Disappointed, the wings were not crispy and the salad did not a "zesty" vinaigrette as we looked forward to. The steakhouse pizza saved the meal, very delicious from the tender steak to the crispy mushrooms. The server was sweet and we love the exposed brick and the bright windows, however, the flies in here are numerous and ruthless. I suggest getting the fly fans for the tables or some alternative.

First night in Pawhuska and there isn't much open for dinner on Mondays!!! But we got in at PTown Pizza (owned by Ree Drummond) The Wedge Salad was good!!! The Chicken Wings were Hot and Crispy.... We got all sauces on the side and we really didn't like any of them.. we prefer the wings plain and dipped in the Ranch or Blue Cheese!!! We opted for a plain cheese pizza which was yummy!!! My drink of Jim Beam, Toasted Carmel syrup was Amazing!!! Gold Rush!!!! Tip: this restaurant is on the 2nd floor and you have to take steps. It is not handicapped accessible!!!

Located downtown on the upper level of the building. Cute exposed brick with a dining room open to the area that houses the pizza oven. The stairs leading into the restaurant seem like they could be dangerous after a few drinks, but there are handrails! There's a nice size bar, a couple smaller dining rooms, followed by a larger dining room and an outdoor balcony. We showed up a little after lunch time on a Friday afternoon and we're seated immediately. The server was at our table within moments of sitting and took our drink order. She explained the seasonal drink was a competition among the servers and she was "losing." She was very sweet about it, but I did feel pressured to try it, even though the lemonade was more than enough for me. On that note, the lemonade was delicious and perfectly sweet. The buffalo wings are maybe the best I've ever had. The skin stayed crispy and the buffalo sauce was spectacular. The pizza was made with fig jam, prosciutto, and fresh arugula. It was very good, but I think a bit of crispy prosciutto would give it a little extra texture. The crust was thin and light and just the way I like it. If I ever come through Pawhuska again, you can bet you'll find me here.

Tip number one go here on a weekday for lunch, there is no wait. In the evening when we went it was always an hour plus wait. The pizza is great and everyone who goes here raves about it. Our server was great and checked on us frequently. The cook ruined the Steakhouse pizza by dumping what had to be over a cup of mushroom chips on it. When I brought it to our servers attention, he just said sorry about that and walked away.

Busiest place in town. Must be good. It was. Tried the Not Knots. They were good but wished the cheese didn't all just fall off. Pizza was good. Next time I'll try the Cinnamon Knots for dessert. Friendly staff. Clean. Cool building. Great renovation.

Staying at The Boarding House and had reservations for dinner. Margaritas, house Chardonnay, and 2 old fashioneds got us started with our Knot nots--oh my, what a wonderful appetizer! So garlicky, soft and cheesy! Served with marinara and ranch dressing and was wonderful. We ordered a margharita with Italian sausage pizza and the fungi pizza with Italian sausage. The crust was thin and chewy and both pizzas full of flavor. Loved them both. Only negative was the cherries used in the old fashioneds...needs an upgrade from the usual maraschino cherry. If you pay for a great drink, it needs a great cherry! Hope to return again and have better cherries!!! It was not busy this night and our experience was good!

The restaurant is on the second floor with a 2-story stairway. The back entrance is just three steps. No elevator.

Ree Drummond's Mercantile restaurant across the street had a 90-minute wait. So, this also Drummond property became our second choice and afterwards we were glad the Mercantile was too busy. Gourmet pizzas here have fluffy, flame oven cooked crusts and inventive ingredients, such as mushroom chips--slightly crispy fungi slices that accented the meat pizza. Hefty pieces of chopped steak cooked to medium perfection were the main feature of that meat pie. Our server told us the Caesar salad was big enough for two so a couple split it. He was right. Much of the salad would have been wasted on a single diner. As everything Drummond is, this was a homey, casual, and comfortable spot. Note: the restaurant is on the second floor. From street level at the front entrance it's a steep, two-story climb to the dining room and bar. The back entrance has just three steps. No elevator.

P town pizza is located in pawhuska Oklahoma. It's across the street from the pioneer woman's boarding house ( hotel). Ree Drummond. Owns Ptown pizza and Charlie's sweet treats ice cream shop right next door. Both places are very cute & good food. P town I had the lasagna. (13$) & ceaser salad. Both excellent. Lasagna piping hot & salad came with a garlic knots. It literally was the best meal while I was In Pawhuska. The fig & pricutto pizza was ok. Wouldn't get it again. Not the pizzas fault. Just my mom's choice. Not mine. We sat outside the 1st visit. Then inside next visit. There are steep steps up to the dining area so definitely be aware there's no elevator to 2nd floor dining. That would be only negative. They have a sign that they will help with wheel chairs perhaps back entrance I'm not aware of. :).

