We just finished a remodeling project and the workers unplugged all of our devices from from both the devices and the television. In addition, we had a rat's nest of wires and cables coming out of our wall under the television. Some were there before we moved in 10 years ago! We were having a hard time getting everything back up and working and cleaning up the tangled mass. Karim responded quickly to my request and quoted me a price somewhere close to the middle of other quotes. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and took all the junk away with him. We needed longer HDMI cables which he provided at a reasonable cost. He even did a few extra things to improve the picture on my television and he organized the entertainment center so that it looks neat and clean. I will be using Karim for any future home theater needs and recommend him highly! read more

This is the 6th tv installation that I've had High Def perform. Quick & clean and far below Best Buy & Frye rates.... as reasonable as the cut rater guys but this guy is clean, courteous and nice..... and fast. read more

High Def Solutions - Awesome, dependable and reasonably priced; like is complete. Have this guy install your next tv. - Home Theatre Installation Near Me - Northridge, California

Karim is the best. Hands down. He showed up and gave me a more than fair quote. When I asked how soon he could do the install he said he just had to grab some additional cabling and he could do it later that day. He was back within the hour, and just one hour later, the job was done. He was communicative about what he was doing and why the whole time and gave me options throughout. Couldn't imagine a better (or nicer) guy for the job. I have his number saved for next time. read more

I was recently asked to upgrade my company's aging Conference Room A/V equipment (Projector, screen, in-wall wiring). Karim helped expertly!! He asked all the right questions and installed a HD projector system for which I am still getting compliments weeks after the install!! He also was able to fix 3 broken wall plates which several vendors have tried to repair but failed -- and when he was done there was no clue that any installation work had been done. Very professional and tidy work!! One of the things that impressed me most was Karim's communication. It's definitely a strength. While procuring equipment, Karim's supplier was out of a particular model we had been looking at, so he called me to get my approval to substitute out a different model. Whether it's by text, phone or email Karim won't let you ever feel like you've been abandoned even if the job can't be done in a single visit. High Def will be the first call I make when I have needs in the future!! Thanks again!! read more

Karim and Michael are the BEST of the best in this type of business. I spoke with Karim and he had Michael come to my house the next day for a in home quote. I got a bid from Michael and had two other bids the following day. We choose them for the project because of how well Michael presented himself and knowledge of the trade. As far as price all were in the same ballpark. On the install day they where very courteous and were on time and did the job on time. They cleaned up after the job was completed and Karim and myself went thru the work they did which was AWESOME, I promise you you guys will not be disappointed with them. A++++++ read more

I can't say enough great things about this company. One of the best if not the best install job I've ever had. They're a little pricey but you get what you pay for and these guys were totally worth it. Hard to find companies these days that care about the work they do but these guys cared and made sure I was happy with everything. Highly recommend on every level. Thanks read more

Holy cow, our system was mess: The original installer complicated everything and then rats chewed through the wires and cables. My phone call happened to catch the guys on the road and within 30 minutes, they repaired, detangled and simplified our system to better than new. The cost was reasonable and the service even better. Nice guys. I'm brutal on Yelp, but this one was easy. Five stars, no question. read more

I recently moved into a new home and found High def Solutions on Craigslist. A little skeptical as with Craigslist there's many pros and cons, however finding Karim was definitely a GREAT thing. I called him and had a conversation with him regarding the look I wanted to achieve and he sounded very knowledgeable and I knew then I wanted to give him the job. He's punctual and professional and will not feed you information that he doesn't stand behind. I am very particular about visible wires and he knew just how to give me the clean look I wanted to achieve. His pricing is fair and his energy is positive and contagious. I would recommend him time after time and trust you wont be disappointed. read more

Karim is a sure win. Outstanding quality, flexible scheduling and fair pricing. I recently changed apartment units within my building and needed someone to re-mount my 60 inch Sony television. Gave Karim a call, spoke for about ten minutes, reached a fair price and the next day he arrived within the specified time frame and mounted my television. Also, note that the wires were nicely hidden behind the wall and he installed wall plates to cover the holes. I would definitely use Karim again and recommend his services. read more

