We stayed at Journey's End cabin in Broken Bow and had the best time. The outdoor fireplace was such a great thing to have right on the patio for night time fires and s'mores. The hot tub was clean and easy to just turn the jets on when we wanted to use it. The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and they had plenty of pillows for all of us. The air mattress was surprisingly comfortable as well. It was not the standard air mattress, this one was very a thick queen size mattress. The bathrooms were huge with dual showerheads in both walk in showers. We enjoyed the corn hole game outside. We saw deer and rabbits from our patio every day. The only downside is that there is some noise from the highway when you are outside, but it didn't bother us. We will definitely return to Journey's End on our next Broken Bow trip. read more

Beautiful Cabin however horrible customer service from the management team at Hidden Hills. I love to visit Broken Bow when a small getaway is needed. We opted to rent 'Lost in the Music' from Hidden Hills. It's an amazingly beautiful 1 bedroom cabin with an upstairs loft nestled deep in the woods. The cabin cost for the weekend was $908.38. Yes, this is costly so surely 1 would expect their experience to perfect with no issues for concerns. *We arrived on Friday and within the 1st hour of settling in we discovered a dirty cookie sheet stored in the cabinet. I immediately placed it in the dishwasher as the smell was bad. I took this as a pure oversight on the cleaning crews part. *After taking a shower I noticed the water was not draining quickly. I looked down and noticed the drain was covered with brown hair. (I'm bald so this wasn't my hair). Also no one else had used the shower so this was not caught by the cleaning crew. Here's where the story gets detailed. Please note the 2 issues I just mentioned were not a big deal but I felt like they should definitely be mentioned. BTW these two incidents were mentioned to the management group via a text message when they occurred but I did not receive any response back. Back in 2014 I rented a cabin from Hidden Hills that was not clean and had many pieces of broken furniture. I shared my experience on several website only to be contacted by Angie-General Manager demanding that I remove my review. I was told they needed to be removed as they were slander. I was advised that if they were not removed she would get their legal team on me. I never removed my post as they were 100% factual and the truth. You'll notice when Hidden Hills receives a negative review it's always Angie replying back threatening legal action. She supposedly banned me at that time and black listed me with other companies. This was not true as I've rented from Blue Beaver Luxury Cabins with never any issues. As you can see in the pictures I've attached she is now threatening me again. At the end of the day I never asked for a refund or any type of credit. I was simply providing Hidden Hills feedback to ensure they knew of the concerns when it came to their cleaning crew. As you can see by the pics I was again threatened by Angie if I shared this experience. Now that I have been banned again from Hidden Hills I wanted to share this experience so you'll see what hateful management they have. Also please note this particular cabin is not safe for small children. All wkend we were in fear that my grandson fit between the wiring on the stairway. This is real concern at the landing on top of the stairwell. If you decide to visit Broken Bow please note there are SOOOOOO many other rental cabin companies that are more deserving of our hard earned money. Please note that I emailed Angie asking her to send me an apology and all would be forgiven. She refused with no response back to my request. read more

Just had my first trip to broken bow, and stayed in The Tree's cabin, and then stayed in the Journeys End cabin at Hidden Hills. They are beautiful cabins with close access to awesome restaurants and beavers bend national park. Though we did spend most of the trip at the cabins. The decor is lovely and cozy, they are clean, have everything you need to cook and serve food with, beds were comfy, and the patios are amazing. We set up our hammock and spent our days lounging in that, the hot tubs, and by the fires. I personally preferred the Journeys End cabin because of the outdoor fireplace, the claw foot bathtubs, and duel headed showers. Though I will say you can hear the highway from the Journeys End cabin, so if you want to feel more secluded The Trees is amazing. read more

