If you're looking for a caring, intuitive, knowledgeable and thorough chiropractor Dr. Kaufman is the one! I have seen several chiropractors over the past 20 years for chronic levator scapula pain, she is the only one to provide relief. Upon our initial visit she provided a though examination of my spine and nerve function. I have never had a doctor carefully feel each vertebrae as she did. She has also successfully kept my sciatica in check, and helped my daughter with feet issues. Domonique is always welcoming at the front desk. I called yesterday with an emergency - my neck was in severe pain. She got me in same day (even offered an on call massage therapist) and Dr. Kaufman worked her magic! I had a great experience with Dr. Kaufman, she is very warm, easy to talk too and a great chiropractor. She was very knowledgable about the body and walked me through different tests to evaluate my shoulder pain and where it was coming from. Coming to Holistic Chiropractic has been an integral part of my holistic self care throughout much of the last year of this pandemic. I've been coming here since September 2013 and have seen a great improvement in my overall health as well as specific problem areas I've struggled with for a while. I started off seeing Dr. Dawn because I thought my back could use some adjusting. rather than just looking at my specific areas of concern, she wanted to get an understanding of my overall health and various body issues. After my very first adjustment I noticed such a reduction in pain that I almost couldn't believe it! I soon started to also see Natasa for massages. She is a miracle worker and quite a lovely person. She uses suction cups as part of her massages which helps work through deep tissue muscle issues wonderfully. I walk out of every massage feeling not only more relaxed but healthier and happier. Acupuncture seemed like another good thing to do for my health so I started to see Susanna as well. She does an amazing job and is great at working on areas of concern as well as finding items that are out of whack that I didn't realize were out of whack. All together, the staff here are some of the most caring people I've ever seen. They really care about their patients and want to see them be their healthiest. I highly recommend coming here. They take insurance and will check what your coverage is. You can pay your copay with credit card (I haven't tried cash or check so I'm not sure if that's accepted). Parking is on the side of the building (I just found that out a few weeks ago!) and there are enough spots for all of their providers to have a patient plus a few more. read more

I have been going here for over a year and they have always made me feel welcome and important, they've fit me in around my crazy work schedule, and they are fantastic at fixing my back/joint problems. Dominique at the front desk always takes the time to talk with me about anything and everything. She is so kind, efficient and has a great sense of humor. She genuinely cares about every single person that walks thru their door and knows everyone by name. I have gone to several chiropractors in the past who didn't explain anything they were doing and made my back feel worse after adjustments. When they say Holistic here, they actually mean it. I have a chronic illness which causes constant pain and chiropractic and massage are two things that help immensely. Dr. Kaufman not only explains everything she is doing, but she also takes the time to investigate any new aches or pains I'm experiencing and adjusts each area. She listens to me, does research to answer my questions, and she really cares about my health and progress. She knows a lot about the body and has been able to recommend alternative treatments to further my healing. She even took the time to see me twice in one day after I had X-rays done on a back injury, and she reviewed each X-ray with me and explained what was going on. And when something didn't look right on the X-ray, she took time over her weekend to follow up with a technician who could figure out exactly what was going on and why. As for massage, I have seen both Kayla and Natasia and will continue to receive massages from them both because of their different techniques. Kayla is so kind and has an intuitive sense about areas of stress and muscle pain. She takes the time to listen to all the things I want to address during the massage and after each massage my pain goes way down. She also does lymphatic drainage which helps a ton and is very relaxing. Natasia is so sweet and really takes the time to go over how cupping works and how it can help different areas of the body. She not only gives a relaxing massage but her cupping technique was the only thing that relieved some serious sinus pressure I was having. I've been coming here for about a year, and boy am I happy with the results. I was having multiple issues, including back pain, sinus congestion, and an ankle that I sprained badly twice not far apart. I had been seeing an ENT for the sinus issues, and it came to the point where he was suggesting invasive surgery that would require me to miss a week of work. My ankle healed after the first sprain with Physical therapy, but after the second sprain PT only did so much. My back has hurt my whole life, but who's back doesn't? It was suggested to me to try a Chiropractor for all of the above issues, so I came in with nothing to lose but my skepticism. Dr. Dawn is great, listens well to my problems, and adjusts as necessary. She understood my skepticism and didn't mind at all! My back does feel better for 1-3 weeks after an adjustment. After a long ski trip nothing feels as good as a chiro visit. My ankle was brought back to 100% from ankle adjustments, and I also started seeing Susana the Acupuncturist here for my sinus issues. When I told her about my ankle, she started giving me Kinesthetic Taping on my ankle, and that helped a lot as well. Between the two of them I am snowboarding and wake boarding without a worry of injury! Saving the best for last, my sinus issue is a hundred times better than when I came in. I was miserable having headaches, and struggling at work when I started. I now still occasionally have flare ups, but with the help of both Susana and Dr Dawn it is totally manageable. read more

