This guy takes in all kinds of dogs and has such a relaxed attitude because he knows it calms them. I don't know how he does it, but it happens and happens well. While they were good, it was a huge mistake. Even though she knows we're pulling up to the vet and freaks out, when you get in, at least they have confined spaces and extra hands to help handle the dog. They now have an exam room with an entrance from the front of the building. We managed to work it out such that the room was available when we pulled up and didn't have to go sit in the lobby waiting for a room. That said, there were still two trips through the lobby to weigh and then for her exam and shots. Dr. Kemnitz is a practical vet and I've been pleased with his work. God rest Dr. Holcomb.

Day care, boarding, and the other services (ie. nail trimming, etc) are top notch. When our dog is there she only spends time in a crate for nap/sleep time. So other than that I have sat this particular dog several times in the past and I always pick them up at Dogtopia, love this! I also noticed they do have dog treats in the very front and a jar. That was a nice gesture to give treats to visitors and their dogs bringing them in or taking them. As a dog lover myself definitely would recommend this location they're very careful with your dog and make sure they're treated with great respect and treated very well. They even send you home with a report card of how the dog did while being at this Cool place! One negative I have to point out they have a school right across the way for children so they do tend to have a lot of parking and 1 guy that was backing up almost hit me today. I had to yell at him but he seemed like he might have been a little off. Picking up his children. There were no problems, besides the key not working properly one time. Then, very recently, An absolute NIGHTMARE happened. They locked the keys inside the apartment, and they also left the balcony door open! The screen door was slightly open as well, and since i have a cat, they can get through easily. I live on the 5th floor, this is not a safe height to let a cat stay at, and possibly jump out. This mistake was over memorial weekend, where staff and maintenance as well as my girlfriend and I were out of town or busy. They texted me, and gave me a half hearted insincere apology. When I tried opening their pet sitting portal recently, trying to take up their offer of reimbursing the key lock out fee of $250 over a holiday weekend, they had ghosted me!! I was locked out of my account, and my number blocked. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They make stupid mistakes and endanger pets -- the very last thing you want from a pet sitting company.

An important message that I sent was missed, which led to my cat's waste collecting over a period of days in the tub, and with my cat eventually peeing on my bed (he is beyond hygienic and selective with where he goes to the bathroom). Even with the missed message, I would think their noses would lead them to the tub? It absolutely stank when I got home (there was also dried cat vomit in the bathroom - I just live in a studio). And I then had to spend hours washing everything on my bed, getting Urine Destroyer, etc... really not ideal after getting home from a trip. This is in addition to lights being left on, pill pocket pack not sealed after use, and litter and garbage preferences not followed. Also, I would have preferred they contacted me when my cat decided not to eat his medicine the first day, than to decide how to handle it on their own, although their idea wasn't a bad one. They are perfectly nice people but I would say that if your cat requires anything beyond basic care (throw food in a bowl and scoop box), look elsewhere. Details and communication are important. I communicated some of this to the company and they offered me a free visit in the future, which I thought was a bit presumptuous. They did play with him and actually spend time with him (instead of feeding and dashing), which is something I do appreciate.

My husband and I have a 10 1/2 year old dog. I don't need to tell others out there that as your dog ages, you grow a bit more protective of his care. Last 4th of July, we left our dog at the city's most expensive dog boarding place thinking, as we were new to town, that it had to be the best. Wrong! Their 24/7 camera on the crating and play area made it perfectly clear there were no humans around and we're 8 am, then 9 am and still...no person. We were panicked. While everything worked out ok (their person who was to come in had car trouble), it made for a very stressful morning. I learned you need to ask any boarding place a simple question: when does the last person leave at night and when does a person arrive in the morning? You may, I fear, be shocked by the 12-14 hour time frames. I know I was which circles back to Doggone. I emailed that question first and got back the most wonderful response that Liz and Mike never leave the dogs overnight alone. Yeah! After learning this, I was happy to sign up for Phase 1, the meet-and-greet. It was professionally and warmly handled. Liz and Mike answered my questions, asked me question and made it clear: I just could tell our dog would be in good hands. What a marvelous feeling! Paperwork is part of the process. They use the third party Dogvacay so payments are easily processed. I'll follow up after the boarding is complete.

Brianna is so caring and gentle. We even stopped medicating him for his grooming appointments because Brianna goes slow and takes her time with him. We also have a puppy who is kind of a spaz... she gives him equal care and attention. We couldn't be happier, and it's such a bonus with Mobil grooming as they get groomed, and then walk right back up the front door.
