Munson tuned them perfectly for the frequency deficit in both ears and the follow-up appointments have been great!

We are very grateful to Anna Mamiya and the team at PAC for helping our daughter! Her condition made everyday life for her very stressful and painful. It impacted pretty much every aspect of her life and determined what we could do as a family. We are now able to eat dinner as a family again and go out in public to loud spaces - like the mall, Costco, etc. School has become much easier. The treatment does not cure misophonia, but it does teach her brain that the trigger sounds are not something that it needs to react strongly to and get away from. Yes, chewing sounds will always be annoying, but there is no strong emotional response anymore. I highly recommend anyone dealing with misophonia or hyperacusis to have a consultation with Anna Mamiya. She explains the science behind the treatment and what can be achieved. It all lined up with what I had already learned about the conditions so it made sense to have my daughter get the treatment. I am so glad we did! Life is so much easier now for her and us!

She was incredibly thorough and took time to explain to me what she was doing and what my results meant. I didn't feel rushed and felt like my options were clearly explained. The craziest thing is that when I went to pick up my new hearing aids, she forgot to give me the cable for the charger. I didn't realize this until she showed up at my house that evening to drop it off. That's someone who takes their responsibilities seriously and cares about their patients. Follow ups have been super helpful in adjusting the aids to my needs. Highly recommended.

She is meticulous in her hearing examination and unlike Costco who tests your hearing with a single manufacturer's high quality hearing aide, Dr Ellis will test you on FOUR high end hearing aides from separate manufactures. She has found from years experience that there are four highest quality hearing aide manufacturers. Interestingly individual patients will hear better using a hearing aide from a single manufacturer. This can only be determined by objective detailed testing of 4 different hearing aides to find your best available hearing aide. In my case the Costco Hearing aide I was using was useless If you have significant hearing difficulties, I urge you to consult with Dr Sandra Ellis. I assure you that you simply can't do better!

I've seen Dr. Ellis for both balance issues and hearing issues and I stand by my opinion that she is one of the smartest people I've ever met. Her partner Dr. Setzer is of equally high caliber. While so many specialty clinics are being gobbled up by corporations, Seattle Hearing and Balance Center stands as an independent jewel. I can't recommend them highly enough.

That was inspiring because the last thing a musician/music teacher needs is to be deaf...partially or otherwise! My ear had a tube taken out and then it failed to heal properly - my eardrum now had a hole in it that made it impossible for me to sing or do music anymore. I couldn't even go to shows or movies without horrible pain and tinnitus in my ear. I was also despondent about the fact that I could not dive in the water anymore either. Being an avid swimmer who loved the water dearly, that was blow to me as well. It seemed like the two things that I loved to do most were suddenly taken away from me abruptly and I was heartbroken. Dr. Hill's kind words gave me hope. I eventually got a tissue graft on my damaged ear by a good surgeon and most of my hearing has indeed been restored. Dr. Hill gave me a hearing test after my recovery from the surgery indicating that the hearing in my recently repaired ear had improved greatly and he explained exactly where I stood in relation to hearing pitches and how it would relate to my profession. He was very knowledgeable and encouraging about my ear problem. He had special ear protective devices made for me allowing me to hear on music gigs without damaging my ears. He also had earplugs made for me to wear in the water so I could go swimming again, something that I absolutely love to do. Dr. Wuth, another doctor there, was great too and he has given me hearing tests in the past as well. If you are suffering with hearing loss and/or tinnitus, Seattle Audiology Associates are a good place to get help with hearing issues.

I went to AudioNova on the advice of my primary care doctor. I'm glad I did. The care I received in this office was outstanding. Friendly office staff and an excellent technician, who really knows her stuff, led me to choose the Phonak Infiniti model. The technician spent a lot of time reviewing options before we chose this model. She told me about the previous model and the improvements they made with this release. Even though I could have gotten the previous model for no out of pocket, I chose the current model, with a new chip, for a reasonable out of pocket price. The result has been great. The hearing aids are virtually invisible, Bluetooth enabled, charge on my nightstand (no batteries!) and have really helped my hearing. TV volume is down, my reliance on subtitles is greatly diminished, my hearing in crowded places is enhanced and, on my daily walks, I've noticed I pick up what passers by are actually saying, not a garbled mess. AudioNova seems to take after the sale service seriously. I had a follow up to fine-tune sound amplification, I'm tasked with bringing them in every four months for cleaning and the office has a daily drop-in hour for questions, adjustments and the like. I can heartily recommend AudioNova if you, like me, want to enhance your audio acuity.

This clinic has deteriorated very badly since December 2020. Very unfortunate to have a great neighborhood medical practice run into the ground like this. Switching to online care with Plushcare. Used them after the Swedish nurse gave me bad info and they were great. Fast, responsive, informed and responsive. I rated them 5 stars!