The folks at Holistic are actually nice and pleasant; the massage service is awesome. Unfortunately, their method of ensuring customer satisfaction needs to be fine tuned. I was trying for 1.5 months to get in but was not able to, due to their office rescheduling me on the day of appointments, 4 consecutive times. I expressed my disappointment on the 4th time rescheduling, but it was clear the person on the other end was defensive and confused why I was disappointed. I'm guessing no one included a note in the system to track the number of times they reschedule a client for one ap. Honestly, if they had just offered some sort of way to make it up, I'd still be a client. I do want to mention that after the 1st reschedule, they increased my appointment time free of charge (which was awesome of them). But that shouldn't be their insurance to reschedule another 3 times. read more

These ladies are super-stars. I've been to several chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Kauffman is attentive and gentle, yet effective. As I am in my 2nd pregnancy, I'm experiencing various aches and pains, and every time I go to see Dr. Kauffman I get immediate relief that lasts for days. Natasha is also an effective healer and great massage therapist. She will sometimes have me work on some stretching techniques which at the time are uncomfortable - but ultimately just what I needed to release certain muscles, as I am generally quite active in my workouts, and my muscles get really tight. Dr. Kauffman is amazing! She had been able to keep my back and ribs In line. I sometimes go early so I can talk to Dominique at the front because she is fantastic too! Natasha's cupping massages are relaxing and work better than any other massage I have had. Overall, it is a great place for care. And there is a small kids room if you needed it. Update 5/24/2018: Natasha, you are amazing. I went to see her yesterday to help with my asthma. She used cupping, massage, and oils to help clear out my lymphatic system. It worked! The entire team at Holistic is wonderful. Dr. Kaufman is caring and knowledgeable, and will spend as much time as you need to answer any questions you have. Domonique at the front desk is one of the nicest and most welcoming people, and I don't mind arriving early to my appointments as she'll talk to you about anything. Emily is an extremely effective massage therapist; she'll try a slew of different techniques to relieve tension and pain, and her hands are just magical. I haven't personally had any experience with Natasa, but you can read any of the other reviews to see that she's excellent as well. For my specific case, I've had migraines since middle school. Beyond reducing external stressors, nothing has historically been successful in helping with my migraines. However, since starting regular care at Holistic 6 months ago, the severity of my migraines has gone down significantly. Furthermore, I recently scheduled an adjustment immediately as a migraine started, and the adjustment relieved my pain within 30 minutes. For anyone with migraines who's been unable to identify any successful preventative or treatment solutions, I'd highly recommend trying chiropractic care to see if it also helps you. read more

Well, been going here for 2 years or so almost weekly for preventative care. Couldn't be happier with the quality of treatment and caring, knowledgeable nature of the practioners. I have seen Dr. Dawn for all of the 2 years, and, as a decent amateur athlete, I am positive her treatment has heavily impacted my health in a positive way. Been to 3 or 4 other chiros in my life and she blows them all away. I have been injury-free for almost the entire time, and when I do injure myself through weightlifting technique or freak accidents (slipping on rainy pavement while running downhill fullspeed), her adaptive treatment gets me back training extremely quickly, usually within a week or even days. She is also very forthcoming with her extensive medical knowledge - as a scientist myself I am usually curious about the physiological basis for distinct treatments. Highly recommended. I also have seen Susanna R., the accupuncture expert here, for several months now. She is also the best accupuncurist I have ever had (have done 3 others). Most complete, adaptive, and relaxing treatments I can imagine. I look forward to all my visits here and couldn't be happier. Oh, and Abby the furry Flash is always a treat to pet and play with too. I guess I have nothing at all negative to say about Dr. Dawn and Dr. Rojas. This makes me feel like I should revoke my scientist card, as we are all supposed to be cynical. Hands down the best chiropractor I've ever been to! Dr. Kaufman is basically as good as the come. She doesn't just do a generic adjustment like most chiropractors who crack your back and send you on your way. She spends the time to see what the real issue is and then sets up a treatment plan. I used to suffer from major neck pain from sitting at a desk all day. But, after 3 months of seeing Dr. Kaufman, I feel 100%.
