Hidden was the best hotel we stayed on our trip to Spain and France. The customer service is exceptional. You get greeted by every single employee and they are friendly and helpful. The interior decoration was amazing. They use natural wood and modern materials and it gives this amazingly relaxing feeling. Even though the bedroom is pretty tight, the bathroom was spacious, and I loved the rainfall shower head. I must have taken a bath for over an hour. The location is not the greatest, because the walk is about 10 min to the closest station, but you can see the arch the tromphi lit up at night walking from the station and it is breathtaking. You need to change the train at chatlet station if you are coming from the airport. I wish I had breakfast here....it smelled amazing! I will stay at this place again next time in Paris.

I love boutique hotels, and Hidden is the gold standard of them. I went on a mother/daughter trip to Paris a few weeks ago and convinced my mom to deviate from the usual chains for something more unique. When I found Hidden after some research, I knew it was the perfect choice. In addition to being in a wonderful location (walking distance to Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe) and having the sweetest staff ever (from the extremely accomodating front desk staff to the lovely woman who serves breakfast each day), the hotel itself is immaculate - so clean and modern but with adorable, earthy decor. It's also very quiet at all hours of the day, which I deeply appreciated, because I had to do some work on the trip (the downstairs lounge area is also great to work in in the evenings, if you're traveling on business - there's wifi and great coffee). We opted to have breakfast at the hotel nearly every day we were in Paris - it was just so good and convenient. Each morning, for 19 euros, you're presented with a delicious little buffet of made-from-scratch quiches, smoked salmon, ratatouille, crepes, several types of cheeses, vegetables, fruits, cereal, bread, coffee, fruit juices, and more. It's definitely worth having a few times on your trip. The quiches were among the best I've had! We initially were staying in one of the smaller rooms but we were upgraded after a minor technical issue with it. Our next room was absolutely perfect and so comfortable. The only (very minor) complaint I have is regarding the shower/bath - it's not concealed and is just in the corner of the room. If they installed some kind of smoked glass all around it to encase the heat/give some privacy, it'd be perfect. Overall, if you're a fan of boutique hotels and are shopping for one to stay in in Paris, Hidden is a wonderful choice. I can't recommend it enough!

Trying to get all my reviews in from our trip. This was the only non-Marriott hotel we stayed in. I'm so glad we did. It is a small boutique hotel, but it's just so lovely... very well decorated, modern but very cozy. Now keep in mind that you may want to use your Google map to initially find your way the, but is not hard after that. Love that is so close to metro. As far as customer service, cannot say enough. Always friendly and welcoming. I want to thank Anna and Tanya for making us feel like we were visiting family or freinds than a hotel... I wish I could remember the very currently and good looking bartender who created the best martini for us. I wish they were had stayed longer and had take advantage of their breakfast buffet, €19 I have to admit may seem high, but it looked so worth it instead of going out in search of breakfast... The rooms are very cozy... Yes, small, but it has everything you need and enough space that we did not get it to eachothers space. The room is also very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfy... Will definitely stay here again... and definitely stay longer...

I stayed here for three nights at the end of my trip to France and it was fantastic! The hotel is so cute and cozy. The rooms have nice curtains around the bed but aren't super spacious, although that's pretty normal for a hotel in Paris. The breakfast was good and there were a lot of options. The staff were all very friendly, which is unusual for Paris! They were so helpful when we arrived and our room wasn't ready yet-- they directed us to a cafe nearby and took the bags up to our room for us. They also helped us figure out Bastille Day plans and were generally very attentive and welcoming. The neighborhood is nice and upscale, and the nearest Metro station is very close. We had to walk a lot underground to get to the right exit for the metro, which was kind of inconvenient, but otherwise I didn't have any issues with the hotel. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Paris!

I stayed at this lovely hotel in July 2010. It was fantastic. Rooms were so clean and quiet. The staff was very accommodating. Helped me find my way about Paris. Gave great suggestions on where to eat and what to do. Just steps from the Arc De Triumphe. The only bad thing I can say is that you must get your bearings when you leave. It really is a hidden gem of a hotel. I did get lost my first go round trying to get back to the hotel. Just steps from the Charles De Gualle subway stop. Cute little bar downstairs. Comfortable bed!

