This is an amazing place! I am a new mom on maternity leave and a chiropractor myself. I was in desperate need of an adjustment but couldn't commute to my clinic downtown. Burien Wellness got me in the same day and took excellent care of me. Dr. Aaron Collins and his staff are fantastic, welcoming, and he was a phenomenal adjustor. They are very kid friendly as well, it's clear they adore babies and kiddos by the way their office is structured and the way they interacted with my son. An awesome place, 10/10! They are good at adjustments and have a nice, clean and modern office. If you don't like the open concept you won't like their style of office. Not seeing the same doctor and not having the privacy to openly discuss whole health issues is a drawback. Did not appreciate that none of the staff there were wearing masks amidst a pandemic. When we all wear masks we are protecting each other, and feeling healthy doesn't mean you aren't a carrier. I think we can all believe what we want for our own life and families, but risking your patients health to show you don't believe "the hype" is not the way a healthcare provider cares for patients. read more

I saw such great reviews and it just goes to show how you coerce people into believIng you'll have a different experience than you actually do. They are marketers and very sales driven. While the staff is very friendly, they are pushy and very cult like! As a new patient I came in with a pinched nerve issue and they immediately made me get X-rays without any discussion of price or why I needed them. When I asked, I was given very brief answers saying they'd like me know the price on my next visit? WHAT? After my X-rays I was told I needed to come back in 2 days and that I really needed to prioritize and come back within 2 days and made an appointment at 6:45am (my only availability in 2 days). I pushed to have the appointment the following week and they declined. When they reviewed my condition it's was automatically "the worst they've ever seen" type of sales and marketing and that I needed to pay the $3K out of pocket (I have insurance!). Are you insane? I ended up finding another chiropractor who worked on my pinched nerve and saw no other chiropractic issues for me. This place is definitely conning you for money. And the bill I received for the X-rays was very pricey and I would've never agreed to them if they would've talked pricing prior. Don't fall for it! read more

