I've had several injuries throughout my work life: all of which began to go from bad to worse in the course of 10+ yrs. Each time I'd go in and seek help, I'm always met w/the same spiel of: "everything looks normal", "you're still young", "just stretch", 'specialist this-specialist that' blah blah bs. The techniques, Dr. B used (though painful) were just what my body needed to help get 'that release', I hadn't been able to get anywhere else. The only downside is the steep cost if your insurance doesn't cover the appts. But the way I'm currently feeling vs how I was feeling 2wks ago is Def worth the cost. I def recommend Dr. Barragan !! David Baum & his team did a phenomenal job for my Tennis elbow pain and lower back pain. The fixed it fast and provided me a plan to prevent injury and pain in the future. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and provided an excellent treatment and rehab plan. They have a philosophy of fixing the root causes of your pain, and prescribes exercises to help get rid of your pain PERMANENTLY! They value your time and don't want to create a dependency for you, instead they want to see you as few times as possible and get your back to your normal pain free life FAST. I've been to PT before and had some really good experiences, but from now on I'm always going to Alisa Sharma and Airrosti for my treatment. It's a whole 'nother level! For those new to Airrosti like me: I'm amazed by how much this place is your "one stop shop" for pain/recovery. Each session is packed full: analysis/diagnostics, deep tissue treatment, rehab exercises/stretching for take-home and finally: tape!! Each session I came out feeling like a transformed person with renewed purpose. Yeah I know that sounds corny but they really are that good! My favorite thing about Airrosti is they work with you in your active lifestyle. I was never told to stop my workouts altogether, thankfully, not even to stop doing the things that likely caused my pain in the first place. Instead, we worked on plans that would integrate with the work and strengthen weak points, two-birds-one-stone style. I think it REALLY makes a difference that the staff trains too, and understands the frustration behind "just stop what you're doing." For Dr. Sharma in particular: I can't recommend her highly enough. Enthusiastic and relentlessly curious, she's as driven to solve your issue as you are! She checks in regularly and keeps your progress in mind, which is so encouraging to realize you're not alone with your problem. Not to mention she's friendly and fun to chat with!! I won't go so far to say I'd trade the pain back to go see her... but if I ever get hurt again that is absolutely a silver lining :D Another thing I've realized: I'm not afraid of getting hurt anymore! I used to fear, as someone approaching my mid-30s, that any next injury might be "the one" that keeps me from doing all the stuff I love. That mentality has fundamentally changed after this experience, at this point I'm confident I can bring my future problems to Dr. Sharma and work through em together. This is reassuring cause I'm doing some relatively rigorous training right now! Your mileage may vary of course but here were my stats: - Session 1, pain in both shoulders of unknown origin. By then it had gotten bad enough to hurt during daily activities, like buckling a seatbelt or putting on a coat. - The first few sessions we targeted a few spots that were getting underutilized: supraspinatus and later serratus. I learned a toooon about shoulder muscles and there's still so much to know, lol - About midway through, sessions 3-4, the pain became mostly limiting on lifts and certain climbs. On Dr Sharma's recommendation I incorporated extra stretching/rollouts before and after workouts. - By Session 6 aka the last session, the pain was completely gone for everyday activities, and nearly gone from climbing/weightlifting. - The whole process was about a month and half start to finish. Scheduling was always flexible and easy. - Post-care! Checking in a little over 2 months from my last session: I'm at 0 daily pain including climbing and full range of motion! There were a couple straggling lifts that took longer to come back online, but at this point I'm back to all my usual numbers on lifts and feeling really good about it. Seriously, I can't recommend Airrosti and Dr. Sharma highly enough. If you're in pain, that's a bummer but also lucky you, go see her!! read more

Dr. Baum is an extraordinary practitioner. Full of in-depth knowledge and good humor, he made the whole process both understandable - and while not quite "fun," we did laugh a lot. The balance between physical manipulation and take-home exercises not only resolved the issue but also helped build resilience in the weaker areas to prevent reoccurrence. Everyone in the office has a great approach, and I am thrilled that my back pain has decreased, the underlying causes (which were multiple) have been addressed, and my range of motion and ability to run has returned. After years of waking up in the middle of the night with numb, tingly arms post car crashes (hey Seattleites, please learn to watch for cars when you're changing lanes and turning out of the wrong lane), I have relief! I did traditional chiropractic and massage, which helped temporarily, but obviously never fully fixed the injuries and after-effects of compensating for those injuries. After a few sessions with Brandon and Sam, the patterns have pretty much stopped! Between the (swear-inducing) massage targeting problem muscles and the physical therapy exercises to strengthen and stretch, I'm feeling better than I have in years. We've started working on a hip issue I've had for years, no doubt made worse by a couple of falls from horses, and after a couple of sessions, I'm already feeling way better. This is all stuff doctors ignored because it wasn't major enough, but it was affecting my ability to enjoy my life fully. On top of the excellent care, these guys are just great human beings. It's been a wonderful break in the work day to see them (even if I drop all the f-bombs when things hurt!), and I'm almost sad I'm just about done with my treatment! read more

