It is nearly impossible to through to the office for questions regarding post-surgical symptoms, so much so that I have had to go to my primary care provider when I experienced concerns with post-operative symptoms. The team will not return voice mails, and fails to offer clear guidance on post-operative protocols. I have been fortunate to have a strong care team through my primary care provider, sports medicine physician, and physical therapist, but I would be extremely reluctant to recommend this office. I have been fortunate only to have a few post-operative symptoms, but I would be extremely concerned for any patient having difficulty with their recovery to expect sufficient follow up care from this office. Please consider carefully.

This is a placeholder until I type out another banger lambasting Keem for being a terrible surgeon. Keem told me my artificial disc migrated - in actuality, a team of Virginia Mason neurosurgeons investigated, and found the disc was installed in the wrong place (which took a while to diagnose, as Keem refused to release intra-operative imaging for close to a year). Entire steps of my surgery were skipped. And he lied to my face about it - and to the Polyclinic ... just before mysteriously leaving his cushy position as their sole spinal surgeon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Keem is a lazy, incompetent butcher. I still experience daily pain and take daily pain medications after what he did to me as a young athlete. He mysteriously vanished from the Polyclinic after multiple government investigations of my surgery, including a winning ruling by the Washington state AG's office because Keem was double-paid by both me and my insurance, and his office said I'd have to sue him directly to be reimbursed. He's corrupt, and a liar. After some time floating around, it appears he's been hired by Swedish. They should be ashamed of themselves - I reached out directly to share the results of my surgery. Clearly, Swedish doesn't care about the longevity of their patients, or keeping them safe, functional, and pain-free. Keep in mind that this man has a long and extensive history of "complicated" surgeries, as well as kickbacks into the millions from the manufacturer of the only artificial disc he installs. (They also cover fusion equipment, etc.) I could find no other surgeon who only uses equipment from one company ... let alone ones paid by them on the side. More corruption to the absolute core. More coming. I have other reviews for him in my profile, including one in which I caught him leaving himself a fake positive review. Don't be fooled by this slimy, unctuous guy who has a long history of leaving his patients immediately post-op to go get paid by Medtronic while they suffer through permanent and life-changing complications. Expect a PA to see you for your first post-op appointment (dangerous and insidious scope creep, going against all advice of the American Medical Association), and expect them to misread your imaging and gaslight you about your pain because they have no idea what they're talking about. This is an established pattern of Keem's. If Keem has 5,000 haters, I'm one of them. If Keem has 1 hater, it's me. If Keem has 0 haters, it's because his rotten surgery finally killed me Lmaoooo. I'm 52 and totally understand the complications and risks with this type of surgery. I felt what could go wrong went wrong. The problem with a lot of people is they do not understand that when something goes wrong, almost all of the time it has nothing to do with the surgeon performing the procedure. Things just happen. Dr. Keem has always been professional and straight forward with me as well as the staff that works around him. I knew the risks and accepted what happened as part of that but Dr. Keem is great. I'd go to him again (this was my second procedure with him...the first being 7 years ago). The staff at the surgery center was amazing. All of them were great compared to my previous visit. I'd like to give a huge shout out to all of those who cared for me but the one that stood out the most was Morgan. She seemed so much of a real person than a robotic nurse that i had experienced with my previous surgery. She was easy to talk to and seemed relatable to my life experiences. Dr. Wagner is great with diagnosis and has a calming bedside. In terms of stem cell treatment, I had my left hip done and while it took a good 6 months for the treatment to start reducing pain within a year I was like brand new. He never guarantees results carefully pointing out that while his success rate is very good some treatments don't work. And be careful getting counter advice from surgeons. There is big money in hip/knee replacement and the last thing they want is for some non-invasive treatment to cut into their cash cow.

He made a diagnosis of possible blood clots and sent me for some scans. He was correct my left leg had some blood clots. Prescribed Eliquis and will do a follow up in a month. I had a severe limp and I now can walk normally. I've never had a problem getting a timely appointment. This time I called 8am and was able to see Dr. Wagner at 11am. Can't recommend Dr Wagner enough.

Swedish Ballard e.r. diagnosed some (but not all) of the breaks and had me follow up with dr ruhlman. getting an appointment was easy and they got me in very quickly. for my first visit I chose the Wallingford location, which is very easy to find and access. i arrived approx 10 mins before my appt time, was checked in right away, and was brought back before my official appt time even began! the nurses were friendly and made me feel very comfortable. once i was in the room and all of my vitals were taken, i waited maybe 5 mins for dr ruhlman to see me. he's nice, thorough, has amazing credentials, and found another broken bone that the e.r. had missed and since it was the one causing me the most pain, I almost started crying with relief. he laid out my plan for healing and gave me realistic expectations. the next follow up was in the ballard office and everything there was also smoothe. my only complaint is that sometimes when i've called with a question, i got into a looiiing wait on hold before talking with a human.

I was referred to him by one of his associates, another doctor in the practice who had done my knee surgery. I have had a very unusual occurance in my right hand in the past few weeks. My ring finger is quivering/shaking all the time and it inadvertently completely closes (bends) without me having control of it. It has happened four or five times and I just watch it. Also, I am losing control of my grip on the right hand, feeling less strength in the hand. Lastly, there is a slightly swollen area in my right wrist that is not in my left wrist. Dr. Pang walked in and I told him all of this while holding out my hand to him. His immediate remark was "I have no idea what that is". Full stop. I actually burst out laughing and told him I'd never heard a doctor say that. He said "I'm just being honest". He did not touch me or my hand and repeated that he didn't know what it was and if it got worse to come back and with that he was GONE. He was in the room less than 90 seconds. They give you earplugs and also play some music through earbuds so you can relax and not hear the loud noises during the scan. They will keep in touch at all moments through a microphone and window. It will last approximately 40minutes but it will depend in the body part to treat. Now, if you need a shoulder MRi, you will also need a Doctor to inject a contrast fluid in your joint. It won't hurt because they use a numbness liquid first ;) So be sure you are going to be in good hands :) Be sure to bring shorts and tank top. No metal. Not even your ring (I was able to feel something with it).

Also, their doctors seem to work whenever they feel like it- not regularly, you won't develop a relationship with any of them. The whole system is very impersonal- it's a very disorganized place. It represents the money you pay to be a part of it, cheap. 100%. If you have a choice, don't do Kaiser, you will regret it.

I am a year over due in posting this - I would never go to Dr Reed. without my consent it what I…read morethought to be a routine bunion surgery, Dr. Reed broke my foot in 2 places. This alone now puts me with two additional foot issues that I did not have before. I came in with a bunion and concerns over flexion in my toe as I am a very active athlete. My concerns were so as not to cause on going other issues with gait, structure and balance. I came out of the first surgery with him recommending a second surgery to improve the flexion that he had made worse after the first... well after 2 surgeries and over a year to 'recover' I have basically NO flexion, swelling and chronic pain... I had to get rid of a substantial portion of my shoes - may pairs of which were comfortable as my foot is so swollen that I will not fit into the toe of several pair. I spent thousands of dollars *(not reimbursed by insurance) on Sound therapy and acupuncture at his suggestion that it could help - it DID NOT. Frustrated everyday since & now left with a lifetime of issues.