Karim is amazing! Really passionate about his job, and completely honest about what can and cannot be done. Our house has existing speakers, but no system to play music on. Karim setup a Sonos system and cleaned up the three TV's in our house. He took time to show me how to play music throughout the house through the Sonos app on my smartphone. His work is impeccable, and he is amazing to work with. He has a lot of knowledge, and is very organized. He was a pleasure to work with, will definitely hire him for future jobs! Karim was great. He installed my new TV on the wall and in ceiling speakers. Installation was very clean, professionally done and affordable. His prices are very competitive. Karim did a great job, I used his service 1 year ago, he mounted my tv and photography background in my office and I was very satisfied with his work and the price. Year later, 2 weeks ago I contacted him again, hoping that he is still in business, lucky me, he was available, and this time he worked on different projects, mounted 2 different TVs, sound system and photo studio background. He is very reliable and on time. Worked very clean, he takes his time to make his job perfect. Great price and great work. I am looking forward for future projects with him. read more

Karim came to my home, arrived on time and was very professional. He is very knowledgeable about TV installation. I asked him for a quote for a large TV install downstairs and moving the existing TV upstairs. While he was here, I asked him how my current TV picture looked. He said it was blurry and asked me to pick up the remote control. He guided me to make a few adjustments and the picture looked way better. No charge! He is very helpful and it shows the kind of person he is and the work he would perform. I have not purchased my TV's yet, but I know Karim would do a great job installing them. read more

Sent a message to a few installers 2 days ago via Yelp. Karim was on point: he messaged us straight away, came by for an estimate the next afternoon, installed everything today and was fantastic: Clean and tidy installations for two of my tv's which were both mounted over fire places including an explanation of what he was doing, how it was being done and how to use a few of the features that i asked about. Will definitely be using him for all my visual and audio needs in the future - not a single negative regarding his service! Thanks Karim! read more

Karim is extremely capable and solution oriented. He took time to explain the issue, solution, and walk through how wiring and setup work. He had good sense of both home theatre and stereophile sensibility to ensure equipment was setup for maximum face melting and great looking component mounting for room aesthetic. read more

Karim at High Def Solutions is the person you want to install your home entertainment system (period). I had the Best Buy, Magnolia folks over to give me a "consult", but wasn't really impressed with that visit. It felt very cold, canned, and expensive. Not Karim. He beat their price and feel that he did a better install than they would have done. My home's great room was prewired for surround, but the wires were in an undisclosed location in our ceiling/walls. Long story short, Karim located the wires and overcame some construction and poor design hurdles to install five speakers (3 in wall, 2 in ceiling). He also installed two outdoor speakers and an indoor volume control. Once again he smartly Macgyvered some poorly thought-out prewiring issues and found a way to make it work the way it should. What I like about him is when he encounters an issue doing what he does; he doesn't look for the easy solution, he looks for the right solution. Then he works meticulously to get it done. I know at this point you may be thinking I was paid or have some incentive to write this. Well, I wasn't and do not. His work is professional and polished. He cares about his craft and takes pride in doing a good job. Those characteristics are hard to find anywhere these days, especially at the big chain stores. Give him a shot. read more

Thanks Karim! You came on-time, were extremely professional, respectful and did an amazing job. Very pleased with his service. When I called around, everyone else sounded like they wanted to do a mediocre job. Karim was definitely the exception. I will use him in the future for all of my needs. I posted this review before he finished the job because I knew he would do a great job. read more

These guys are AMAZING! It's so difficult to find good tech / wiring guys and trust me they are the best. I have used them at my business a few times over the past few months and they are also very considerate and mindful of others which is super important as I have needed them to be here during business hours a few times. They are also very responsive. Anytime I have a question, I shoot them a text and get a response almost immediately! read more

After searching for an affordable person to mount our two televisions we were referred to High Def Solutions. Karim came out and mounted both of our tvs (after having to crawl under our house to hook up the tv for our back patio) AND he showed up on time. Karim did an excellent job installing a remote control system for my TV and audio components. He's very knowledgeable and patiently organized the jumbled mess of wires and cables that previous companies left. He was at my house for 4 hrs and the price was very reasonable. I hired Karim for a small job. I needed someone to fix and set up my a/v receiver because I couldn't for the life of me get things working (and I am a pretty tech savy person). Karim came by right away, took care of everything and even streamlined my system to be more efficient. He did it all expertly with a ton of knowledge and was very kind and helpful. It was also insanely reasonable. Been recommending him to everyone I know and will be hiring him again soon to set up my new tv. A total class act and knowledgeable hard worker. Would I recommend High Def Solutions? Oh yes! To everyone, anywhere. Karim and Michael are the best! They took the time -- and thanks to my home provider :-( -- it took quite a bit of time to do the job right. But they didn't stop until everything was perfect. They're hard working, tireless and, most importantly, Karim and Michael made sure this non-tech guy knew the ins and outs of the new system. They go above and beyond. Thank you High Def! read more
