Broken Bow is always fun and memorable. This was our 1st family trip to Broken Bow, and I have personally been several times. I decided to rent from Blue Beaver again since they've never let me down. I can't necessarily say that this time. I rented one of the biggest cabins on their website. We went to the beautiful Steinmore. This cabin is very impressive and has plenty of space for everyone. The rooms are decorated nicely, and all the amenities were thought of. My biggest letdown was the beds in the 2 master rooms downstairs. The beds are not of the highest quality and do not have box springs. The beds sit VERY low for the group and make it very difficult to get in and out of. I am 6ft, 230 lbs., and felt like I was sinking into the bed and rolling back toward the headboard. My daughter and her husband slept in the master closet to the kitchen, and they too did not sleep well. The mattresses were not the issue, it was the fact that the mattresses are sitting on planks. Other things that were bothersome are small details and have to do with expectations. * Dusty blinds * Smears on walls * Trashcan was not empty upon arrival * The walls behind the trashcans were dirty * The trash bin drawer was filthy around the lip of the can * Comforters and throw pillows in bedrooms were stained * Only two trash bags were left for a family of 15 for the whole weekend * Christmas plates and décor on the table were dusty- Probably pulled from the storage and set right onto the table * Glasses were greasy and many needed to be rewashed before using These are all small details that will make this cabin more awesome than it was. We absolutely loved our stay at Treetops. The cabin was clean, beds were very comfortable and the space was perfect for our group of eight. Check-in and checkout were VERY easy - the most simple of all of the places I've stayed. The cabin was isolated but close to town - it was the PERFECT balance. The directions we were given said it didn't work with GPS; however, our Apple and Google Maps took us straight there but even without those, their directions were spot on. We had a wonderful stay at the Believe in You cabin. It is so cute. There are so many small touches that make it so homey. The hot tub is private so you don't have to worry about people seeing you. The fire pit is fun and they even had wood out there. I would recommend it for 2 only. Our downfall was the pull out bed. It is a mess and about to fall apart. We went to Walmart and bought an egg crate and that didn't even help. We also fixed one of the springs but that didn't help either. So for 2 I would highly recommend this cabin. read more

We have been renting luxury cabins in Broken Bow for 10 years. This last vacation was not a good experience. We rented Knotty By Nature. I called a few days before for a early check-in, they said we can check in early at 2:30. But then called us back the day of stating that they were putting in a new stove putting us past our regular check in time that would've been 4pm but we didn't get to check in until an hour later (past our 4 o'clock check in) and it was freezing cold outside. And come to find out later they installed cameras, which was very suspicious and odd to me, all of a sudden the day that we were checking in as a black family. Second I called weeks before to make sure they had a full tank of propane to cook with, they told me it was one. But Sunday morning after we were in the middle of cooking, we found out the propane was completely empty, I called them the wait took forever we actually had to go to the store ourselves to pick up another thing of propane while the rest of our food got cold and soggy. First night there one of the beds coversheets we found several nasty stains everywhere on it. Try to play pool right when we got there the pool ball was busted.. And the list goes on, it was a very frustrating vacation, we have never experienced this and we have rented from several different properties, this was our second time renting from Blue Beaver. Before I wrote this review I was expecting someone to give me a call but no one has so that makes me believe they don't really care they just want the money without providing luxury service. Because of this experience we may consider relocating our family's vacation. read more

Stayed in the #Honeymoon cabin for me and my husband's first anniversary and the cabin overall was really amazing. Loved the huge bathroom, and walk-in shower. The jacuzzi was great with the cold rainy weather we had during our stay, but hotel 101, CLEAN THE SHEETS. I've never been so grossed out.. it was 11pm and me and my husband went to get inside the bed and there were dark hairs all in the sheets.. luckily our cabin had a washer/dryer in it that came with a supply of detergent so we were able to clean the sheets ourselves but lost a lot of sleep time because of it. We won't be renting this cabin again but may try a different one since I know these are independently owned cabins. read more

