I bought a TV and speakers recently and thought I could handle all the installation myself. But it wasn't an easy walk as I thought. I wanted it to be done in fastest way possible and of course in a good quality, so I started looking on Yelp. I found Karim and didn't regret it. He knows what he's doing for sure. And what is more important, he seems to be passionate about his work. Everything was done in short period of time with great quality. Thank you Karim! read more

Karim is the best! I recently moved and needed to have my TV mounted with hidden cables. I searched on Yelp and found "High Def Solutions" with a perfect rating. Called and Karim was available right away. He came on the day of my move and was done within an hour. I couldn't find a few cables, but luckily, he had them in his car and sold them to me at a reasonable price. The TV looks great and I am very satisfied with his work. The entire experience deserves 5-stars as he was punctual, fast and friendly. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking to mount their TV. read more

Prompt, professional and caring. Would, and will, use Karim again in the future. He was a great help.

Well where to begin, Karim has always been such a great help, he is always respectful and always works with what you have before he introduces his supply, he had an opening and he stayed until the job was perfect and it was past midnight, he is great with communication which to me is huge! He called to let me know what was going on before he arrived because of traffic and a previous job he may be a little behind which is no problem at least he will communicate because most don't and you are wondering what the heck is going on. Karim does his job to perfection, he knows what and how to do everything and won't finish until you are absolutely satisfied! He installed my 70 inch with sound bar, my 55 inch, my 48 inch and my 42 inch to perfection. I am so glad he is still continuing to knowledge himself and others regarding TV's and electronics that hook up to the TV's. Yet again another job well done. See you soon when you install all my parents TV's! read more

I highly recommend Karim! He was referred to me when I was looking for someone to clean up the nightmare of wires from my TV, stereo, DVD player, etc. Karim came in for a free consultation and offered options and was very professional. He was reliable, honest, easy to communicate with and had fair prices. Even though he was probably at my house longer than he expected, he stuck to his original quote and successfully simplified our systems for us. He took the time to explain everything and to make sure we were happy with and understood everything. His work was very clean and he even took away the old wires and equipment for recycling. We couldn't be happier and will definitely use Karim for any future needs! read more

I couldn't be happier with way my TV mount came out. I needed the TV mounted in corner and the wires hidden in the wall. I contacted Karim in the morning and he came out the very same day. The TV was installed perfectly and he took his time to make sure the positioning was exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Karim to anyone. read more

I just purchase a Samsung smart 4k television, and needed to incorporate it into my audio and video surround system using my universal remote. Karim was very knowledgable and took the time to see that the systems was not only working properly, but that I understood how to operate the system. If your system requires anything more than a simple set up, I would recommend you stay away from installers at the chain stores and get the expertise and personal attention that Karim provides. read more

I was very fortunate to have a good friend recommend Karim of High Def Solutions. He was working in Pasadena but actually came here to West Hollywood that evening. I called him to move a wall mounted flat screen TV from one apartment to another on the property. I needed the TV to be installed onto a universal stand rather than the wall and Karim was kind enough to assemble the stand and secure it to the table where I put the TV. Karim is very knowledgeable and he takes pride in his work. There is no question that he gets a 5+ star rating from me! Give him a call. You will be glad you did! Heidi A read more

I would give Karim ten stars if I had the option. Don't even bother considering anyone else. He is reliable, professional, honest, fair, patient, and friendly. He installed a smart TV for my parents using their existing surround sound system and made some adjustments to another TV so that my mom could use her hearing aids while streaming. He also cleaned up the remnants of his work, removed the boxes, and an old TV (not an easy task). I recommend him without hesitation and wish everyone had his work ethic and pleasant personality. read more

Karim is a very knowledgeable and efficient installer. He cleaned up a wiring nightmare that another company left in our establishment. He made us custom shelving, ran hidden wires and cleaned up the general area to be more manageable. He truly is a fantastic person and knows what he is doing 100%. We will be using him for all of our locations throughout Los Angeles. We have about 10-stores and more on the way and we are confident in his skills. read more

I had long suspected that my 16 year old AV receiver was not giving me the optimum sound from my more recent higher end Speakers. I also expected that anyone I would call to find that out would encourage me to upgrade to a 4k AV receiver. I called for a quote from Karim at High Def just to come out to review the receiver setting and hookups to check the settings on the receiver. He emailed me right away that he could come in 2 hours and emailed a few more times to update me on his ETA. He was right on time. He is a personable, knowledgeable young man. He explained that the equipment I have was quite adequate to give me great sound even though the receiver is old. He determined that the speakers were not in sync and proceeded to correct that. Though he acknowledged that I could upgrade to a 4k receiver, he said I would not have to... . That I have great sound now. I found him to be very honest, soft spoken, and believable in what he was telling me. The service call money was well spent. I am delighted. I highly recommend him. Thanks, Karim read more

