Found this place online when looking for a Valentine's weekend getaway. Location was great!! We stayed in the nature resides cabin, I loved the hot tub and fire place outside. Both great touches for the colder season. Cabin was immaculately clean and all necessities available to us upon arrival. The styling inside was super cozy and we both slept great. This cabin had all the bells and whistles you could ask for in a quick getaway to unplug.

Bed is upstairs in the loft

Rented the 1 room "Hidden Hickory" cabin for a few nights for me and the husband. Everything in the cabin was nice and clean. It's great how all the kitchen utensils (pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, mugs) are provided. Dish TV, DVD player, wifi, air conditioning, shower, refrigerator all worked well. The bed was a little softer than we prefer, but comfortable and clean nonetheless. It was fun having the upstairs loft. We spent one morning/afternoon doing some hiking in the nearby Beavers Bend State Park, then just enjoyed hanging out in our cabin the rest of our time. The outdoor patio/deck was great for us to sit, look at the tress, and enjoy the quiet/sounds of nature. Just a heads up, the patio of this cabin isn't covered so is in the sun for a large part of the day. The outdoor hot tub looked nice and clean but we didn't actually use it. Experience with Hidden Hills was great. If camping isn't your thing, but you still want to get away from the city and enjoy nature, I'd recommend checking this company out! We definitely want to return to the area in the future and I'll use Hidden Hills again. Thanks for a relaxing trip!

A beautiful setting for a great get away at Gallo Del Cielo

I have vacationed for years in the Beavers Bend area. I am familiar with most of the lodging options in the area and have stayed at several cabins offered by different agents and owners. My recent stays have been booked by the great people at Hidden Hills. I have stayed at 6 properties that Hidden Hills manages in the last 3 years. I have nothing but the highest praise for the staff and the facilities at Hidden Hills. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and courteous in all of our dealings. I believe their properties are the nicest in the area and a good value. Quality is the best word to describe Hidden Hills . My family and I always go back to the Beavers Bend area and the next time Hidden Hills will be the first call I make. Thank you you for a wonderful stay, IJ and Billie B. Stillwater OK

Okay, let me first start by saying I have never posted an online review for any hotel or vacation property that I have ever booked. However, I had to take a moment to tell everyone how amazing our stay was at Hidden Hills Cabins! My husband and I stayed in the Hillside Hollow cabin and everything was PERFECT! Although we planned this trip to go fishing, we were rained in for most of our stay. However, we didn't mind one bit (okay maybe a little bit). Not only was the cabin beautiful, clean, and well decorated but the staff was amazing!!! Our fishing trip easily turned into a romantic getaway. In fact, we booked another night because we didn't want to leave. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Now I feel like I let the secret out of the bag...Can't wait to go back! Next time we plan on booking another cabin to see all that Hidden Hills had to offer.

Booked a weekend getaway for my birthday and we can't wait to book again for the summer! We stayed at the Sunrise Vista cabin and the view from the bedroom was an absolute dream. Waking up to the sunrise every morning was all we could ask for. Wish it wasn't so cold and rainy or we would've gone to the lake. We will be back very soon!!

My husband and I stayed in The Caroline for 4 days (anniversary and birthday trip). I ordered the cake and balloons to be put out as we arrived. My husband loved it and the cake was really good. This was by far the prettiest cabin we've ever stayed in and very clean. Also, the reason we picked this specific cabin not only because it is gorgeous but the owners of the cabin helped me online when I had questions and concerns before it was ever completely built, the fact that this couple was able to reach out and respond before the cabin was ever even posted on hidden hills made the decision an even easier one. Enjoyed our stay :)