If you want quality, go to Collins Chiropractic! Most places don't have this, but they provide the best of everything in a combination. The kindness they provide here is like no other establishment! They Always remember everyones name and they give you quality conversation every time you walk in! Its insane! They also provide you with very accurate knowledge about how Chiropractic really works and why people need it. The whole place is also decorated with information! I first came here years ago and I came in basically barely able to walk. My neck was stuck turned, my shoulder was upwards, just looked terrible. Worst pain of my life! In a couple seconds Dr. Collins would make the pain go away. It was a process, but a worthwhile process. I came in several times a week and he also made my posture better which was a huge bonus! Gotta look good in public ya know! Every time i had an injury it was fixed at Collins. I do a lot of dangerous stunts and spinning on my head so I know pain and I know this place knows their practice! If you want to be a more enhanced person, try out chiropractic! I've been to over a dozen chiropractors and have found a couple that I loved. Collins' practice provides the best service and care I've ever received. I read the negative reviews I could find here and can address a couple points. First, this is the most efficiently run chiropractic business I've ever seen. They treat more people faster than I've ever seen before. At the same time, I spend less time waiting to be seen, and I get in and out faster than other clinics I've been to. Furthermore, despite being wildly efficient and serving more clients than most offices I've visited, their bedside manner and attentiveness are the best I've encountered. I don't feel my quality of care is any lower. In fact I think it's among the top of the dozen or so chiropractic offices I've experienced. Second, their system is first in first out and people don't schedule with certain doctors. That said, I've found them to be extraordinarily well coordinated. At first I noticed I was curious as to how they were managing this so well. Are their patient notes really that amazing??? I don't see them writing excessively compared to other chiropractors... After visiting for a while, I think the answer is simpler than I imagined. I think they talk to eachother. For instance, when I walk by their clinic in the evening I can see them holding team meetings, going over patient cases, etc. While each chiropractor has their own style, overall, I'm impressed by how well coordinated they are between multiple care givers. And, if you communicate what works or doesn't between providers, they are quick to respond accordingly. Third, I was put off by the required new patient orientation. I thought 'give me a break, I don't have time for that' but I sucked it up and went. I even brought my wife (because they recommended bringing your spouse such that they could be a partner in your care). This was much easier said than done because my wife became a doctor of physical therapy because a chiropractor injured her as a child and a physical therapist helped her recover. When I started dating my wife about 8 years before attending Collins, I made the mistake of going to see a chiropractor and I may as well have cheated on her. Needless to say, I hadn't seen a chiropractor in 8 years and thought I never would again.. but then I was in pain and needed one. She came to the orientation and was super skeptical. She asked a lot of skeptical questions. And, she left being supportive of my plan of care and their approach to their practice. More so, I learned a ton and I didn't expect to learn anything. My wife was astounded by the their operations quality and efficiency and after injuring her neck, she's begun to see them too. She's in charge of quality of care for the largest rehab provider in the Pacific Northwest, overseeing dozens of clinics and hundreds of clinicians, and she's wildly distrusting of chiropractors and their work. And, she's going to Collins. I never saw that happening. Fourth, Collins Chiropractic is involved in just about every public event in Burien. They are constantly participating and hosting exercise events for families, safety fairs, the farmers market, etc. We have well over a dozen chiropractors in the area and they are the only ones I see investing in the health of the community beyond the walls of their own office. Frankly, I've never seen any community presence or an expressed commitment to the health of the community by any medical office or hospital on the scale I've seen emanating from this two doctor clinic. I've spoken to other clinics and they say "Yeah, we participated once and the new patients we acquired didn't justify our continued participation". Meanwhile, Collins keeps participating... or even creating and organizing new community events. Dr. Collins and his wife are on a personal mission to make Burien the healthiest community in America. In summary, Collins does serve a lot of patients and they do so very quickly. Usually, given a scarcity of resources and medical practitioners to go around, the quality of care for any individual is at odds with the quality of care available to the whole. E.g., we can give 10 minutes of care to six people or 60 minutes of care to one person. So, typically, an office with high throughput sacrifices quality. Nevertheless, that tradeoff can be broken. Through innovation, you can find ways to do more with less, and I'm frankly astounded by the hundreds of small innovations I can see at Collins that add up to a phenomenal experience for a large number of people. I think they're a leader in the industry. I hope their methods can be disseminated to make the greatest care available to the greatest number of people. For reference, during my time as a patient, I have been treated by Dr. Luke, Scott, and Collins. Please do get vaccinated for the health of the whole (even if there is a risk). Crack crack crack next. Crack crack crack next. Crack crack crack next... There is a bench for five or so patients waiting to be treated looking down on you on the treatment bed. I think there are four treatment beds and they are all full and waiting as Doctor Collins cracks you on your right side, then on your left side, and then to your back for a neck crack. And you're done. There is no communication, no touch, no massage, no heat. And oddly no spinal treatment as you lay on your stomach. I thought this was odd as this particular procedure was the only thing that has ever made my back feel straight and took away the numbing of my hands and feet while I lay in bed. Every chiropractor I've ever been to includes this in the treatment. When I asked the doctor why this particular adjustment wasn't included he simply didn't answer me. I can't understand all of the five star reviews here I guess whatever works is the bottom line, but I'm at a loss to understand it. read more

