Megan, my audiologist has been spectacular! She is well trained, experienced, knowledgeable, and truly cares. She is always researching new technology and comparing manufacturers. But for the first time in several years I'm hearing in nearly any environment at a level where I can happily experience life again. I can only echo what other positive reviewers have said... it's an office that really seems to know hearing inside and out, and I thought my hearing test was thorough. Jennifer presented me with my results and explained what they meant, and I felt much more empowered by some of the explanations I received about hearing at Highline. Even though the hearing aids were not purchased through HHP, they went above and beyond to accommodate our request for a hearing test and provided my father with valuable information about his hearing condition and also explained benefits that he was entitled to as a veteran.The entire staff at HHP went above and beyond. I have been going here for hearing aids for about 15 years. I can not compare the price or the brands of aids they offer with other places because I have only gone here. While the hearing aids are expensive I am pretty sure they are not any cheaper elsewhere. By going here I know I am getting excellent, personalized service and I totally trust that they are giving me a high quality product that meets my unique hearing loss. Basically I worship the ground these folk walk on. About 10 years ago it was bothering me, and I was very conscious of, that frequently at work I would have to ask people to repeat themselves. I was also very aware that when doing so I would be focusing on their lips. Well it dawned on me that I probably hadn't had a hearing test since joining the army in 1977, and that was probably rather rinky-dink. I make an online inquiry with someone at Highline Hearing Professionals and next thing I knew I had made an appointment for a hearing test. I found my hearing loss was actually worse than I had thought. The talk of hearing aids came up and they through a sample Oticon Delta on me to try for two weeks. I walked there and back that day, and on the walk home I was grinning from ear to ear. I had not realized what I had been missing out on. I knew I had to scrounge up the funds to make this purchase because this wasn't just a convenience, I realized this was a quality of life issue. Well those Oticon Deltas lasted me for six or seven years. About two years ago I made a new purchase, the AGX9. These hearing aids are everything my Oticons wished they could be. Amazing! The entire staff there is warm, professional, engaging, and always willing to be of help. They truly understand service. Bear in mind, this is not the type of hearing aid place like the flyers you see in the Sunday paper. These people are the best around tho. I am the caretaker for my Aunt Jo. Without getting into a long story, there was a big challenge around Jo's hearing aids - she lost them and/or they were taken from herwhile enduring a 3-month stint in a nursing facility. She is 91-years of age and does her best on a daily basis and this has been traumatic for her - after keeping and protecting her hearing aids for many years, without incident. This was my first experience getting my hearing tested and then fitted with hearing devices. I can't tell you enough how pleased I was and still am this this team of hearing professionals. I didn't know what I wanted, but they were extremely patient and helpful. They worked with me until I was 100% satisfied with both comfort, style and of course how well they work. The service I received at Highline Hearing was truly remarkable. Not only was the front staff courteous and friendly, but Eileen was outstanding! She repaired my current hearing aids at no charge and did a comprehensive test of my hearing. We determined that another set of hearing aids were needed (my old set is going on 6 years). When Eileen found out that I was moving to Tucson in a few months, she gave me a referral to the Tucson area instead of selling me my new pair. She explained that a big part of a hearing aid purchase is the follow-up visits and service, and she would not be able to provide that for me. Wow!! I was visiting Seattle from Tucson when I realized that I had misplaced the charger for my Phonak Com Pilot II, which allows me to hear phone calls and TV through my hearing aids. My in-laws use Highline Hearing Professionals, so I thought I might be able to buy a charger there. They did not have one to sell, but lent me one to use free of charge for as long as I was in the Seattle area. Jennifer, an audiologist there, also checked my hearing aids to be sure that they were working well. Imagine not being an existing patient , having already purchased hearing aids from another audiologist, but getting the royal treatment nevertheless. I was literally a walk in person with hearing aids I had purchased 5 years ago from a Portland audiologist. I am in transition from Portland to the UK and temporarily residing in Burien. I thought it would be wise to get a hearing aid tuneup for my Oticon hearing aids before leaving the country. I found Highline through a search for Oticon reps and thought I would give them a go. I explained my situation, they made an appointment for the next day and treated me with such care. They had my previous audiologist fax my records so they would have my hearing history to work with. Well, honestly, their professionalism and technical skills in testing my hearing, cleaning my ears, no less, and tuning my hearing aids was superior to any previous care I have had.