Back in June, I really hurt my back while attempting to play 36 holes of golf in a day. Despite time and RICE, the pain in the left side of my back did not go away so I gave AirRosti a try - I am SO happy that I did. During my first visit, Dr Brandon diagnosed the muscle strain and I was able to receive a treatment along with a PT session. After just 3 visits across 2 weeks, I was discharged - pain free and back on the golf course. Fast forward to August.... I hurt what I thought was my right arm, again overuse from playing golf. I knew exactly where to go: Brandon and Sam. They correctly determined it was actually my shoulder that I overused and what I was experiencing in my arm was referred pain. After 2 visits, I was good to go. I think that Dr Brandon is a miracle worker and Sam has really set me up for success with the exercise and warmup techniques. I was training for my first marathon and things were going well. I was following a program, super consistent, and feeling great all the way up to 16 miles. Then I started to feel something in my Achilles that made my heart sink. I knew the feeling because I experienced Achilles tendinitis after my first half marathon years ago and had to go through 6 months of PT after crossing the finish line in pain. I worried that my dream of completing a marathon was over! But I didn't give up. I looked up recommendations for healing an Achilles and a YouTube video from AirRosti popped up. My experience with Airrosti has been nothing short of life changing. If you're living with chronic pain, PLEASE give Airrosti a call and schedule an appointment! It WILL make an enormous impact on your life and health. A little about my case... I herniated a disc a few years ago and had a minor surgery that has resulted in some on and off pain and tightness in my lower back that benefits temporarily from routine chiropractic visits, exercise and stretching but I haven't been able to pinpoint the issues to alleviate the pain in a lasting way. I have also been dealing with a rotator cuff impingement (mis-diagnosed as a rotator cuff tear) that has been giving me increasing trouble. I am about to move into a more physical line of work and wanted to see if Airrosti could help me get my body into better working shape to start rebuilding muscle mass and endurance that the last few years in a sedentary office job have impeded. I set up an appointment online and received a call from the Airrosti scheduling department a few days later. It wasn't going to be covered by my insurance so I cancelled the appointment, thinking I'd try again when some insurance changes occur after the start of the year. I received a call from one of the health care providers, Dr. Aubrey Fearn, who asked me to come in for a complimentary assessment. Understanding my financial concerns, we worked out a plan that was VERY accommodating and generous. After only the first visit, with some additional exercises at home, both conditions (they normal try to treat one condition per recovery plan but Dr. Fearn was very flexible with me because of my shortened timeline) had IMMEDIATE improvement. To illustrate, my shoulder had become so weak and tender that doing shoulder presses at the gym was tenuous at best and challenging and painful most of the time. Dumbbell presses and bench press were difficult as well and I couldn't increase weight because my right shoulder just couldn't keep up. After a couple of visits, I was putting up full weight and doing reps until muscle failure without ANY issues. My back still has some time and exercise to improve but the improvement has been drastic. Using a lacrosse ball, foam roller, some stretches and simple exercises, it feels better EVERY day. And when my back tightens up, I hit the key areas Dr. Fearn showed me and have IMMEDIATE relief of all symptoms. Airrosti's methods (at least in my case) target the soft tissues that pull my spine, hips and shoulders out of their normal alignment to give me truly outstanding results. This is not the typical chiropractic approach and it has given me the tools to continue my own improvement without repeat visits indefinitely. I'm back on the road and treadmill, running distances I haven't in years and I'm rebuilding muscle mass I haven't been able to since before my herniation. I wake up with less pain and tightness and if I do have any issues (my back has always been at its worst first thing in the morning), I hit the foam roller and lacrosse ball for 5-10 minutes and I feel 10 years younger. I have had some significant shoulders issues for quite some time (my whole life). As of 2 years ago I had to have surgery and things have just gone downhill from there. I met Dr. Brandon Shiflett, and hands down have to say he is a miracle worker. Certain treatments don't work for everyone. But Dr. Shiflett addressed and targeted the pain I was experiencing at the root of the problem, tackled the pain (pain that other doctors just could not address) and has given me tools to keep the pain subsided. Shown me why it was happening, explained in detail, so now I can be conscious of my everyday movements and problems that I was causing myself. Again, not all treatment works for everyone. But I would definitely recommend getting an assessment if you have any type of injury that you feel should get a second look at. read more
