I bought a used pool table from a homeowner and had Kevin disassemble, deliver, and reassemble the table at my house. He did the job promptly, professionally, and at a fair price. It he also noticed that two of the rails were bad; the rubber was hard as a rock. I asked him to replace them, which he did, and he also put on new felt. Now I pretty much have a brand new 8ft table at a fraction of the cost. If we ever move, I will call Kevin again. read more

There are a lot of scammers out there, but Kevin is the real deal. An absolute straight shooter, I learned quite a lot about pool tables in the short amount of time it took him to deliver, install, refelt, and level. There may be some tables on Facebook Marketplace that look like good deals but by the time you add up additional delivery and installation fees along with refelting there's not a better deal around... and he takes care of everything including all you need to start playing right away with quality cues and balls. I would echo what others have said. In my case I was looking for a table that Kevin did not even have. With in a week I got an email from Kevin letting me know he was going to be picking up a table that might suit my needs. He sent me an email with pictures, quoted me a price and we scheduled an install four days later. Yesterday they arrived ahead of schedule and worked straight through with no breaks until it was done about an hour or so later. He discovered that I was missing some fasteners and said he would look into finding the ones I needed. Eventually I found the fasteners and he came back a week later and put it together in perfect shape. He used the 21 ounce felt, which is perfect for my needs. I have an old table that had not been used in years and wanted to have it checked over. I assumed the rails and cloth would need replacement. Honestly wished I could find the guy who did the work 10 or 12 years ago since it was brilliant but didn't know who it was. He tightened up the rails left it up to me to decide if I wanted new felt but pointed out that what was there was perfect. I was looking for a used 8 foot pool table for my basement. I called Kevin and provided him with a budget and he quickly responded with a table that would suite my needs. Delivery came less than 3 days later. His staff was able to set up the table in less than an hour and provided me suggestions on where to place the table. Kevin of Higgins Billiards Supply provided exceptional service on recovering my 9-foot pool table. Most welcome was his thorough knowledge of pool table construction enabling him to point out various problems that may develop over time, especially with the rails. With the previous company overtightening the rails, he and his excellent assistant, also named Kevin, ensured that no damage would be done to the rails when reinstalling them to the frame. Thankfully, where I thought I had three bad cushions, he demonstrated that the dead sound was caused by a small part of the cushion losing its glue from the rail. With a simple regluing of those small spots, the dead sounds disappeared. Furthermore, he advised that the cushions are very high quality and should never go bad. I saved considerable money by not replacing the cushions as I had thought was needed. It's great to work with someone that's highly professional and has integrity! Higgin's Billiard Supply was excellent and I seldom ever, ever give an excellent rating as there are always things to improve. However, I needed to move an eight ft Olhausen Pool Table from Ashburn to Woodbridge, Va. The sellers need to move the table quickly and we were in the Christmas week; they moved it morning 26 Dec. Higgin's Billiard Supply gave me a solid quote over the phone for travel, disassembly, reassembly and leveling, which I thought was a fair price. Of note, every call I attempted was answered quickly and provided excellent/honest customer service. I asked, two days prior to the move, if they could felt the table and they confirmed quickly; again, for a reasonable price. They arrived at the disassembly site, quickly and carefully disassembled the table, transported it to Woodbridge and assembled with placing the new felt. When done - the table was very nicely leveled, re-felted and perfectly situated in the room. They were completed by o/a 1100am, starting at 0800am, with leaving no mess. Then, Wyatt returned on 25 Jan, his Sunday, to make sure the table was still perfectly leveled and had no issues. I've had many things moved over my 30 years in the Army and cannot remember a single time there wasn't some issue with a move. This move had superb pre, during and post movement service. Customer service is an oxymoron for most businesses but my experience with Higgin's Billiard Supply and Wyatt specifically was excellent. Absolutely a first choice! read more
