His questions about my medical history and current health were thoughtful and specific rather than routine or generic. What impressed me most was the thoughtfulness of his clinical judgment--his questions clearly reflected a careful effort to understand the full picture of my health. His manner was relaxed, professional, and genuinely caring, and I left the appointment feeling confident that my health is in very capable hands. Since I fractured the right kneecap two years ago in a previous fall, I wanted to get X-rays at Northgate. The appointing person told me that KP had recently banned walk-in X-rays and now required one have an in-person appointment with a doc to see if the patient is worthy of getting X-rays. The new rule is that walk-ins are banned from getting X-rays. A patient has to make an appointment to see a doctor BEFORE X-rays. This makes no sense at all. In the past, my doctor would order X-rays and meet with me later to discuss the results. This is totally backwards. KP also recently banned patients from being able to reply to a doctor's message on My Chart. KP keeps coming up with new ways to keep patients away from practioners, in order to increase revenue flowing to its obscenely-overpaid KP CEO, Gregory Adams. I like my doctors a lot but I don't like spending hours per week fighting with the mindless KP bureaucracy to get care. It's exhausting, particularly whe one is 75 and dealing with multiple health issues.

Somehow they have a Seattle ZIP code. I found this clinic after seeing their ad in The Stranger. I have been suffering from severe issues in my legs that I won't go into details about for privacy. I've been searching for help and thought I would try this clinic. I did research about them and watched many testimonials on their website. Learned that the first appointment is a free consultation with an ultrasound then visit with the doctor who would give a diagnosis and treatment plan. I was impressed with the fact that they texted me a reminder with the address ahead of time and also the morning of the appointment. The receptionist and also the ultrasound tech were professional and kind. Dr. Cahn was honest, fully informative, genuine and kind. I've been dealing with medical hardships for 17+ years, and he's only the third doctor I've encountered that has all of these attributes. I highly recommend him. I'll do an update review after my treatments. The doctor didn't guarantee anything and didn't have the god syndrome; he told me the procedures may work, we'll have to see. However, having someone be real with me and actually know how to help me is refreshing and better than a doctor pretending they will cure me. No idea who the dude is in the pictures; not Dr. Cahn. My pharmacists recommends a higher dosage and tries to contact the offices. So I get a call (x6) and a email stating that I cannot unless I see her again. Why would I want to do that?!?! I have never had a good expierence with a doctor. So I say okay and let my pharmasist know. I continue to get a call at 9am this morning I answer the call loaded with attitude saying to stop sending 'requests' for rx refills. I do not need refills I still have refills. This was only notices to let them know that I am refilling. Isn't it law? She continues to give me attitude. I tell her my expierience with the doctor and that I have already talked to her. I then tell her she is very unprofessional and I don't appreciate the disrespect. She tells me that she is not rude. I say, "Oh no??? Review this recording with your boss and you tell me then.." However, upon arrival I was informed that there was no such appointment and that the doctor wasn't even in. That nothing was sent to me about a cancellation was bad enough, but what truly made my blood boil was the offer to reschedule my appointment . . . FOUR MONTHS later! I declined. (What should have transpired: Offer an appointment within the next week, even if it meant staying open a bit later.) Fearing I had made a mistake with the date, when I got home I checked the report from my primary care physician (also with PMC, at the Lynnwood location), which listed future appointments. Sure enough, I had the correct date and time, and PMC had it down in its records. Browsing through the previous reviews here, I am apparently far from the only one who has experienced this sort of contempt for the client. My advice to anyone reading this: Look somewhere else for your health care.