Both very close to each other so we could walk from cabin to cabin they the woods. They have a VERY secluded feel to them even tho they are minutes from the Hwy. ALL the rooms very very spacious an all the bathrooms were very generously sized. Perfect place for a large family getaway or just to spend some time in a million dollar cabin!! Gorgeously decorated down to every last detail! Fantastic hot tub and TVs in every room!! Beds were soo comfy I thought I was at home!! We will be back!!! read more

We stayed at the Beaver Creek cabin on May 10-14, The cabin is well equipped, clean and secure. We enjoyed the seclusion as the deck is spacious and faces a thick forest of trees, similar to staying in a Tree House. It is located in Quachita Forest area , North of Broken Bow. The Cabin is Pet friendly as the rear deck is spacious and completely enclosed with railing. Directions are a bit sketchy and we found the best map by placing Mounting Fork Brewery on our GPS. read more

My husband and I stayed in the As You Wish cabin for our one year anniversary. We stayed for four nights. Our cabin was ready at 3pm (the designated check in time). The cabin itself was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pants, and other small appliances. Plenty of dishware too. There were two couches, one of which was a pullout sofa. The bed was a king size, which was nice since neither of had ever slept in one. The cabin also had two fireplaces inside (third on the porch), one in the living room and the other in the giant bathroom. We thought the gas would be turned off after our first night but it wasn't which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was awesome. Two sinks, walk in shower, and claw foot tub. The tub does take a while to fill so... start early. In the back there is the hot tub with enough room for four people. Unfortunately not a ton of privacy but that's okay. They also had a firepit with three pieces of wood already in there so that was pretty sweet. I read in another review were someone complained about the internet... you're out in the middle of nowhere. They even tell you the wireless might not be reliable. There are so many other things to do that, honestly, it shouldn't be an issue of the internet isn't working. Anyway, our experience was amazing and we definitely will be coming back. read more

We were fortunate to stay here last weekend for a family reunion. My family rented Urban Hideaway, and our Texas family rented Camp Wannaplay. Our KCMO fam had Nantucket Sam's. We had a wonderful weekend, and I highly recommend this is a getaway weekend for families in OKC or Dallas. We really loved that the cabins were modern and beautifully styled. It felt like being in someone's HGTV dream home. Nantucket Sam's was by far the nicest, but the other two were better suited for kids (10 under the age of 10 in the case of our two houses). We would absolutely do this again and probably will. Well-appointed kitchens, beautiful master suites, lovely patios. Believe the hype! read more

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at their Always Love You cabin this past week! The cabin itself is in an easily accessible location. It was far enough from the road we didn't hear traffic but close enough to local shops that we could run and grab a bite to eat or shop at a local gift shop when we needed to get out for a bit. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. We will definitely visit this area again. Negative aspects: The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 are that I had difficulty booking and a few amenities didn't work out for us. First, I had won a gift certificate through Travel OK and they gave me a hard time with using it. I ended up booking an additional 3 days just so they would allow me to use it. I also qualified for a military discount but they refused to let me use it on top of the gift certificate. Second, the outdoor fireplace would not work. It was beautiful and I would have loved to sit out on the back deck and enjoy the fire but it never turned on. Lastly, for the price of the cabin and the beauty of the bedding-- you'd expect a better quality mattress and a good nights sleep. For being so relaxed, I came back exhausted. I found it hard and uncomfortable. That is a personal preference but I honestly considered going to Walmart and buying an inflatable mattress just to take a nap at one point... I would give anything to have the sheets off that bed though... they were amazing! read more

Nice and quiet to where you can hear the coyotes howling at night. I only gave 4 stars due to we had multiple Mud Daubers we had to kill in our cabin. :( We plan on coming back in the summer. read more