Deacon's Den Kitchen

My husband and I recently stayed at Deacon's Den, Hidden Hills Cabins for our anniversary. It was only a short and beautiful 2-3 hour drive from DFW metroplex. The pictures on the website don't convey the beauty of this place. We were very secluded in the surrounding magnificent Quachita National Forest, and the cabin itself was more than we ever imagined. The cabin's compare to luxury hotels as far as amenities, the design and decoration make you feel like your walking through a home set for a photo shoot. Details, Details, Details are just amazing. It was also squeaky clean inside and out. I expected to be covered in mosquito bites and chiggers, not one bite and very few run in's with bugs, bonus! I so enjoyed the tub in the master bath, the shower, the hot tub, the bed was beyond comfortable. It was so peaceful, we made a fire in the fire pit the last evening and roasted marshmellow's while a storm rolled in. Glad we got to experience storms the last night, the light show through the forest tree's was so relaxing. Literally, you never have to leave and all you need is food. Everything is provided! Wifi worked great, cable tv, playstation with games (thank goodness for my husband who has trouble disconnecting). Very nice grocery store, fabulous coffee shop, and delicious restaurants very close on the main road, as well as the Beavers Bend State Park and several museums! Now, for the best part, the price! We felt like we were stealing this was such an amazing place and value for what we paid! We have found our new favorite spot and will be back again and again, and our kids are so excited to visit! Vacationing unfortunately can be so stressful and hectic, so if you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing get a way, look no further! Thank you Hidden Hills for making our 12th anniversary so special! The Whitcombe's

Wow and Holy Cow were just a few of the phrases that fell out of my mouth as we made our approach…read moreto the cabin for our weekend get away. I hate to be effusive but, once inside, the phrases didn't stop. The cabin is at once elegant and unassuming. It's simply built and decorated in a wonderful way. I can't say enough about the quality of the craftmanship. No worries about 'pictures not matching the experience' with this property. You won't be let down and left wondering if the photos were actually taken at the place in question. Here, the photos don't do it justice. It's nestled in the woods with trees all around, but has a convenient drive up so it's not a hassle getting luggage inside. The views are stunning, and the appointments super comfortable, from the beds and linens, to the shower/bath features and amenities, to the Apple tv casting, letting me cast from my Apple phone/ipad onto the tv (we were able to download movies to our ipad then cast them to the tv for viewing). We're hoping to hop in the hot tub on our next visit! And, don't think that just because you're 'in the woods' you're cut off from civilization! There is plenty of "support services" nearby, including night spots, restaurants, and so much 'outdoorsy' stuff to do. If you're looking for a 'little cabin in the woods' that is superbly comfortable and simply a delight to look at, then you'd be hard pressed not to give this beautiful place a look.

We were pleasantly surprised at how clean, well maintained, and stocked it was. Exactly as advertised but even better in person especially with the extra decorative touches that made it feel so warm and inviting. We were also thrilled at the value we got for the price; coming from California, the price for a beautiful cabin like this is unheard of. Besides the cabin itself, we enjoyed use of the outdoor fire pit, jacuzzi, board games, and cornhole. A note that may be useful is that the fireplace in our cabin (which may be similar to others) was controlled by a wall mounted timer switch. Initially it seemed to not work, but it also required activating an igniter switch behind a panel below the fireplace.

During our stay, I slept in the downstairs bedroom for the first time on January 6. I woke up in the middle of the night with severe itching, and upon checking the bed, I found a live bed bug under my pillow. I also had multiple bites consistent with bed bugs, which I documented with photos. The meta data of the photo clearly shows the date and location of the photos. To be fair, the cabin itself appeared clean and well maintained, and I understand that bed bugs can happen anywhere. However, what has been most disappointing is how the situation was handled afterward. I reported the issue immediately and provided photo evidence. Management later stated that they had the cabin inspected and treated but found no evidence of bed bug activity, and based on that, they declined to issue even a partial refund. Despite my documentation and multiple follow-ups over the past two months, I have received no resolution and no further response. In addition to the experience itself, we have had to take ongoing precautions at home to avoid bringing bed bugs inside, including isolating items that could not be properly treated. This has been stressful and inconvenient long after the stay ended. I share this not out of anger, but because I believe others should be aware--both of the issue we encountered and how it was handled. If you choose to stay here, I would strongly recommend carefully checking bedding and being aware of how situations like this may be addressed. I had hoped to resolve this privately, but after multiple attempts with no response, I feel it is important to share my experience.