Found this place online when looking for a Valentine's weekend getaway. Location was great!! We stayed in the nature resides cabin, I loved the hot tub and fire place outside. Rented the 1 room "Hidden Hickory" cabin for a few nights for me and the husband. Everything in the cabin was nice and clean. It's great how all the kitchen utensils (pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, mugs) are provided. Dish TV, DVD player, wifi, air conditioning, shower, refrigerator all worked well. The bed was a little softer than we prefer, but comfortable and clean nonetheless. It was fun having the upstairs loft. We spent one morning/afternoon doing some hiking in the nearby Beavers Bend State Park, then just enjoyed hanging out in our cabin the rest of our time. The outdoor patio/deck was great for us to sit, look at the tress, and enjoy the quiet/sounds of nature. Just a heads up, the patio of this cabin isn't covered so is in the sun for a large part of the day. The outdoor hot tub looked nice and clean but we didn't actually use it. Experience with Hidden Hills was great. If camping isn't your thing, but you still want to get away from the city and enjoy nature, I'd recommend checking this company out! My recent stays have been booked by the great people at Hidden Hills. I have stayed at 6 properties that Hidden Hills manages in the last 3 years. I have nothing but the highest praise for the staff and the facilities at Hidden Hills. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and courteous in all of our dealings. I believe their properties are the nicest in the area and a good value. Quality is the best word to describe Hidden Hills . This was by far the prettiest cabin we've ever stayed in and very clean. Also, the reason we picked this specific cabin not only because it is gorgeous but the owners of the cabin helped me online when I had questions and concerns before it was ever completely built, the fact that this couple was able to reach out and respond before the cabin was ever even posted on hidden hills made the decision an even easier one. Okay, let me first start by saying I have never posted an online review for any hotel or vacation property that I have ever booked. However, I had to take a moment to tell everyone how amazing our stay was at Hidden Hills Cabins! My husband and I stayed in the Hillside Hollow cabin and everything was PERFECT! Although we planned this trip to go fishing, we were rained in for most of our stay. However, we didn't mind one bit (okay maybe a little bit). Not only was the cabin beautiful, clean, and well decorated but the staff was amazing!!! Our fishing trip easily turned into a romantic getaway. In fact, we booked another night because we didn't want to leave. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Now I feel like I let the secret out of the bag...Can't wait to go back! Clean , roomy, great location( not to close to hwy259= quiet) ,everything worked , as we were packing up to leave ,I noticed we had a flat:( , As I'm changing the tire , my jack breaks , called the office and this sweet lady tells me help is on the way ,,,Mike shows up from the office and helps me out and advises me on a tire shop in Broken Bow,, an hour later and I'm back at the cabin ready to go,, Thanks to Mike, the lady who answered the phone and the cleaning crew who had to wait on us to finish the cabin,, we will definitely be a repeat customer!! read more

We stayed at Rock Ridge over the July 4th weekend with our two small dogs. The location (for us) was great...end of the road, lots of privacy, quiet, plenty of room to walk the dogs. The fire pit was fantastic, and the jacuzzi was also fun and appeared to be well-maintained. The cabin was decorated well and on the website was listed as a "value" two bedroom - we thought that would allow us a little more space for us and the dog kennels and my expectations were also adjusted based on the "value" statement. Wifi worked well, as did the washer and dryer. Great water pressure in the shower. While we had a good time (the four of us could have fun anywhere, though), there are a lot of misses with this particular cabin. It's on the older side (I think? Hard to tell, but that's the excuse I'm going with) and there are some basic upkeep issues that badly need attention - mainly the floor tile in the bathroom (missing and loose grout - wobbly tiles right in front of the shower/toilet, kinda dangerous), mismatched/worn/thin bath towels (and only 4 of them), impossibly knotted pull-cords on the blinds (made opening them even tougher since many were missing the tilt wand), and odd glassware (just 1 champagne flute? 1 tall glass?). The fire pit area could also use a good cleaning-up. There were a ton of cigarette butts and beer bottle caps on the ground, and soda cans on the ground behind the cabin. The first night I was doing the dishes and when I pulled out the dish drainer, it was filthy. God knows what was on it! I scrubbed it clean, but decided not to use it because I couldn't get the ick visual out of my head. Flatware storage could be better or at the least, clean out the drawers once in awhile so the steak knives aren't sitting in crud and who-knows-what else. Probably also time to swap out the flatware. We turned the fan on in the living room and dust flew off, also noticed a thick layer of it on the beams. Some might find this nitpicky, but for $185 a night I wouldn't be impressed with this level of cleaning/maintenance in a hotel, either. One note - the 2nd bedroom is VERY small. Room for the bed and that's it. We ended up keeping the kennels in the living room, so there was no extra value for us in having the 2nd bedroom. The king bed was oddly uncomfortable (both of us kept rolling towards the center) and every time we moved it was ridiculously loud and creaky. FYI. Like I said, we did have a good time but I don't think we'd come back to this particular cabin. For the price and the touting of luxury bed linens and Gilchrest & Soames toiletries, both my husband and I didn't expect the Four Seasons, but we did expect a cleaner and better-kept up cabin. And FWIW, I'm suspicious of the many 5-star reviews by 1-review Yelpers after someone left a 1-star review. read more

