it's annoying. We also find that sometimes the people that come out do a good job and others we can go out in back the day they came and it seems like they missed a lot. First world problems I recognize but when you pay to have poop removed you kinda want to not have to deal with it.
