We normally order our pizza to go (which is always hot at the time of pick up, even when I'm running twenty minutes behind on getting it, haha) but the one time we did choose to sit down, the waitress was incredibly friendly, kept our drinks very full, and was so kind to my one year old. I think it's very telling of a persons character when they can be so friendly to a child, since most restaurant employees cringe when a child walks thru the door. The food is always excellent, and it's definitely the best place to order from if you're in the mood for a specialty pizza. We will definitely continue bringing our business to Hideaway. read more

This a great pizza restaurant in a great historic building right in the center of downtown Bartlesville. I had heard they use organics whenever possible, have gluten-free choices, and will work with a customer on special orders. I can't eat cheese so I thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. Very good pizza! Great friendly and attentive staff who would go out of their way to get it right. I ordered a Apollo with no Mozzarella or Parmesan. It was outstanding without the cheese. We watched the World Cup on their huge crystal-clear LCD TVs over the bar. The bar is cool too. They used white LEDs to shine up through the bottles of beer, wine and liquor. Everything has a warm bright glow against the red brick walls. Very cool! Came out here for the first time and drove 45mins to just eat here per my wife's recommendation. Stated off my meal with Fried Mushrooms, and Garlic knots. The knots are amazing almost made me think of my New York knots, but nothing too special about the fried mushrooms. For the pizza, we had two different sauce on half and a half so that way I get to try a little bit of everything and the whole pizza was amazing. Would like to give zero stars but it won't let me! About 2:00 on Saturday afternoon gave our name upon entering. Were told short wait while cleaning off tables. Waited 10 minutes. Another group came in and were seated. Counted 8 open tables. Horrible customer service! read more

I considered having a Hideaway pizza in Bartlesville to be something special. But these last couple of times I have ordered, the pizzas just don't have a lot of ingredients on them. The crust around the edges is like 3" of no sauce or ingredients. Really disappointed. Not sure if I am going to order again. And I know. People ask, "did you call back and complain?" Was in the Ville overnight on a Sunday afternoon. This was my first visit here. The ATW pizza was very good - great crust, toppings, and very cheesy. Our table also ordered a Tulsa Hurricane which arrived without the essential BBQ sauce drizzle. The manager visited our table and replaced the pizza, so we got a two-fer. The pene alfredo and marinara were also tasty as were the fried mushrooms. They have a decent selection of craft beers as well. The service was decent to boot. Every time we've eaten here, it's been great. Wait staff is attentive, restaurant is clean & the food is very good. The ATW and bbq chicken pizzas are our favorites, and the fried mushrooms as an appetizer are the best. The only thing I haven't liked as well as the rest is the Alfredo deluxe--I didn't care for the bacon in it which I felt gave it too much of a smoky taste--but it could be just me. Not a lot to say about this specific Hideaway location as it ticked all the boxes for what I've come to expect from Hideaway Pizza. Absolutely delicious, affordably priced food, served quickly by friendly capable servers in a clean and casual space decorated with magazine clipping collages and colorful kites. Our medium hand tossed Margherita was just the thing for lunch while visiting Bartlesville. They have a relatively small downtown space but somehow privacy is not an issue and there is a lot of seating here. Parking didn't seem bad either, although we came on foot after hitting up some trails in the area. Equally appropriate for couples on a date, business, or families with young kids. Hideaway's pizza is so much better than the larger chains, in my opinion! read more