When I visited Dr. Collins, I had seen a few physical therapists and 2 chiropractors to relieve the pain I was in. I had a tear in the annular of my C5-C6 disc and a 9mm x 9mm x 7mm herniation in my C6-C7 disc. I couldn't lie down at all. I was on about 30 mg of oxycontin a day and was truly miserable. This had gone on for about 1 month and it started to really depress me because I couldn't escape the pain and didn't know what the answer was. It was hell; I wouldn't wish what I was going through on any one. Within 3 weeks, I was completely off of the pain meds. I continued treatment for another few months to get completely healthy and have been fine ever since. That was 3 years ago and I haven't thought about my neck ever since. Everything works great. I have lived in several different cities and states. My chiropractor in California was amazing, I used to continue to go home to visit family and stop in for an adjustment because I couldn't find one here that I liked. Then I found one near my parents on the peninsula who I loved. My work schedule changed, now I only got to visit on weekends. I stumbled across Collins Chiropractic when my back pain was so bad it hurt to sit and I was in tears daily. They are amazing! Not only are the doctors fabulous, but the office staff is amazing as well. I went from horrible pain to none! The Massage therapist Rachel is also outstanding! I can't explain how completely amazing they all are and now they feel like family to me! They have taken care of issues I wouldn't even have known that could be treated with chiropractic care. I have been nauseous for weeks now and I find relief when I am in the presence of those who have empathy and show true care. I have been seeing Aaron (Dr. Collins) for the past 4 years. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my care. He has helped us through a lot, my husband was rear ended and Aaron helped him so he could move his neck with out being in pain. Every time we walk in we are greeted by a great staff and they are always willing to help. It may not be set up like a normal office, there are private rooms for consulting, but you are adjusted with everyone else. There are things that set this office out from the others, he has a kids area, just for them, he does a new patient orientation to give everyone back ground on why he does what he does, and unlike every other doctor I have been too, he cares. He will give you a call on your birthday to say happy birthday, I have had him call me at 7 pm after an adjustment to make sure I was still doing okay. He will also work with you for co-pays and payments after insurance is used. read more

My review is long overdue for Collins Chiropractic. If you want quality care, you need to come here. The front desk will always call you by name from the moment you first walk through the door. Dr. Collins isn't about back and neck pain, he's about figuring out the source of what ever is causing you discomfort and he's about being a helping hand in achieving optimal health. His love for the community shows. He throws an event in honor of healthy kids once a year and he loves caring for families that he has a nursing mothers room and an open children's adjustment area. Going there with my two kids is always fun. The care you receive is just simply too notch. Dr. Collins goes over your health concerns and goals, and he does an analysis of your nervous system as well as x-Rays to help determine how the health of your spine is. He does it all in office, no need to go out to another clinic to get this information. I can't say enough about them, they simply are the best! read more

I have received chiropractic care before, and know the difference between good and bad. This place is the worst. I recently moved to the south end and needed to find a new doctor. I basically would compare Collin's Chiropractic to a chiropractic gang bang. I was adjusted by 3 different doctors, over the course of 4 visits. Each visit was about 5 minutes long, after waiting in a line of human cattle whose necks are all going to be destroyed by these hacks. I was told that I needed to come at least 3 times a week for a minimum of 4 weeks, which just happens to be the exact number of visits, my insurer provides me per year... Coincidence? I don't think so. Then it was demanded that I attend their new patient orientation, and the argument that ensues with the front desk girl pretty much destroyed any relief I may have gotten from my last adjustment there. Needless to say, I had my records transfered across the street to Moss Chiropractic. I am very happy here, and was relieved, when Dr. Luke said see you in two weeks! LOL, What at joke! I wouldn't have added this review, except I was looking for a new chiropractor and saw that Collins is rated highest in Burien on Yelp. Arrrrrgh! Just goes to show how effective their cult-like sales and marketing strategies are. On the one hand, I credit Drs. Collins and Wade with getting me walking again when a pinched nerve had me in excruciating pain. On the other hand, they have brochures on the front counter about the dangers of vaccinating children, and the place is definitely a chiropractic mill with an emphasis on profit and brainwashing. You will be milked for every penny, and their methods seem very basic and one-size-fits-all. They do a big sell on the importance of bringing your children in for chiropractic treatment, and it is apparently effective, as I saw children being treated during my time there. They are great for back-crunching, but I would not go back and regret having chosen them the first time. read more
