Ole lady and I rented a whip and drove from Edinburgh airport to the Highlands and stopped here for a "late lunch"... on the approach in to town I noticed a cruise ship anchored with a tender ferrying the masses to and fro the town, and thought to myself "uh ohhh""
***if you ever see a cruise ship where you are tourist-ing, stay far-far away*** just a recommendation, but I like to avoid that type of mass humanity.
So two of the spots we tried to go to for lunch were already swarming, full, and packed with cruise shippers...
We stumbled across this place which was set off the main drag, beat and path (human nature keeps you on the mainline, if you stray from human nature you will find cool, secluded stuff)
So we came here, and got a table.
The restaurant and bathrooms were sparkly clean (which i liked a lot).. the place felt brand new, still smelled new.
We split a pizza and it was "A-Okay"... Not the best, but good enough, and good for the time, situation.
I did appreciate the cleanliness and layout of the joint. read more
