Dishonest... patients are just their $$ maker. I went to the consultation. Dr. Hill showed my x-ray and told me I needed a lot of adjustment. He told me to come back 2-3 times a week for like 10 weeks. I thought it was excessive but I decided to take his words for it. After a couple of weeks of adjustment, I started to experience a new muscle pain, so I told Dr. Hill that I wanted to hold off on further adjustment until my body adjusted. His answer was that it's "good" that I'm experiencing new muscle pain because I'm being adjusted to the "healthier form." It made no sense but I went back a couple of more times, and every time I complained about the new pain, Dr. Hill "encouraged" me to come back again and again. He even saw me limping and still claimed I needed adjustment. It occurred to me that I'm just one of his money makers after the day they were running 30-40min behind. There are usually 2 chiro doctors - dr. Hill and dr. Bernal, and they were running 30-40min behind because "dr. Bernal had an emergency and dr. Hill had to see all of their patients on his own." People at the waiting room started to get upset including myself, and we were all given the same explanation. Why didn't they call to cancel some patients? I speculate it's because they'd rather make us wait and get the money from insurance than losing it. A couple of weeks after the incident, I saw dr. Bernal and asked about the emergency - I wanted to make sure his family was ok. Then he told me that he just went to see his family in Vancouver, Canada; it wasn't an emergency. So the explanation dr. Hill gave all of the patients that dr. Bernal had an emergency were lie to cover up the fact they didn't want to lose the money maker (aka patients) for the day. Once I learned that dr. Hill lied to me and all other patients, my trust was completely gone. It all made sense why he kept telling me to come back despite he saw me limping. Also, we all know good massage therapists are hard to find. When I found one, and I made an appt with the specific therapist, the front desk ladies kept switching the therapist without my consent. I asked them not to do it, and I always for the cookie-cutter answer "I'll make a note of it." Then they did it AGAIN. That time I left without getting the treatment from a therapist I didn't know. After the incident, they finally stopped because I refused to pay the cancellation fee. Another time I showed up, I was told my massage therapist called in sick. I asked why they didn't call me to let me know before I went; it takes me 45min to get there. Their explanation was that they did leave a message and my phone somehow deleted the incoming call record and their voice mail on its own. This place is such a hassle. Before you go there, know that they'll lie to you to get your money. Patients seem to be just money makers to them. read more

He listened to what I had to say and didn't dismiss me and I appreciated that coming from another chiropractor who did.