So this was never on my bucket list to visit broken bow and stay in a cabin, but after winning a two night stay from travelok.com we decided to take a little vacation. Owl always love you was the cabin choice for this adventure, this cabin was beautiful and so well put together and include anything that you could need for an extended stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous throughout the entire planning process. All of the cabins have a fire pit and hot tub, ours also included a washer and dryer - nothing like coming home with clean clothes! This cabin was close enough to small shops to run and grab what ever you may need, but far enough that there isn't a ton of traffic. Nestled in the middle of a national forest there was plenty of area to go and hike around or just be outside. If you are planning a trip to the state park and needing a place to stay, give them a go! I for one will be going back to stay at another cabin they have to see what other cabins have to offer. read more

Would not recommend this place to anyone. We were told that the cabin would be ready at 3. It was not ready and it was almost dark when it finally was ready. The TV in the living room didn't work and when we called about it, we were told someone would be out to fix it but no one ever did during our four day stay. The front door would not stay closed unless you locked the deadbolt on it. We are staying in the "better half" cabin and even though it is a 2 bedroom, the living area is only comfortable but 2 people. Stay anywhere else but here. read more

I stayed at this location several times both times had a blast! The cabins are very luxurious and the wifi works perfectly! I love the hot tubs and how clean and homely these cabins feel. I had some issues regarding the inaccurate advertising on their website but the manager quickly discounted me. And they were nice enough to have complimentary wine sent to my cabin. Tip: be sure to take a picture of the directions that they email to you. Your phone will lose signal once you get closer to the cabin. The cabin pretty much has everything you need and can think of! The cabins are truly amazing. They are beautifully furnished, great for large groups. Wonderful porches to sit and relax on. Perfect location. Lots of bathrooms. BUT! The ROADS ARE TERRIBLE. GIANT POTHOLES. GIANT. CANT GET AROUND THEM. TOO MANY. For the price of the cabins you would never imagine the roads to be so bad. I was hesitant on booking this cabin at first because of its high price. We stayed at the timber creek for two nights. The cabin is absolutely spectacular with its roomy living space and great outstanding screened outdoor seating. We were a party of 13 and everyone felt they had enough space to do what they wanted. My wife and I rented Star Creek this past weekend. We were there Saturday and Sunday night leaving Monday morning. Star Creek was excellent. I gave four stars for a few reasons most of them very minor because this was a super weekend as we wanted to have a weekend getaway from DFW and a short rest from our busy lives. Now, please keep in mind, my wife introduced me to renting getaway cabins when we met as her family rented a cabin once a year several years prior to us meeting. Getting away to a cabin is a super idea to get away from Dallas or any other bigger city. So, in saying that, please note that the Beaver's Bend area is EXPLODING and growing by leaps and bounds--this includes cabins all over the area. The last two cabins we have rented in the area were very near other cabins. When we started renting cabins up there, the cabins were fewer and further between each other. So, it's a super idea to get away for the weekend, but please keep in mind that not all the cabins are very far apart from one another like they used to be. I am not saying that there aren't any that are spread out, but do some asking about any other cabins close by because driving to this cabin, if it were not for the dirt roads and the amount of trees, you'd swear it was a new suburban development neighborhood you were driving through. Now for our weekend at Star Creek! This cabin was really great! As I said above, my complaints are minor, and we would rent this place again in a heartbeat or gotten a longer stay if it was possible for us. Star Creek is a one bedroom cabin with a hot tub and a garden tub as well. The kitchen was great with lots of room and counter space. There was also a propane grill, but we didn't use it. There is also a small fire pit, but we didn't use that either. We came to relax and did just that! The bathroom on the first floor by the living room has a walk-in shower, but it's very tight and has no light in the shower stall itself so it can get dark while you are showering with the curtain shut. Perhaps they could just use the clear plastic lining instead of the plastic lining and the curtain. The bedroom is upstairs and is basically a loft bedroom overlooking the living room. The garden tub and toilet along with a sink are upstairs with the open bedroom. The bed is comfy with a big TV on the wall. The hot tub on the back porch was awesome and can seat three easily. The hot tub is surrounded by a privacy fence, and here is a suggestion for them about that. The one corner of this part of the back porch has a stairway which allows for a spot where there is no privacy to the hot tub. I suggest maybe a swinging gate that can be opened or shut to allow for the full privacy of the hot tub. Just minor complaints there, but my wife and I had a wonderful weekend at Star Creek. We would have loved to have been able to stay longer if it were not for our lives back at home. We hope to rent another cabin soon from Blue Beaver! read more