These cabins are hidden treasures in Oklahoma. It was a surprise get away for my spouse and working with Brooke was GREAT......I ordered the in cabin massages and had to make some changes with that and she worked with me on that! I also order the full romance package to have set up on arrival......the cabin was so clean and set up so pretty!! The hot tub was very clean and GREAT to use! My husband and I recently stayed at Deacon's Den, Hidden Hills Cabins for our anniversary. It was only a short and beautiful 2-3 hour drive from DFW metroplex. The pictures on the website don't convey the beauty of this place. We were very secluded in the surrounding magnificent Quachita National Forest, and the cabin itself was more than we ever imagined. The cabin's compare to luxury hotels as far as amenities, the design and decoration make you feel like your walking through a home set for a photo shoot. Details, Details, Details are just amazing. It was also squeaky clean inside and out. I expected to be covered in mosquito bites and chiggers, not one bite and very few run in's with bugs, bonus! I so enjoyed the tub in the master bath, the shower, the hot tub, the bed was beyond comfortable. It was so peaceful, we made a fire in the fire pit the last evening and roasted marshmellow's while a storm rolled in. Glad we got to experience storms the last night, the light show through the forest tree's was so relaxing. Literally, you never have to leave and all you need is food. Everything is provided! Wifi worked great, cable tv, playstation with games (thank goodness for my husband who has trouble disconnecting). Very nice grocery store, fabulous coffee shop, and delicious restaurants very close on the main road, as well as the Beavers Bend State Park and several museums! Now, for the best part, the price! We felt like we were stealing this was such an amazing place and value for what we paid! We have found our new favorite spot and will be back again and again, and our kids are so excited to visit! Vacationing unfortunately can be so stressful and hectic, so if you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing get a way, look no further! We loved it here. Plenty of room for 8 people in the Gallo cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. All four bedrooms had a king size bed and full bath, two of the rooms even had exit doors so you could come and go without waking anyone up. The large hot tub is nice and we all enjoyed a beautiful evening with the awesome fire pit setup in front of the cabin. There are a lot of things nearby to do as well! Fishing,hunting,antiquing,sightseeing,Bigfoot tours, and a casino all within a 20 minute drive. We will definitely be back again! read more