To say our stay in Hidden Hotel was amazing is an understatement. From the decor, the staff, our ridiculously delicious breakfasts and the quiet zen like atmosphere of the room... Everything was perfect during our stay. Front desk was really helpful for finding our way around, getting cabs to the airport. They were young, hip and truly welcoming! For anyone looking for a boutique hotel in Paris, that is quiet yet romantic and central to everything, we highly recommend it!

This place is beautiful, a true getaway in the city and just cozy!!! The rooms are small and not as big as they look in the photos but they are nice ! The views of the city from the room are nice also! Breakfast is served every morning with your choice to have room service or in the next door building and it's delicious;) I will be back for sure !!! Beautiful place and 12 minutes from the Eiffel Tower ;)

I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prefer modern decor. But what's lacking in decor, the hotel makes it up in their location, friendly customer service, comfy bed, and great patio over looking the Eiffel Tower. Yes, you have to pay extra to get rooms with Eiffel Tower view but we found it to be worth it. We enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning and admiring its glittering lights in the evening. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's literally a few minutes away from all the luxury shops, across the street from Cédric Grolet cafe (take-away only), and the famous Cafe Angelina. The Lourve was app. 15 min walk from the hotel. A few upgrades in the room would be recommended: coffee machine (vs calling for coffee or going down to the lobby), mini fridge that's not stocked so we can put our drinks, ice machine (although we would always get our ice on the double whenever we asked for it - kiddos!). I also think newer and updated furniture would also go a long way. We bought the room with the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky to be upgraded to the suite which was amazing! It has 3 small patio overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Seperate large bedroom and living room. The living room has an outdoor patio great for private sunbathing. Oh their bed....super comfortable with great pillows, not one of those that go flat once you put your head on them. I slept like a baby! The staff - everyone we talked to were friendly and helpful. It started with Nicholas who checked us in, the gentlemen at the entrance, the ladies who did great job in cleaning our room and Tonia who checked us out. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

My favorite part was how I could open the glass doors from our room and let fresh air into the room. It was such a unique experience, and I loved listening to the city sounds while sitting by the window and reading. The hotel is centrally located as well so it was easy to get to the touristy areas as well as get to the train so we could visit some other parts of the city.

We arrived in Paris by train, traveling with my small boys and a big piece of luggage, and took the subway to Place de l'Opéra, a mildly arduous journey. We walked to the hotel and tried to check in, only to learn that the Park Hyatt would not accommodate us unless we upgraded to a much larger, much more expensive room (we'd neglected to mention the two children in our party when we booked). After much back-and-forth, my mom booked us a room at the Hyatt Madeleine, a more reasonable hotel that still gave us the benefits of her Hyatt status. It was supposedly a short walk from the Hyatt, but we spent a good twenty minutes schlepping across Paris with the children and luggage. (Very grateful to my saintly friend Ava B., who offered key support as a third adult in this unruly party.) Which is all to say, I loved this hotel the minute we walked in, reaching our destination an hour and a half after arriving in Paris. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and we were welcomed with glasses of champagne, which we quite appreciated. There was a half-bottle of red wine waiting in our room, too, which we were happy to drink while packing to leave the next night. Our stay was brief, and we spent most of our precious time in Paris out and about. The hotel was an excellent home base, though, centrally located and very comfortable. It was less fancy than the Park Hyatt, of course, but the lobby was attractive and our room was spacious and clean. It had a king bed and a sofa bed, where my three-year-old refused to sleep, instead jumping around and harassing me and once, picking up the clean underwear I'd set out for the morning and putting it on over his pants. Breakfast was included with our stay, and we took advantage of this by going down to Café M and feeding my children chocolate croissants before leaving the premises each morning. They also got room service one night while my friend and I went out for a grown-up dinner at Brasserie Pastis, an outstanding nearby restaurant recommended by the concierge. I'm sure the Park Hyatt would've been nice, but I was impressed by the Hyatt Madeleine, both the accommodations and the hospitable service. I'll bet it was a better fit for our group, too, what with the wild three-year-old. A great place to stay during an active trip to Paris.

My family was able to enjoy breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I still think about their delicious, soft scrambled eggs and fresh apple juice. The location was nice and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable. They were able to accommodate my late checkout, which was great because we had a later train departure. I gladly did so, and they were happy to let my girlfriend into the room a good 6 hours before I got there. Once I pulled up to the hotel, I checked in at the front desk.
