    Espresso martini

Came here for a birthday party. Very cool spot when it comes to the rooftop lounge. We were seated immediately and had a beautiful view of the sunset! I had the espresso martini and also the shrimp tacos. Both were very good! I will say it was a smidge loud since we were outside, but nothing that would deter me from coming back.

Drinks were great! This was the best Espresso Martini that I've had in Raleigh thus far! I hate the taste of alcohol, and they really masked the taste well, but the alcohol was top shelf. I got more chocolate and Espresso which I loved! I guess Monday evenings are slow so there were was only 1 server on the rooftop, so we did have to order at the bar and carry out our drinks. I did see the manager doing more than he should, but he seemed to not mind filling in the gap if needed. The views along with the sunset were stunning

I stopped in for drinks. I've heard so many great things about this place regarding the drinks so I wanted to try it. Parking in the area is either on the street or in the nearby garage which is more convenient. The establishment located on the top floor of the hotel, so if you have too many, it'll be convenient for you to grab a room which is nice. I enjoy bourbon and whisky in the winter so I sipped on the Black Revolver which has Bourbon, coffee liqueur and some chocolate bitters in it. I certainly enjoyed it as well as my pleasant bartender. It's always nice to have a friendly, fun and engaging bartender. They make the experience so much better. I'll be returning to try some of food on the menu because I heard it's amazing. I only got an order for my brother so I can't fairly judge that BUT he raved about it so I'm excited to try it next.

Truffle Fries (but they're called Potato Wedges on the menu). 8/10

Located at the top of the hotel, this is a really cute venue, though navigating your way up can be slightly confusing. The rooftop view isn't the most scenic since it just faces the street and nearby buildings. That said, the service is excellent--the staff is so friendly! The food and drinks were average in taste, but the presentation was stunning.

Views are always great and the drinks are delicious. Service was good and I loved the ambiance; however my flatbread was burned on the bottom. I love the location, but the quality of the food has to match the vibe.

The food here was really good! The crab dip was the highlight, super tasty with lots of crab lumps, which we loved. The fries were also great, crispy and flavorful. The menu is a bit on the shorter side, but we mainly came for the view, and it didn't disappoint, even with the rain, it was still really nice to look at. Our waiter was friendly and quick, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. This is a great spot for a cozy date night or even a casual business meeting. The vibe is relaxed but still nice. We'll definitely be coming back for more! P.S. we went on a Thursday so parking was pretty easy !

Ambience was sooooo cozy and intimate. We had an amazing girls dinner. The drinks were great for the winter season. Highly recommend the Flannel Season and Say When. The steak was well prepare and the pizza was very tasty. Only downfalls were it was a bit hard to find the place and the apple tartine was not good at all. But the dulce de leche and peach gelato were to die for.

Food service and ambiance all receive 10s. The atmosphere was very chill and calming. The food was delicious and served at the perfect temp. The prices weren't even bad for a hotel restaurant. There's an outside bar and seating area with fire pits and last night had a dj. I would return to try something new.

Extremely beautiful view of Raleigh skyline. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating. Had the shrimp salad and crab dip and it was delicious. Finally the variety of drinks were amazing. A must when visiting Raleigh downtown.

The views are cool. Even after dark. The service was great. And the food, was so good. My sister got the donut chicken and waffle. I just got fries. But it was great.

This was my first experience at High Rail and I absolutely enjoyed it. My friends and I had our quarterly ladies dinner here. The service was prompt and our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. We requested a list of the mocktails being that none of us were drinking alcoholic beverages and to our excitement, they had a menu for those drinks. The House Spritz was very refreshing for a hot day. I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was jumbo and prepared perfectly. My friends had the Citrus and Roasted Beet Salad with steak. They both cleared their plates. We ate outdoors in the shade. The breeze and view was especially nice as the sun set. The lighting in the restaurant is very elegant. I'll be returning.

High Rail is a rooftop bar located in Seaboard Station. We dined in here for Mother's Day and had a good experience. My mom and I both started off with the mimosa flight for $20 because one mimosa was $13...so that was a no brainer and we split the crab dip. For our meals we all ordered from the specials menu. It was the chicken and waffles for me and the crab cake benedict for my husband and mom. I also tried the 24 carrot gold cocktail. We liked the food and drinks. I could see this spot being slow at capacity luckily it was not too busy when we visited.

Attended for 2025 Triangle's Restaurant Week, although our sever knew nothing about a prix fix menu dedicated for this. Was served an ice cold glass of water that tasted a bit strange in my opinion. ( I have a whole home filtration system installed home) I guess all water this isn't from my house or a bottle tastes as such. The ambiance is beautiful. The menu is simple. I ordered a pizza. It tastes good, nice presentation. The restroom is small, only 2 stalls. There's also an unusual smell in this restaurant, I can't place my nose on it. It was a decent experience, but I have no plans on returning Unika B. & Co.

With little signage the space feels like a natural speakeasy. It's unpolished enough to feel a little sleazy, yet polished enough to never feel dirty. In other words, it has character, and plenty of it. The bartenders were fantastic: knowledgeable, talented, and happy to chat about the spirits behind the bar. Whether you're a serious whiskey enthusiast or just looking for a well-made cocktail, you're in good hands. Being open later than most Raleigh bars makes Foundation one of the city's go-to late-night options, but that shouldn't overshadow what it really is........a great bar at any hour. The atmosphere, the drinks, and the people behind the bar make this a place worth seeking out whether it's your first stop of the evening or your last.

I had their basil smash, which was refreshing, and the Manhattan--bold with a warm, spicy profile. Pleasant surprise to see Michter's as the special of the night, and it was excellent with smooth caramel and vanilla notes. Service started off a little hands-off since we ordered at the bar, but picked up toward the end when staff came by to check in. Drinks were high quality without being overpriced, and the vibe is relaxed--not at all pretentious. You can definitely come casual. If we had more time, we would've stayed longer or come back for another round.

This place was absolutely amazing. All I can say is, we made a lot of happy noises while eating,…read moreand there were plenty of "oh my God" moments at the table. From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.

Seriously, if you can't find a pour you like here, you may just need water instead. Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived. Overall though? Still a solid meal, strong whiskey program, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out if you're in Raleigh looking for a bourbon-forward dinner spot.
