I have a 2012 Mercedes Benz S550 that had an instrument cluster completely burned out, High Tech Mobile is one of the few companies that can code, program, and and install that software from the old component and flash everything over to the new component, without destroying the ECU or anything else related, this can only be done by experienced, knowledgeable, and highly trained techs who specialize in this, I highly recommend them over the dealership honestly there's no one else who can handle this kind of work, most independent European mechanic shops don't do this kind of work, nor do they give out any recommendations or referrals to shops that do, my car has been operating like new since and I haven't had any issues, I highly recommend this place over any other dealership, if I would have known about this place sooner I would have had them replace my CCC head unit in my 2009 BMW M6 because the first attempt the dealership did they burned it out, This place is the real deal, I'll definitely be coming back for more services in the future read more

This review is long overdue and is a bit of a rambling story. TL;DR I still owe these guys a beer and truly appreciate the effort they put into helping me. The longer story: I'd fried my ESL on a 2012 C63. Was my own fault. The motor was on its way out, so I decided to replace the motor to "buy time" for $15 and a little effort. When I eff'd that up, I bought an emulator on eBay, though not from these guys. The emulator arrived, but didn't work. Or so I thought. Now I was a bit worried. Called for some guidance and was ready to ship them my entire ignition for diagnostics when the guy says "before you do that, check these fuses." Turns out he was spot on. I had blown a fuse when trying to make the new motor work. Once I replaced the fuse, the new emulator worked just fine. I am still sending them beer. Since they're in the middle of the best southern Cali beers, I'm trying to get some of my NorCal faves to them. The fact that they took the time to help some random dude and we're humble about it was so refreshing. I have a couple other MB cars in the garage and will send my business their way when I need help in the future. read more

My 2009 C350 electronic steering lock broke. I was looking into replacing the motor inside the unit to get it working again, but I found a solution that eliminated the ESL altogether, an emulator. The only tricky thing with an emulator is that it needs to be programmed with a special connector and software in order to work with your vehicle. There is no way around this. After searching Ebay and other vendors, I found High Tech Mobile. They offered an emulator and programming, all in one. I called and they were able to answer all my questions and give me important information. These guys gave me the best price and prompt service and communication. I do not normally write reviews, but High Tech Mobile definitely deserves a solid 5 star review. Thanks again for the help and more than fair pricing during these times. read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!!!!!! I am so overjoyed with every aspect of this business! Rob attentively listened to every detail of my complicated issue, stated he thought he could help but wanted to do some research before he committed to anything. The next day he called, told me he would be able to do what i asked and quoted a price which was veey fair and we set up an appointment. He went a step beyond my request of wiping a used cluster and vin coding it to match the other modules i swapped into my car and recodex all the modules to the chassis vin of my car! I am completely satisfied! Extremely professional, friendly, and charged exactly what i was initially quoted. If you need a "new" cluster, dmw, ews, or lcm their service allows you to buy a very inexpensive part (ebay, parts dismantler, etc) amd recode it to your car. In my case, the instrument cluster is $1400 from bmw. I found one on ebay and had Rob do his magic and my total cost was less than 1/4th of what the dealer would charge. Great service. Had lost the spare key to my 1999 Boxster, and was worried what would happen if I misplaced the original. Rob arrived as scheduled, was able to make a copy, and ensured that it would work, including installing the proper electrical code on the chip in the key (which I didn't even know it had). And today after 3 hrs drove down to High Tech Mobile to meet Dustin the business owner who help my husband solved his car key and alarm problems which never could fixed at Porches dealership where we kept our vehicle there for more than a week and they couldn't done anything and charged us too much money. I have an older Mercedes and had an issue with transponder chip in the keys. The Mercedes dealer no longer makes or services these old key fobs, so thankfully I found High Tech Mobile.