"Do NOT Stay in the GALLO DEL CIELO Cabin!!!" We booked this cabin because it sits high up top on the hill. On the website it actually described that it had a 20 mile view. We were so excited to stay there! Sadly, when we arrived and woke up the next morning we discovered NO VIEW! Not even a tiny one. All trees. We had windows in the back of the cabin but didn't see any view at all. Just trees. We paid almost $500 per night for a view and were VERY MISLEAD! I am sure they have already updated the website. Then we tried to log into the WIFI. We couldn't find a secure password. Any other time we have stayed in Broken Bow we are given a secure password. So I called Angela who owns and runs the management company. She wouldn't even let me get a word in! She insisted the local Pine WIFI company was secure. I told her no because it even gave me a warning that it was not a secure network. She was so rude, disrespectful, and VERY DEFENSIVE! Red Flag!! It was so bad I ended up texting her instead. Of course that got me nowhere. Then we discovered the ice in the fridge did not work. They refused to buy us a $2 bag of ice. I mean really!? The kitchen is so outdated. Old appliances, a toaster that was old and filthy, and beneath the sink it smelled of mold. The kitchen had barely any condiments. The dressers are very old as well. Some of the drawers did not work. Not safe for kids at all! Then the towels. I couldn't believe it. Cheaper than anything I have seen. White cheap towels and the cheapest toilet paper ever. The furniture in the family room was also tiny. My tall husband and three boys barely fit! It was the weirdest cabin ever with the WORST customer service. I could tell Angela did not live in the area and had no clue about the condition of the cabin. No clue at all! It's sad that this cabin has such an amazing location and it's going to rot! All they have to do is cut down a few trees for an amazing view, update the kitchen, new dressers, and new towels. I have never had a bad experience EVER in Broken Bow. Every business is top notch. I will never stay with this company again nor will I ever recommend it. I tell everyone to go to Broken Bow. I recommend booking with Beavers Bend Adventures or Beavers Bend Creative Escapes. Also, all the other cabins I have stayed in provide a huge welcome basket with free goodies, a guest sign-in book, and a wonderful book of all the local attractions. This had none of that. Nothing welcoming, some magazines stashed in a basket under a night stand. BUT, the cleaning staff left an envelope asking for a tip for cleaning. WOW, the nerve!!! I have no view or welcome letter but asking for more money. This business better turn things around because Broken Bow is growing and there are some amazing cabins being built. I have stayed at Hidden Hills cabins multiple times for several years because the area is a nice getaway, the cabins have been great, and the rates have been fair. Although it is hard to get someone to answer to phone and you can't leave a voicemail because it's full or not set up, the staff does communicate through text and voicemail. As a travel agency owner, I am always approached by clients, family, and friends for recommendations. Although Hidden Hills does not work with travel advisors, I have referred Hidden Hills cabins in the past, however, my last stay here late April 2020 will prevent me from referring Hidden Hills cabins in the future. I forgot to empty a drawer of personal items and I did not notice the mistake until I arrived home later that day. I immediately texted staff who stated that certain personal items are usually thrown away while some other personal items can be held as a courtesy even though Hidden Hills policy states they are not responsible for personal items left behind. In my case, due to hospitality staff miscommunication, ALL of my personal items that included clothing and electronics worth several hundred dollars were thrown away. As a regular customer, I at least expected to be contacted by staff once my personal items were discovered, however, I was never contacted by any staff about my left behind personal items. I would have gladly turned around and picked up my items before arriving home if I was contacted about them. Although it was my fault for leaving my own personal items behind, Hidden Hills provided no concession for the hospitality miscommunication. From this incident, I can no longer stay or recommend Hidden Hills to clients, family, and friends knowing that any personal items left behind will be thrown away. God forbid someone leave valuables such as wedding rings to never be returned. There are other cabin managements in the area and I will be referring them instead. read more