This isn't a review of hideaway as much as it's a review of Cam our "waiter". Things started off well, he was prompt to the table, polite and took our order. Then, he disappeared. For the rest of our meal we didn't see Cam. Sure he came around when it was time to pay the bill, but where was he when our glasses sat empty for the duration of our meal? We checked in with the Yelp Waitlist which was very nice. But then we got sat in a specific waitress's section whom we had had a bad experience with previously. We could then tell that she gave our table to another server, which is fine because we weren't too thrilled about her anyways. Our waitress we did end up having was great and she did a great job at including our table in her section even though we were decently far away from her other tables. My wife and I agreed that we were going to give her a really good tip! But when we got the bill, the server it was assigned to was the original waitress and not the one that had actually served us. I knew that if we used a card tip that we planning on doing, it wouldn't go to our actual waitress. So we paid without leaving a tip and then I went and talked to the manager about it. When I was talking to him, my wife noticed that our waitress and the other had gone over to our table together and checked if we had left a tip, then laughed when there wasn't any. Thankfully my wife had some cash on her and we were able to make sure that our actual waitress was compensated for her time with us. Then to end things off, I woke up the next day with a bad case of FOOD POISONING! I would like to think that it just happened by circumstance, but I can't be 100% sure that it was caused by the waitress who tried to trick us. i don't know how good other hideaway pizza places are but the one in bartlesville isn't any good anymore. if you like their pizza you don't really know what a GOOD pizza really is like. when they first opened in b'ville i have to say i was pleased with their pizzas. they have drastically gone down hill. the last few i have got have been no good and very disappointed with what i got. the pizza i got recently was very dry with no sauce on it! if they put any sauce on it, it was just a teaspoon. the crust was hard, dry, and sort of burnt and overcooked. in the past i have received pizzas that had a skimpy amount of toppings on them. it was not worth the $22 i paid. i sent a email of displeasure to hideaway and received no response back. i have to say i'm done with them. pizzas should have a nice chewy crust, ample toppings, and not overcooked. i should have taken it back but because it was a take out and it was a long distance to have to travel back downtown i just sucked it up. but no more patronizing this place again. read more

When my husband and I decided to take the long way home we never thought we would find this gem. When we walked in we were promptly greeted and seated. We had been driving a while and I went to find the restroom (it's not labeled in the main room but dont worry, the staff is so kind to direct you where you need to go) my momma always told me if the restroom isnt clean the kitchen wont be either. This is quite possibly one of the cleanest resteraunts I've ever been in. I was impressed immediately. Our waitress Kaylen came and she was such a peach!! She brought our drinks quickly, helped us decide on what to order and explained the menu to us. I ordered a bud light draft and it was the coldest beer I've ever drank!!! Our pizzas came and they were hot and fresh. You are also able to split any pizza any size in half. Specialty too!!! As a customer who lives over 2 hours away, and a new customer this was an amazing option as they have some very cool pizza choices. We got thin crusts, and they were perfect. Not cracker thin like shint louis but just the best thin crust there is around. My husband and I are so happy we happened upon Hideaway Pizza. read more

Despite that, I still love this place and think it's hands down the best pizza in town. The vibe is totally great for families too! We brought my cousin and her young son here and they gave him pizza dough to play with while we waited. I was visiting out of town for my sons World Series baseball tournament and went in because it was close to the stadium. Hideaway pizza was a really great choice. We were staying in town to head to the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile in Pawhuska the next day. We arrived to a short wait to be seated. We ordered some beers. I got the Hideaway '57 beer which they have specially made by Marshall brewing company. It was great! Also got a Little Kahuna pizza, we really enjoy having unique pizzas, and having feta cheese was a nice surprise. Also got their world famous fried mushrooms, I had never had them before, was definitely the right choice. Service was excellent, will come back next time in town for sure! read more

While traveling northwest of Tulsa, we stopped for the best pizza ever. Noted for their fried mushrooms we had to try them. With a very short wait, a heaping mound of hot crispy mushrooms were delivered to our table along with ranch dressing and salsa. It was a meal in itself. The pizza was delivered soon after. With an interesting selection, we chose to create our own. The choice of pizza crusts, sauces, meats, veges and cheeses had your mouth watering. The pizza came quickly and was so delicious. The server refilled our ice teas, brought boxes for leftovers without asking and even added extra ranch. The manager stopped by to ensure everything was good. Are here for lunch and got the Caesar salad and hot ham and cheese, yummmmy!!! The salad was the best I've had in a while. The service was fast and wait time wasn't to bad even with the busy lunch hour. The reason it gets 4 stars and not five are a couple different reasons. First, our server didn't check on us very often so we had to waved down other people to bring us stuff, which was kind of annoying. Secondly, this place was so cold that we didn't want to stay long. That sounds petty but if I'm cold... There's a problem! I'm NEVER cold! My mom and little brother were miserable and had to go outside a few time to warm up. I'll be back tho! read more
