I was able to book online for today's service which was easy to navigate. The technician that came was friendly and gave a quote for the work needed prior to beginning the job. I bought a new car in mid-June and it had a ski rack on top. The key to unlock the racks have been long gone, but I still wanted to somehow remove them from my car. I went to Busy Bees in Escondido and received assistance from an employee named Marc. He was extremely helpful by getting the racks removed from the top of my car. This was my second trip to Busy Bees Escondido store. The first time was to locate a hard to find latching mechanism for a brass door on a community mailbox. Not only did they have an exact replacement in stock at a very reasonable price, but the sales person also threw in two brass screws (at no cost) to secure the mechanism to the door. The second was to repair a key fob for my 2011 Subaru Outback. Two minutes after entering the shop, the technician had disassembled and reassembled the fob, again at no cost to me. Okay, so I am updating my review to 5 stars for excellent customer service in-store from "Becca." I went in after finally having time off during their business hours (usually I don't get home until late at night, so that's why it took me so long to go back). I explained the situation to her--that I was there a few months ago when they cut a mailbox key for me. It did not work properly, and she saw the Busy Bee logo on the back of the key. She made me a new key with the original manufacturer's blank, no questions asked, and was thorough in cutting and examining it to match the original. Excellent attention to detail, excellent customer service, and she did the job right, taking pride in it. Not like the jack ass I had to deal with over the phone who wanted me to drive 50+ miles round-trip. You guys need more employees like Becca. read more