3 years ago we stayed at Jax Ridge. We loved it. We complained that we didn't feel it was very secluded and that I had assumed I would not be able to see much less hear my neighbors when I rented a honeymoon two-person Cabin in the Woods. She was fast to remind me that the words they used never specified private or secluded, I inferred. We still delighted to come back. By my own fault, we had not completed the registration & had not paid in full for our planned 2nd trip. The manager was a kind & gracious & gave us our deposit back. She didn't have to because it was completely my fault. A tax return a few months later & we called to confirm & pay in full, months in advance for August Creek. I told her specifically, more than once we wanted privacy. I was looking for as secluded as we could get. I loved the windows from top to bottom that I couldn't wait to wake up and be able to see nature outside, likely without clothes on. They mention repeatedly that their map Only Shows Hidden Hills Cabins. Once inside the addition, it is a maze of washed out roads with names not on the map, all from OTHER companies. Some privately owned. The cabin next door had a child jungle gym less than 15 steps from our dining room table. A herd of squealing kids by day 2 feet away. The hot tub was in view 3 different angles. They have a privacy fence on both sides and a roof over it. But you can be seen. I was unaware that I was going to have to walk around the entire porch to get to the hot tub. Since I had specified I wanted seclusion and privacy I didn't bring a bathing suit. How was that secluded honeymooning? It is kind of hard to have romantic hot tub time watching two seven-year-olds and their mom sit at their fire pit, just beneath us and up the hill. Or of the group with the kid's mere steps to the side of us in the hot tub, at their fire pit. Close enough that we could hear their conversation. 200 extra dollars for the windows that we never had open because there were hordes of families, dogs & little kids. I walked outside and my t-shirt and underwear early morning to see a family of many & the dogs on the road. We all saw each other. I felt exposed, even indoors. The exposed window at the staircase could be seen from the big cabin on top of the hill, behind and up, with the rowdy men. At least I felt that way. Even inside I felt like I couldn't relax. I could walk out in the white towels but I still would have to get in and out of the hot tub naked! In view of 3 other campsites. The book had complaint after complaint of how awful the bed was. They were very accurate. How close and noisy the neighbors were. And they were absolutely right. I didn't pay $200 more to be more surrounded than when we stayed at Jax's Ridge. It only had 4 cabins on the entire lot. I was very clear I was having a honeymoon trip. And our desire for privacy. She happily took my $200 extra but never mentioned how surrounded it was. We went to get away from our children so we paid to listen to other people's children. They didn't mention that the roads were so rugged and filled with giant rain filled holes. You should have a higher profile car. Jax ridge? had a perfectly fine gravel road. We were unprepared. It took the plastic shield under the bumper off our rental car leaving the driveway on the left side. The booklet of information did not include how to turn on the electric fireplace. We tried in great earnest. Another amenity that we didn't get to use. I was turned off by a homemade envelope with a pasted note card encouraging us to leave a tip for the housekeeper. WHY? she didn't come into my cabin daily? What happens if the people before us didn't tip her? The cabin was clean enough but now I felt uncertain. I paid $700 for 3 nights of a honeymoon cabin. I didn't get to use the hot tub but one night, I didn't get to open the windows, I was completely surrounded by people and children, the bed was absolute misery, we didn't get the fireplace, and we had NO phone service the entire time we were there. Inside my cabin, with the shades always drawn, I felt like I needed to be aware of myself walking around with no clothes on. Not very honeymoon cabin like. We felt deceived. This was nothing that I thought we were sold and I specified as important! We should have gone back to Jack's Ridge. But instead next time? I think we're just going back to Eureka Springs Arkansas.Note: the manager who had been gracious b4 CALLED me twice, 2 months later to confront me on my poor review. Then left me a scolding text calling me a liar, scammer and all around scumball. I am now placed on a permanent DO NOT RENT LIST to the whole area. Damn that luck. Hidden Hills cabins...... Its a nice place to go and to spend time with family but..... After spending 3,000$$ to rent a cabin I did not expect to find such things as listed below. 1.refridgerator with broken drawers and shelves 2. A stove (electric mind you) that has burners on the stove top that is not level. 3. All windows look like they had never been washed on the outside or the inside. 4. A hot tub with non working jets and Luke warm water at a setting of 104 5. Then before leaving renters are instructed to start a load of laundry and to also start a load in the dishwasher. 6. Windows caked with dirt on the outside and a huge elevated Bay window that was so dirty the you couldn't enjoy a sunrise Mind you our family paid 3,000$$ to rent this cabin and all above is very Un acceptable. When hiddenhillscabins was informed about all this all that was said was ty for you feedback and we appreciate it cause we strive to be the best. Obviously not thou!! Well after calling one of the owners and informing them of these issues I was let down again. I was being told there r dead bugs on the inside of your window because we have 43 properties and not enough employees to get to each property and clean it before the next renter shows up. UNACCEPTABLE AND NOT MY PROBLEM! But from talking to the owner my expectations were to high for the property we rented for 500$$dollars a night and I should understand that the cabin is outside and there will be dead bugs on the inside of your cabin and that they don't have enough employees to clean them up. And all that was ever said to me was sorry and ty for your feedback and we will do better next time. Then after asking about a comp of some sort (mind you I'm on the phone with one of the owners). We recently stayed in The Oasis... This cabin is perfect for a couple. I do have to say that it was so nice to just unplug for the weekend and relax. The cabin was well maintained and clean and although we didn't get to use the hot tub, it appeared to be well maintained and clean as well. This is a great getaway from Dallas. My only complaint would be that the bed is very uncomfortable. While having nice bedding, the bed feels like sleeping on an air mattress because you just cant help but roll to the middle. Unfortunately, this would possibly keep us from returning... especially to that particular cabin. read more

