I had one spring bad and they replaced both and took my good spring with them which makes me wonder if I didn't get someone's used spring. I knew it was a spring because we had them replaced before and you could see it but they wouldn't give you an estimate until they got there. I'm not a fan of being at someone's mercy.

My experience with Suburban Door was frustrating from start to finish. They had no-shows on the scheduled installation day, and they even ordered the wrong-sized doors after taking three separate measurements. To make matters worse, the ProVia screen door frames arrived damaged. Instead of standing behind the product and resolving the issue, I was told by ProVia that the damaged frames could simply be "touched up." Who wants to pay for brand-new screen doors that already need repairs before they're even installed? Suburban Door then had me meet directly with the manufacturer to point out the damage and essentially plead my case. Isn't that what I hired Suburban Door to handle? I am **their customer**, not the manufacturer's. I wasted countless hours, took time off work, and dealt with unnecessary stress over what should have been a straightforward installation. No customer should have to go through this experience when purchasing new doors for their home. I would not recommend Suburban Door based on my experience.

I left more than 10 messages and even one recently after he posted his disingenuous response and he never called us back. Then the technician came and said $249 per spring total $498. I was in a hurry so OK whatever. After it's all done, he said adding $99 installation fee to it, the total price + tax is $646.80. Does it sound like a scam to you!? I know the price went up but a few years ago when people quote me a similar job say $300 and that's the final price. Just be aware about it before you rejecting others with quotes higher than $299. $299 seems like a good price but people use it to trick you into rejecting other honest businesses.