Karim provided absolutely fantastic service. We contacted him late Sunday evening, and he was able to come out early the next morning to mount our TV. He is very professional and courteous. I would certainly use his services again and highly recommend him for your TV installation needs. read more

The previous owner of my house had it wired for surround sound. For whatever reason, when they sold it they covered the wires, patched the holes and painted. It was an 800 sq Ft room with high walls so the wires could have been anywhere. Karim came in and found each of the wires only drilling one hole for each wire even when he got no signal from two of the wires to know where they are. Very meticulous, very clean job, and he knows his stuff. Highly recommended, ended up saving me hundreds by not having to rewire. And he has the best rates out there. read more

Karim and Michael did a great job mounting my 55" Samsung TV over my fireplace. Prior to the actual installation, Karim was extremely thorough, asking me questions about the type of service I was looking for and answering all of my questions. He was very upfront about the cost of the job and there were no hidden charges the day of. On the day of the installation, Karim and Michael were very professional and did the mounting job extremely efficiently. These guys definitely know what they are doing. They even wiped down my television carefully after mounting it so that it would look pristine. Highly recommend these guys! read more

What can I say? These guys are absolutely amazing. After purchasing a brand new TV on Black Friday, I was originally going to use the stand but then decided to have it mounted on the wall. After shopping around and dealing with a few other (rude and overly expensive) vendors, I stumbled upon High Def Solutions. On the phone, Karim was extremely polite and insightful, he gave me a great quote and answered every question I had. They were able to come and see me later that same day, which was very convenient as I wanted to use my new TV ASAP. They arrived on time and I showed them the TV and where it needed to be mounted. Karim was extremely thorough and explained to me everything they were going to do. He also gave me some advice on placement and little tricks to hide the cords. He assembled the mount very quickly and had all 60 inches of it, up on the wall in no time. Once it was mounted, they even attached our Apple TV behind the screen, in order to really give the whole room a clean appearance. I really can't say enough about these guys and the job they did. Showed up the same day, did some amazing work, and did it for a great place. Can't really ask for anything else. So, if you need a TV mounted, I'm telling you, these are your guys. read more

I needed someone to check/update/remove old TWC/DrectTV cables and make sure I have OTA service to all 8 rooms/locations (test and trouble shoot AV wires). Also, to check new 65" flat panel TV and sound bar to make sure working properly. Someone who knew equipment, A/V distribution and Wi-Fi, to get what I needed working, and cleanup/remove what I didn't. I knew I was asking a lot. After checking several services rated by fellow yelpers, I contacted Karim at High Def Solutions. He was knowledgeable, professional, and understood what I was trying to accomplish. He came over with Michael to do a complete overview of the situation, and when the assessment was completed, we discussed what I needed, and he advised options for me to choose. It was a great working relationship and he really cared about what I wanted. When they returned, they completely overhauled and cleaned up my wiring/cabling, checked out all my equipment that I've accumulated over the years, and helped my decide what I needed, and what I didn't. I'm very happy with the end result, and it was a great experience working with High Def Solutions as well. If you're looking for an A/V expert, who not only knows the technology, but listens to understand what the customer wants and then delivers at a reasonable price, High Def Solutions is, well, the solution. Thanks guys. read more

Karim and Michael did an amazing job! We recently cut the cord and needed a little help working out the bugs. They moved our router, put up an outdoor antenna, and mounted 2 TVs. This required hours of work, including a climb on the roof, and crawling around in the crawl space below the house. They made sure to focus on our priorities, and got the work finished at the rate quoted. They spent considerable time making sure everything was working as it should. And, as a bonus, all work from quote to completion was done within a week, right before Thanksgiving. Thank you! read more

High Def Solutions was an awesome and timely find. I really needed some outdoor patio speakers installed and connected to my indoor multi-channel receiver and glad I found Karim. He took an early morning (7am) call and was willing to stop by later that day. After a thorough consultation, he made a recommendation that was reasonable for our situation and didnt try to oversell like similar companies that I have worked with. He installed everything the next day and provided excellent support and service. I will definitely use these guys again for any low voltage TV, speaker, etc installation.