Our cabin was absolutely perfect. We had everything we needed to just relax for a few days. We stayed in Sunrise Vista and enjoyed rising with the sun each morning. The cabin was spotless upon arrival. The bed and linens were good enough that I didn't need my usual 1-2 nights to adjust to sleeping in a new bed. The hot tub was really clean (we didn't use it because it was already blistering outside). A word of advice....go outside at night and look at the stars. AMAZING. WOW!! Be careful with "the owner" and her rude behavior! To start from the beginning, we had SO much trouble getting in touch with "the owners" to make our payment on the cabin in a timely manner. After several phone calls & being asked to "call back tomorrow" or "can't talk now...please text to remind me to call you", an never receiving a phone call, we were frustrated with "the owners" and the RUN AROUND they were giving us, after several attempts to contact them. They finally took a partial payment using the wrong credit card, after having been given the correct card information. The deadline was quickly approaching and I sent an email stating exactly what had been going on for over a week, and would like for her to call me so we could get this matter cleared up right away. I apologized to her for my frustration in the email, but really wanted to get the full payment behind us, so we didn't lose our reservation. "The owner" called right away and proceeded to terribly treat my friend who answered the phone. She was so rude and we were unable to get a word into the conversation. She yelled that we should never have sent such an awful email. NEVER did she apologize for any inconvenience she may have caused. She proceeded to yell that "we didn't even have to stay in her cabin!" (Little did we know, we probably should have cancelled.) It's been 2 weeks since our visit to GALLO DEL CIELO and I received a phone call yesterday from "the owner" regarding our review that we posted about our experience. Apparently, it is against the law to use "the owner's" name in a review. She threatened to SUE us for defamation, if we didn't remove her name from the review. She also threatened to call ALL of the other companies that rent cabins and put us on a blacklist, so that I can never rent a cabin in Broken Bow again! She wouldn't stop talking and threatening, for even a minute, so I could get a word in. She said "she was tired of her customer's treating her and her family this way". (So, obviously, we are not the first renter's that have been spoken to like the way this "owner" spoke to me!) We have been coming to Broken Bow for years and love the area for our family, and have NEVER run across such behavior in an owner before. She was literally a bully on the phone with me yesterday, as well as with my friend before the trip, while we were simply trying to submit payment for the cabin. In my opinion, her actions, rudeness & phone call's have absolutely been the most uncalled for and unprofessional experiences that I have ever encountered from a rental company. This entire mess could have been prevented if "the owner" would have simply said she was sorry from the VERY beginning, when it was so hard to contact them. Unfortunately, her actions have caused her to lose another customer. I will continue to visit Broken Bow and enjoy everything that it has to offer. However, I will be calling the previous cabin rental company that we have used so many times before. They have always been kind and cordial, and have never treated us the way Hidden Hills Cabin owners have treated us. read more

What a great getaway!!! I stayed in the Hidden Hickory and could not have asked for a better place to stay. I knew the forecast for rain and planned ahead for a peaceful day watching the gentle rain fall through those huge windows. Loved all the provisions that were available in the cabin. Perfect weather for that beautiful fireplace as well!!!! So clean and well maintained. Loved the entire experience. read more

It's very rare to have expectations exceeded these days, but every part of our experience from customer service to the quality of the cabin was beyond all reasonable expectations. If you are researching and comparing other cabins with Hidden Hills, stop now, and get one of the beautiful, secluded cabins Hidden Hills has to offer. I truly only wish we could have stayed longer. My husband and I have stayed at Hidden Hills Cabins 2-3 times a year for the past 3 years. They are by far the best cabins in the Broken Bow area. They have wonderful customer service, answer questions before your trip and are super clean. We have stayed in multiple cabins and we have never had a problem other being sad when its time to go. We got back from our trip last week and actually booked a trip in December while still sitting in the cabin. If you are thinking about renting a cabin in this area go with Hidden Hills. We've stayed in other cabins in the area and nothing has been near as nice or clean as Hidden Hills. read more

I have recently stayed at Hidden Hickory and my sister and her family stayed at 12 Oaks. To say we had a phenomenal time is an understatement. The cabins were immaculate and the area is gorgeous. We kayaked ( yippee Kayo Canoe) the mountain fork and dined at the Grateful Head and Abendigos. We also visited beavers bend state park so the little ones could ride horses. We have been using Hidden Hills Cabins for our Beaver Bend getaways for the last four years. We have never had any issues. The cabins are beautiful and secluded. Each one has a hot tub . We have found the management to be professional, friendly and very attentive to our needs. This is great place to get away from it all at reasonable prices. Our little Walden ! We stayed in the Gallo Del Cielo cabin. It was near perfect. The nature is beautiful. The seclusion is perfect. The drive to the local parks is easy. The 4 master suite set-up was perfect for us. The hot tub is great, the grill is great, the firepit is great. The bedrooms are cute and cozy, the bedding is comfortable, the bathrooms have everything you need. My only critiques are as follows: the beds were extremely firm but the manager brought mattress toppers and we were able to sleep the following nights. There were several items that were broken and needed replacement/repair (dining room chair, coffee table near collapse, hand mixer, a glass, a plate). If you are a cook you need to bring some good knives so you can cut meats and veggies. Also there is only salt and pepper in the kitchen. No coffee or cream/sugar like you have in hotels. Really everything else in the kitchen you can make do with. The incline up to this cabin is quite steep and people with regular cars may have some difficulty. The roads definitely need work. I'm sure the Spring rains made them much worse. Regardless of these few minor issues, we would definitely come back to these cabins. It would be amazing in the Fall with the colors changing. read more

