I know this review is LONG but bare with me & Please read...... Especially if you're HONESTLY in…read morepain & tired of being treated like a crackhead JUST for needing honest help!!! I NEVER thought that I'd say this about a pain specialist's office, but I actually look forward to my visits to SPR! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly staff with a smile, especially Olivia & Favi..... Who are basically the dynamic duo of kindness & efficiency!!! They SOMEHOW make paperwork feel LESS painful, which is quite impressive (at least, in MY opinion!) The whole office runs like a very well-oiled machine, but with WAY more smiles & WAY less stress!!!!! Olivia & Favi deserve their OWN fan club at this point!!!!!! In all seriousness though!! They are Friendly, Organized, & SOMEHOW remember everything (including my name, which makes me feel more like a VIP--instead of just "Patient #472")!!!! The providers are FANTASTIC too, But honestly?!? Those first few minutes with Olivia and Favi set the tone for the whole visit. If all doctor's offices were like SPR, I might ACTUALLY stop procrastinating my appointments!!!!! EXTRA BONUS POINTS-- for living/providing care in REALITY too!!!! They understand that pain medication ISN'T some EVIL villain in a Horror movie!!!! It's more like a helpful sidekick--when it's handled RESPONSIBILY!! Same goes for CBD--it's NOT some mysterious "Shhh!! Don't say its name!!!" ingredient!! For SOME of us, It's ACTUALLY part of a balanced approach that can immensely help reduce overall pain &/or swelling, so that other treatments don't have to work overtime!!!!!! Basically, SPR treats pain management like a team sport. I REALLY appreciate that!! 5 STARS---- I WOULD abso-freakin-lutely recommend SPR (Even if you're just going to say Hi to Olivia & Favi..... LOL!!.....But also, Y'know, for the EXCELLENT CARE!!!)

I have been a member of Group Health--now Kaiser Permanente--since 1957. Over those many years I…read morehave had the privilege of working with several outstanding primary care physicians, and the care I've received has consistently been excellent. When my longtime PCP left Kaiser several months ago, I wondered whether I would be able to find another doctor with the same level of dedication and mutual respect that I value in a physician-patient relationship. Today I met Dr. Martin Levine and came away very impressed. He is an exceptional listener and was fully present during our visit. His questions about my medical history and current health were thoughtful and specific rather than routine or generic. What impressed me most was the thoughtfulness of his clinical judgment--his questions clearly reflected a careful effort to understand the full picture of my health. His manner was relaxed, professional, and genuinely caring, and I left the appointment feeling confident that my health is in very capable hands. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Levine and am very pleased to call him my primary care physician.

I took a bad fall at a bus stop when I tripped on a Lime bike that was laid out flat on the…read moresidewalk. I bruised and scraped my right knee, elbow and hand badly. Since I fractured the right kneecap two years ago in a previous fall, I wanted to get X-rays at Northgate. The appointing person told me that KP had recently banned walk-in X-rays and now required one have an in-person appointment with a doc to see if the patient is worthy of getting X-rays. The new rule is that walk-ins are banned from getting X-rays. A patient has to make an appointment to see a doctor BEFORE X-rays. This makes no sense at all. In the past, my doctor would order X-rays and meet with me later to discuss the results. This is totally backwards. KP also recently banned patients from being able to reply to a doctor's message on My Chart. KP keeps coming up with new ways to keep patients away from practioners, in order to increase revenue flowing to its obscenely-overpaid KP CEO, Gregory Adams. I like my doctors a lot but I don't like spending hours per week fighting with the mindless KP bureaucracy to get care. It's exhausting, particularly whe one is 75 and dealing with multiple health issues.

The procedure was done by Doctor Khan but they had a fill-in person doing the pre-treatment exam. I found the procedure quite painful and was crying out. I consider myself a tough cookie I had a natural childbirth with no drugs. Lol When it came time to pay I got a lot of bad news. They have no credit card machine. The receptionist had to call someone speaking in Russian to make the payment which was very sketchy, and something I've never experienced before. The other bad news was they wouldn't take all of my Groupons. They said I would have to reach Groupon to get a refund and of course Groupon said there was no refund unless it was authorized by USA Vein Clinic. The bottom line is I spend about $379 for a treatment that didn't work, was rather painful, oh and I bought their full length compression leggings for $60. I walked out with no receipts. I followed the instructions exactly, I even continued to wear the compression socks after the suggested time, I just to be sure. I have called USA Vein Clinics and complain about the ineffective treatment.

Glad my boyfriend was there to speak up and help the situation. Well within the months I get promoted causing me to change my medical coverage so I fill my RX at my new pharmacy. My pharmacists recommends a higher dosage and tries to contact the offices. So I get a call (x6) and a email stating that I cannot unless I see her again. Why would I want to do that?!?! I have never had a good expierence with a doctor. So I say okay and let my pharmasist know. I continue to get a call at 9am this morning I answer the call loaded with attitude saying to stop sending 'requests' for rx refills. I do not need refills I still have refills. This was only notices to let them know that I am refilling. Isn't it law? She continues to give me attitude. I tell her my expierience with the doctor and that I have already talked to her. I then tell her she is very unprofessional and I don't appreciate the disrespect. She tells me that she is not rude. I say, "Oh no??? Review this recording with your boss and you tell me then.." She tries to not give attitude but i can hear the eye rolls. I understand you are mad that I am no longer seeing Group Health and this is why your mad. But really? If any of my employees ever acted like that I would not tolerate it. I am baffled to say the least.

Front receptionists and medical staff (including the lab folks upstairs) are always polite and (generally) efficient. I've never had to wait long in the waiting room for my appointments, with one exception, when I waited for 45 minutes for a speciality appointment and was finally ushered into the example room without apology or noting my long wait (that doctor is no longer there). Their facility at Northgate is nothing fancy, but it's comfortable. Parking is easy and free On the downside, my last request for a dermatology appointment was refused, as they had no available appointments for months. This was not an easy pill to swallow and I'm very upset Dr. Greenly didn't take these steps in the first place. your health should be in the care of your providers not a guessing game of what they think it is. order the test for your patients.
