The barre classes can be intense, but the instructors always make a point to say listen to your body. If you need to stop, just take a break and go back into it when you can. The yoga classes have been great. I love Alyson's classes, especially the energy medicine class. Very restorative. I have my own mat, but tend to come straight after work and just use their mats. There is a changing room that can be used to change into workout clothes. The staff is engaging, the location is nice with lots of parking (same parking lot as Ken's, but in the back of the building to the right), the pricing for the class cards is reasonable, and the studio is clean and inviting. What more could you ask for?

I have watched my body transform and it continues to get leaner and stronger the longer i stick to a routine. I mainly go to classes by TK and Taylor but all the instructors are highly skilled. TK is extremely upbeat and innovative instructor and truly encourages everyone to just try their best and the results will happen and Taylor reminds me that I always have it in me to make it through until the end of the class. I love this place and can't recommend it highly enough.

The instructors Susan, Donna, Sarah, and now Liz are motivating, kind, and very tuned in to where you are at in your work out. Extremely knowledgeable instructors keep everyone motivated to work out with fun music and frequent routine changes. Class pace is quick and energizing, with lots of cardio, unlike some barre classes I've tried where you just ambiguously tuck your pelvis for a while. The studio has a cozy feel and is also a really functional space that doesn't get overcrowded because advance booking is required. Classes are definitely challenging (esp barre power) but the instructors always give examples of how to modify so that people of all fitness levels can succeed. Two years later, and I still love Barre 44. The new studio space is super-airy and light, but still manages to feel cozy and inviting. With the recently-added trampoline cardio class, good luck getting rid of me!

The class itself was more crowded than what I'm accustomed to in New York and I found myself bumping into my neighbor a couple times which was uncomfortable. Imo they would really benefit from reducing the class sizes by 5-10%. I was also a little frustrated by the conflicting info on their website which said in two different places that all equipment was provided, and then separately that you were responsible for bringing your own mats and props. As it turns out, equipment IS provided, but that should really be updated for clarity's sake. All in all, a good and fun workout and I'll be back, but some frustrations with the studio as a whole.

From a classic to an Empower or Reform class, I am challenged every single day and I appreciate that each studio changes their routine frequently. I have had some issues with my knee and as such have had to stop going recently. The customer service team worked with me to pause my account indefinitely so that by the time I come back, I won't be paying any additional fees or increased payments. They respond promptly to concerns, and are always apologetic if something goes wrong. I've never been worried about feeling heard with them. The location itself is very convenient, and has great hours. They have classes ranging from 6am to the evening, which I really appreciate! It's such a cute place, and is always sparkling clean. Basically I worked with a trainer, I got measured once at the beginning. I went in 1-2 (usually once a week) and the workout was just too much for me but I did what I could. I got a phone call or email from my trainer saying "oh this was your last session today so you can let me know if you want to re-sign, etc" My first response was "I never even got measured to see how I did", no response. Fast forward, after writing my review, I got a voicemail from the owner...so nice. Can we do something, I will give you a refund. I said I will not take a refund but I will reschedule with a different trainer. I took the review down. Well my friends, after it got taken down I didn't hear from her. I sent her emails (which I still have) which I would say is about 6. So I'm sorry but the review goes back up. I would NEVER go to this place again. She got the review down but never kept her end of the bargain up.

I found a introductory package on line that was very affordable and did not needed much more then a phone call and showing up to the class that included basic steps one on one class a group class and a practice party that they organize every friday. When I walked to a studio I was very shy and did not wanted to interrupt the class that was in progress. But the teachers noticed me at the door and waved me in. First impression was wow this place is beautiful and staff was very friendly from the beginning. They asked me what dancing I have done and what would I like to learn since I tried the tango before that's where I started. Now I am taking 4 classes a week since May and have advanced many levels. I highly recommend this studio as they really have great teachers and the atmosphere is just so relaxing and inviting. It became my place to destress after a day of working in the OR as a PA.