We stayed in the Settle In cabin. Very pleased with everything except for one detail. We had a jetted tub in the cabin but the hot water tank didn't hold enough to fill it even half full, so we couldn't use it, just spent more time in the hot tub. The experience was wonderful and very relaxing. This cabin is great for a couples get-a-way. We are already looking at going back, might try a different cabin just for kicks but you won't be disappointed in this one. read more

I stayed at sunset ridge!! It was a great 3 day stay with our 2 kids, plenty of room and very clean. I have no complaint and lots of complements. Everything was ready available, cooked in the completely furnished kitchen and use the grill nightly. Close to Beavers Bend state park, easy to find and location was nice as well. washer/dryer was a plus as I wasn't expecting one. Rooms on opposite sides of the cabin for privacy and very spacious. I will definitely be returning to these cabins, best so far that I have stayed in broken bow.. read more

There were minor hiccups on my recent visit to celebrate my birthday at Cubby Bear cabin. The toilet in the master on suite did not work the entire stay (which I was assured was fixed which never happened), no lights in the upstairs bedroom, TV in master bedroom did not work, stain on the comforter on the master bed, and propane tank on the gas grill was empty and there was a tank left on the deck which we had to change ourselves. After speaking with Becky numerous times she apologized and agreed to give me a 10% discount. It was never about the money to me but the principle. I spent a lot of money and expected not to have these issues. However, we made the best of it and had a great time. However, this wonderful experienced changed when I received an email on yesterday from Angie advising me they deducted the 10% I was promised because of a stained comforter which she said was brand new which was a lie. I inspect each and every bed when I'm away from home and there was a yellow mustard or highlighter stain on the comforter. It was taken off the bed and placed in the washer to be cleaned. She also indicated on the email that there was a stain towel and when I inquired about this still waiting on a response and then was accused of stealing a Swiffer. I did not even know there was a Swiffer the only thing we used to clean up the cabin before we left was a broom and a dust pan which we left in the kitchen. Angie accused me of being a liar and a thief. As I stated to her I do not trust her staff because after all this is the same staff that lied about coming to repair the toilet. I believe at the end of the day this is retaliation for my complaints and they simply did not want to give me the 10% discount back. I was never called before they charged my card and when I spoke to Angie she was not only disrespectful and rude she hung up the phone while I was speaking with her. Angie lacks zero customer service skills, She is a business that needs clients I would NEVER recommend Hidden Hills Cabins to anyone I know. I went out of my way in assuring that the cabin was left in the same condition as when we got there on Friday. I'm rating my visit with one star wished I could have given zero star because I did not feel I was appreciated as a client in fact I felt the total opposite. This is what Angie calls exceptional service. Let's not put on a front on YELP and let's call a spade a spade.. The truth is in black and white. Here are YOUR EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE TEXTS I received today, October 21st: HH: These are the linens that were stained during your stay. We typically do not charge for bath and dish towels but do for comforters. However, we document all stained linens during a particular stay rather they are charged to the customer or not. Me: Where did they find this linen at in the cabin? And those towels? HH: The comforter in the master bedroom. She didn't specify where the other linens came from in the cabin I would have to ask her Me: That is not true. That comforter was left in the dryer on Sunday when I left. There were white towels sitting on the stools when we left on Sunday that I washed. And those towels were not stained like that. They we white with no stains. HH: She said it was the from the master. I believe her, she has no reason to lie about this. This matter is over and we have counted it as a loss. The way our system works it would be very hard for a house keeper to lie about linens or where they came from. We have that system in place because most people unfortunately will not admit when they have damaged an item. She would have no reason or way to stain the linens before returning them to our house keeping manager Nor would my housekeeping manager lie about the new comforter or better yet there wouldn't be a ticket for two new comforters for cubby bear in the ticket book, issued the day before your check in if the comforters weren't new. Me: Which lie is it now you said it was found in the master bedroom and now the story has changed? You can BS me. Once you get it together let me know. Somebody is lying. HH: Please do not contact me again. The proof is there and you got your way anyway. I believe you knew the stains were there and that's why you washed the blanket. You win though, we will not be charging you so you got away with it. Since I did not get a chance to respond, here is my response. This has never been about the money but doing what was right. Not only did she accuse me of lying and being a thief, she then had the nerves to say I had nine other guests who could have taken a $20 Swiffer or made the stains on the towels and comforter. For the record those towels were never in Cubby Bear and the comforter that you sent me a photo of was not taken from Cubby Bear. I WILL NEVER visit your establishment again and I will make sure everyone knows what I have experienced so this doesn't happen again. BY THE WAY STILL WAITING ON THAT REFUND... read more