This is our first time visiting Oklahoma for vacation. We choose Broken Bow as our destination and rented the Opa Creek Cabin. Our stay has been amazing and experience is awesome! The beds however lack majorly! They are so load and uncomfortable we will have to search out a different cabin next time. You move a finger and you wake up someone on the opposite side of the cabin. Also my wife and my backs, necks and every part of our body need work now and we only stayed 5 nights..... As for views and scenery that's been amazing. It rained every morning for us and we found there is a little creek that ran in the back of our cabin and the trees are beautiful. We would recommend this area but definitely warn everyone about this cabins beds. Another note for pet owners, we brought our pup with us for the first time and had no issues. The cabin and majority of our activities were all very accepting of our fur baby family member. read more

We stayed in the Opa Creek cabin. The cabin had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we needed. It had a washer & dryer so we were able to go home with clean clothes which is always nice. The only downside I found was the road going in. It had some Texas Sized Potholes! Could have been from the recent flooding OK had. I'm not sure if it reaches that far or not. The description also said overlooking a creek and that didn't seem to be the case. Had a great wet stay at the Big Timber Lodge. We had a family get together of 60 people. We had 48 at this cabin and 13 at another cabin. Could not have had a better place. Rooms were perfect, beds were comfortable and very clean. The kids enjoyed the huge yard for playing in and loved the hot tub. The huge family room was incredibly accommodating as well as the kitchen. Everyone left there saying they wanted to get it again next year. Spent a 3 day weekend at Backwoods. My husband, 2 dogs and I LOVED the cabin. Beautifully decorated and pet friendly! What really sold us was the dog bowls that I found while going through the VERY WELL stocked cabins for dinner supplies. The owners of Backwoods really took care in stocking the cabin and decor. Plenty of blankets and comfy couch to curl up by the fire and warm up. Love the private drive and how far back off the main road it sits, allowing for more privacy. Cabins are good distances apart so you don't feel packed in, and even with it being Jan. And the trees being bare, there is plenty of distance from your neighbors to get the full cabin feel. Walked down to Okie Girls for coffee and everyone we passed was super friendly, only .3 miles so was perfect for a morning walk with the dogs. Will DEFINITELY be back. Don't let the prices and pet rent scare you, it is absolutely worth it!!!! read more

Have stayed in Broken Bow for several years. Rented the Big Timber Lodge for 4 nights. This is a new cabin that boasts itself as a venue for corporate retreats, family reunions and wedding parties. We had no wifi on day 2 and error was reading "renew lease". We were told it probably wouldn't be turned back on. The company was not accommodating about it and did not seem to care. When the wifi did turn on it was terrible. You won't have any wifi at all if you stay in any cabin that is not directly next to the main room. The kitchen in the main room is terrible. There is not enough space for two people to cook because the stove sticks out so far. The sink is a joke, dents all over the fridge and the oven cooks incredibly SLOW. There is a deep freezer in the laundry room but it is tiny. A stand up would be better for a large group. The pilot lights on half of the burners went out and we woke up to a strong smell of gas in the main room. We called about that and were told someone would be by but no one showed so we fixed it ourselves. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable but there is nowhere to unpack. Overall, it seems they are tying to make this cabin seem as if it is a luxury cabin for large parties but they cheaped-out in so many areas that matter. Blue Beaver Cabins is not a company that I will rent from again. There are plenty of rental companies, in the area, that have much better customer service, that I will gladly do business with read more
