We made a last-minute reservation on a weeknight, and my wife picked the spot--lucky me for tagging along! From the moment we were seated, we knew we were in for something special, thanks to our incredible server and host, Romer. His thoughtful, pleasant demeanor and constant smile truly set the tone for a fantastic evening.
We kicked things off with some bubbles, of course! Then came a unique and fun twist--an item on the menu called "be in the dark." I figured it meant the chef would choose some appetizers for us, but it was even better. The team not only selected four surprise appetizers, but they also had us wear blindfolds while eating! Romer was more than just a server--he became our guide, walking us through the whole experience. He even cheered us on as we navigated the blindfolded bites, asking what we thought we were eating. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.
For the mains, my wife had a perfectly cooked tuna steak with a vegetable blend and broth, while I had the pan-seared sea bass with whipped potato and seaweed. Both dishes were excellent, with every element on the plate complementing the other beautifully.
To finish the night, we opted for a playful twist on a banana split, made table-side. It didn't disappoint and was the perfect way to end the meal.