Based on other reviews.. I was surprised that I wasn't more impressed with my stay. Pro's: The cabin was very clean, as were all the amenities. Con's: -My biggest issue was that we paid over $550 for the weekend, and which we were told firewood was included. The only reason we booked Blue Moon cabin was because it had the outdoor fire pit near the hot tub. The wood provided to us was soaked! There was no possible way we were going to be able to have a fire with it. So the next night (Saturday) we called the office to ask them to bring us some dry wood and they told us we could go to town and buy some but otherwise it wasn't their problem. I was very disappointed in their lack of caring about our experience. Coming from the city we never get have an outdoor fire. We noticed other cabins owned by different management companies have sheltered areas for their firewood. - My other big problem was that we booked the Blue Moon for the impressive massive shower with three shower heads.. well the hot water runs out 3X as fast and you can only take about a 10-15 minute shower, I didn't even get all the conditioner out of my hair before it was freezing cold water. Literally the TWO reasons we booked this cabin were complete misses. Which left an overall negative view of the trip. FYI as well, since I didn't see this on their web page and am not familiar with cabin rentals. They require you to start a load of towels in the washer and clean and put away all dishes before you leave. I was not expecting those chores to be a requirement and didn't see it listed on their webpage until after we booked it and got an email of confirmation. We probably will be back up to the area, but will book with a different cabin rental management company. This was our first experience, and we weren't too impressed with Hidden Hills. We recommended the area to our friends and family, just won't be able to recommend these cabins specifically. They are mediocre for the price. read more

I would like to start off saying the cabin ( Gallo Del Cielo) itself was fine. I only have a few complaints about it. In one of the bathrooms the bathtub was not cleaned very well and in another one it did not drain very well. The outside of the cabin needs to be power washed and patio could have been swept off. The HOT TUB was nasty and had a really bad smell and did not have any kind of cleaning chemicals to keep it clean and fresh. One of the windows had been broken previously and had roaches between the window panes. The appliances need to be replaced. My really big complaint was how we were treated during the reservation process. We had 4 couples going so we were told we could individually call and pay our portion. I tried to call on a Sunday to pay in a timely manner and was told to call back Monday because she was not in the office which it being Sunday I totally understood, so I called Monday morning to pay with my credit card. The lady was very nice and took all the information and told me she would send a receipt to the person who set up the reservation. I asked my friend the next morning if she could print the receipt from her email for me. When she logs in we discover that they had ran her card instead of mine. We tried to call no answer so we sent an email to let them know they had made a mistake. One of the owners from Hidden Hills calls my friends phone and while we all work in customer service she happen to be helping a customer so I answered her phone. I tried to tell her that I would call her back on my break but she kept talking over me and was mad about the email she had received about their MISTAKE. Never once on the phone did she apologize about it happening. She told me that the lady that took the payment on Monday was having a family medical problem which I totally can understand but it was the way she talked to me very unprofessional for a business who is renting a cabin for $1500 for a weekend. She also told me we didn't even have to stay in their cabin !!!! We go every year with a big group and WILL NEVER RENT FROM HIDDEN HILLS AGAIN!!!! read more

Beautiful cabins with great customer service! The cabins were clean and just as luxurious as they look in the pictures. The area surrounding the cabins and Broken Bow Lake are stunning. The owners are also very helpful with locating things to do and bringing things like firewood to the cabins. read more