It was a beautiful day so there were a lot of people in Pawhuska. There was a bit of a wait but it wasn't bad, there's a lot of shops to visit while you wait. We ordered the Not Knots, amazing! The buttery garlic coating is subtle, the knots were fluffy and light, the cheese was chunky and full of flavor. We also had the pepperoni pizza, it was also amazing. The brick oven flavors were spot on. I ordered an unsweet tea and it was beautiful, the color was dark and the tea was not bitter at all. Now for service: 5 stars! Everyone was very kind and attentive. They were busy but they still made sure to check on us. We'll be back for sure.

Do they have gluten free crust?

Hi Susan! We don't offer gluten free crust at this time, but we hope to have it in the near future. We are still working on perfecting the recipe. We do have awesome wings, and amazing salads if you you need a gluten free option!

A 2+ hour drive from OKC for lunch might sound like a commitment--but when a place has been on your…read moreradar for years, sometimes you just make the trip. That's exactly what we did to visit The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, and overall, it delivered a really enjoyable experience. The Experience We planned ahead and made online reservations (highly recommended), especially when you're traveling that far. We arrived about 30 minutes early, checked in, and spent some time browsing the retail shop. It's well-stocked with plenty of Pioneer Woman flair--fun to look around, even if nothing made it into our cart this time. We were seated right on schedule, and our server, Tatyana, set the tone immediately--friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. The Food Let's start with the surprise... Biscuits with butter & peach jam -- I'll be honest, I'm not usually a biscuit guy, but these were soft, warm, and downright addictive. Chicken Fried Steak -- This is what you come for. Crispy coating, tender inside, and covered in a rich, peppery gravy that hits all the right notes. Classic comfort food done right. Ribeye Steak -- Well-seasoned and cooked properly. My wife originally wanted a loaded baked potato (they were out), so she pivoted to loaded mashed potatoes--which turned out to be a solid backup plan. Side Salads -- Fresh, simple, and a good balance to the heavier entrees. Don't Skip the Bakery (Upstairs!) We passed on dessert at the table and headed upstairs--and this might have been the best decision of the day. * Pecan Pie Cookie -- Absolute standout. Rich, sweet, and unique. Don't leave without one. * Snickerdoodle & Iced Lemon Cookie -- Both excellent and gone quickly. Atmosphere The space feels exactly how you'd expect--warm, inviting, and comfortable with a touch of that signature Ree Drummond style. The lighting, decor, and layout all make it a place you don't feel rushed to leave. The Verdict Was it worth the drive? Yes. Would I do it again? Also yes--especially as a planned day trip. It doesn't quite hit that 5 level for me, but it's a very strong 4 experience with great service, solid food, and a memorable setting. @cheft_2469 Scorecard * Food: * Service: * Atmosphere: * Value: Pro Tips (Read Before You Go) * Make a reservation - This is a destination spot and fills up fast, especially on weekends. * Arrive early - Gives you time to browse the retail shop before your table is ready. * Skip dessert at the table - Head upstairs to the bakery instead... trust me on this one. * Get the Pecan Pie Cookie - Non-negotiable. It's the standout item. * Chicken Fried Steak is the play - If you're on the fence, this is the safe bet. * Have a backup side in mind - Items like baked potatoes can sell out. * Plan it as a day trip - Pawhuska isn't just lunch, it's the whole experience. * Go before peak tourist season - You'll enjoy it more without the heavy crowds. "Sometimes the best meals aren't just about the food--they're about the road trip, the experience, and who you share it with. This one checked all those boxes."

The whole town is booming with shops and other opportunities for you to experience but when you go into her personal store, thousands of items on display for you to choose from whether it's for home decor or four just getting some unique pottery Bourne items for your kitchen. It's a great stop. We have been there multiple times throughout the years. To suggestions of course as you must go there to have their breakfast you will tremendously enjoy it their biscuits homemade fresh. You will truly love their biscuits. You most definitely have to try out their bakery. It's up the stairs, but I tell you one thing you are going to love it and regret it at the same time so many great options to choose from made fresh right there and you can even watch them make it and it's actually pocketbook friendly on their bakery items which I wasn't expecting. I was thinking it would be a little bit more pricey but I think about five or six items and spent less than 40 bucks in each item is a good portion size. Last thing I would suggest is make sure to see if they have any samples cause it doesn't hurt to ask and usually they do have samples coming out every hour or so so you could enjoy and even try it before you buy it So if you're here in that area, I suggest you stop in. You won't regret it. It'll be fun and a great place just to grab a goodbye to eat
