The barre classes can be intense, but the instructors always make a point to say listen to your body. If you need to stop, just take a break and go back into it when you can. The yoga classes have been great. I love Alyson's classes, especially the energy medicine class. Very restorative. I have my own mat, but tend to come straight after work and just use their mats. There is a changing room that can be used to change into workout clothes. The staff is engaging, the location is nice with lots of parking (same parking lot as Ken's, but in the back of the building to the right), the pricing for the class cards is reasonable, and the studio is clean and inviting. I checked out Raquel's website and read her bio. I found it cool that she's a mom of a young child b/c as a new mom I've been working on finding time to fit fitness into my hectic schedule. We signed up for the 5:30 am class through the Mindbody app. I've used Mindbody in the past and it makes sign up, cancelling (if necessary), and receiving reminders very easy so I'm glad Raquel uses it. There's a parking lot in front of the building which is always nice. When we arrived there were a few others going to the class also arriving and they were kind enough to hold the door for us. Raquel was running a few minutes late but the front desk girl and a few of the regulars already knew to start warming up and they lead us in doing so. When Raquel arrived we got right into it. She was just the right mixture of encouraging and firm to keep us motivated throughout the hour long class. We did a variety of different exercises, went for runs around the studio, etc so there was no getting bored. When we felt like giving up there was someone else in the class shouting way to go or you can do this which was really awesome. The studio is well equipped and there are several before and after pictures from clients displayed which is very encouraging. Ive been to a couple of Raquel's classes by now and I've enjoyed them all. There are men and women of different ages and fitness levels in the classes and everyone sweats! I would definitely recommend Raquel's.

I enjoyed the class very much and decided to try a one month membership. I've seen attended the Saturday Boot Camp, Monday Shredded, and Wednesday Butts and Gutts. They offer a few classes each day (early morning class on weekdays, two evening classes, and a few morning weekend classes). They have a large loft space that can fit a ton of people (no worries about not getting into a class because it's full). There's a variety of different people--ages, genders, fitness levels and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Easy parking in the large lot across the street. They have a variety of membership offerings and group ons right now if you want to give a try. Come spring and summer, they offer workout classes in the park which is pretty cool. Would recommend for anyone looking to try a new fitness regimen!

Although Samadhi's is some distance from the closest highway exit, it's easy to get to and is located in a spacious plaza with plenty of parking. Personally I prefer heated and very hot yoga. Though I find them fun and engaging, the only classes that provide that type of heat are the "vigorous" classes. All other classes are room temperature, so dress accordingly. Honestly, consider taking as many classes as you can. Find what challenges you. For first-timers and/or beginners, FRET not! There are a number of classes catered to your needs. Even though there are two separate bathrooms, there is no changing area for men or women. This can be annoying if you're coming straight from work. Also, there aren't any showers. So depending on how sweaty you get, keep that in mind if you are looking to attend their 545 or 6am classes before work. Otherwise, the staff and instructors are very pleasant and accommodating. Oh! They always seem to offer a Groupon to first-time students for a month of unlimited yoga classes for $40 (normally $115 value) so take a look into that if you haven't already.

What I love about this studio that sets them apart from others is the variety of classes offered for all levels and types of people. Some of my favorite classes so far are: power flow yoga ( a MUST take class with instructor Bethany) , multi flow vinyasa, barre (take Kimies class!!!!), HIIT (Pattie is motivating) and low body blast. And I haven't even tried them all yet! There are a multitude of workshops that happen every month, from meditation, to restorative yoga, to yoga with your children, to focusing on healing just one part of your body. They even do ugly sweater yoga at a brewery every year! ALSO, there is a wellness studio on the second level with doctors of natural medicine, physical therapy, mental therapy. And Verbena!!
