If you have high expectations and want an installation that you literally cannot find one single flaw with, here's your guy. Where to start? At the beginning ... I'm handy myself and do a lot of work on my own home, however, I wanted to mount a television above/in front of my fireplace but power and cable came into the room way off to the side and I just didn't feel comfortable with tackling this one myself. I reached out to many installers via Yelp, all with good reviews, received many quotes, everybody but Karim immediately said they'd have to bust into the drywall to run the cable ... well if that's the case I can easily do so myself. After reaching out to Karim he got right back to me, was extremely sharp and knowledgable, asked all the right questions and told me how he could do it right ... hiding all wires, WITHOUT busting into the drywall (which would be a separate costly expense to patch). Frankly, a really creative solution. One conversation and it was obvious that this was the guy to hire. He was extremely prompt with answering all of my questions via email and with scheduling a time to come out for the install. My install was tricky, involving lots of weird angle snaking and even running conduit outside and back into the house. On inspection day Karim quickly inspected the install location, succinctly described what he was going to do and asked if I had any questions or concerns. As he started, it was a good sign that he protected his workspace with a furniture pad and even created a 'catch bin' just under his cut-in locations that collected the debris and drywall dust ... totally pro move, this guy works clean, clearly cares and is proud of his work. Okay, I am totally OCD, anal, whatever you want to call it; everything has to be center / square / done right, blah, blah, blah. I didn't have to say a word, Karim is simply a pro, the install is PERFECT. Everything was done cleanly and correctly - literally couldn't be better. The icing on the cake ... Karim's price was competitive compared to all other quotes I received, AND his was the only one that accomplished what I needed without lazily busting into the drywall. If I had to come up with one negative it would be the material cost (separate from labor) which on my job came to $100. I'm familiar with the cost of the materials used and it was a pretty big mark up. However, the quality of the work is exquisite and worth every penny. Once I realized the the high level of work that Karim provides I asked him if he does other types of installations. I am now considering having him back to design / install an fairly large outdoor sound system around my pool and putting green. This is your guy, you won't be disappointed. read more

Two years ago, my wife and I moved into a small hillside house in the Hollywood Dell, inheriting a somewhat vintage surround system in the living room that was in poor repair and lacked the proper connections for modern flat screen TV. I found a local installer with good reviews who managed to make the system work with our Samsung TVs, but the whole setup was iffy and it was almost impossible to trust that anything like the Roku would consistently work. Six months ago, we decided to upgrade and, having read nothing but raves on Yelp, I put in a call to Karim. We just finished a remodeling project and the workers unplugged all of our devices from from both the devices and the television. In addition, we had a rat's nest of wires and cables coming out of our wall under the television. Some were there before we moved in 10 years ago!
