WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Came to broken bow with my daughter for spring break, rented this "cabin" Sugar Haus. To start with I received so many emails from the management company. One ten minutes after booking saying it was cancelled because they needed documents. I called the company and poor girl on phone said they were overwhelmed and they had been asking management company to make changes, everyone is complaining. So, got her everything she needed. There were not clear directions to place. For there and code would not work for the door. Called and it took several times to connect with someone. Waited for 30 minutes for someone to come and open door. While I was waiting I notice bird poop on door. Dirty exterior, missing cushions. Lots of wasps and a band aids in the hot tub. Once I'm inside, there are hairs on the bed, floor, counters, tub everything is dirty! Took several calls and management company sent someone out. This lady reeked of some type of drug and was really rude. Tried to tell me that it was clean. Was very combative, and did not clean, just left. I'm sitting on the porch waiting for a resolution, keep trying the management company and up com, a security guy saying that the management company wanted to kick me out! It was a terrible day, and I could not believe they would be as unprofessional as they were. They claim that they are luxury cabins with the luxury experience, there was nothing luxury about it! I stay at Airbnb all the time, and I will absolutely never stay at this place again. Worst customer service I've EVER experienced.

This was my first time in Broken Bow, but my girlfriend was a veteran. Even her expectations were exceeded in our beautiful cabin, Magic Carpet. It's a very luxurious space, impeccably decorated, and well appointed. Although most would expect "rustic" to be a key decorating theme, this cabin has more of a Turkish influence throughout (particularly in the lighting department), which makes for a wonderful alternative experience. One of my favorite touches is the epoxy flooring, in a beautiful swirl of purple and gold, across the entire first floor of the cabin. Downstairs amenities included a beautiful kitchen that was well stocked in hardware, including a beautiful stainless steel French fridge over freezer unit, smoothtop stove and oven in the island, drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, conventional plates/silverware/preparation knives, cutting boards, containers, toaster, slow cooker, Kitchenaid stand mixer etc. Note, though, that the only "software" was salt, pepper, Sweet n Low, and some basic coffee - bring everything you need if you want to cook. We brought a Home Chef meal to cook, but we had to go out for olive oil. There's also a big screen TV and Sonos sound system, including a nice surround sound setup. But our favorite downstairs amenity was the 60-in-1 cocktail table video game, which provided hours of entertainment for me and my girlfriend. Moving upstairs, there's an expansive and elaborate king size bed, but beware that it's elevated so much that stepstools (provided) are needed to mount and dismount. It was very comfortable, though, and there's another big TV for viewing from the bed. A large triangle shaped tub provides jets and lights, and a standalone shower features beautiful stonework as well as a very nice multi shower head system. Bathrooms throughout are completely updated with glass vessel sinks, waterfall faucets, and large oval toilets. Curtains cover most windows, but know that there are some large uncovered windows upstairs that allow a lot of light in; bring sleep masks if you expect to sleep after sunrise. HVAC systems, upstairs and down, are more than adequate to keep the temperature where you want it, at least in the winter. Fireplaces are also located upstairs and down; the former, an electric "virtual" unit at the foot of the bed, the latter a conventional gas fireplace with timer in the living room. Outside, there's a hot tub that's fairly isolated, but be advised that determined neighbors or passersby could get a look without much effort. Perhaps one of the very few items that could use improvement is the outdoor firepit - it had collected some water, was too heavy to overturn for emptying, and we were unsuccessful in starting a fire, despite using a full bottle of starter fluid and starter "sticks" (note that the management company refunded our money for the firewood after this was brought to their attention). Also note that the driveway is a little steep and features gravel over sand (not paved); bring the Bentley and leave the Ferrari at home for this visit. Overall, we had a wonderful nearly three day weekend here, and would eagerly come back to visit this exact cabin, or others nearby. Unlike some travelers, we spent almost every moment in the cabin (as planned), because, well, that's the experience we wanted this time. Next time, we'll explore some of the great restaurants, breweries, and other entertainment and dining options nearby.

Our experience with Midnight Moon cabin with Broken Bow Cabin Lodging My spouse, my 2 pocket beagles and myself just spent 3 nights at this cabin. We've been visiting Broken Bow for over 20 years and have never had a negative experience, until now. Day 1. The fireplaces inside and out would not work. Maintenance came and discovered we were extremely low on propane. There is no hot water except in the shower. I ripped a hole in a sock due to a nail exposed in the doorway of the bathroom. The light in the shower doesn't work. There is no closet or rod of any kind to hang clothes. Day 2. After many complaints to management, a propane service showed up to fill the propane tank. He discovered it was tagged as Do Not Fill. This indicated to him there is a leak somewhere. He agreed to fill the tank but had to test the whole house for leaks. No leaks discovered. The fireplaces still won't work. Another maintenance guy shows up to repair the non-working fireplaces. He couldn't fix them. At this time we discovered you can get hot water in other areas of the house as long as the shower is running. The maintenance man bled the hot water heater but it still didn't fix it. Day 3 A maintenence man fixed the fireplace in the house, but not the button on the wall that is supposed to run the fireplace. In order to operate the fireplace we had to reach into the fireplace itself to turn the knot on and off. We feared getting burned, but we're able to use it. Still another maintenance man came ro repair the outside fireplace, but didn't have any luck. As this last maintenance man was leaving, we watched him back out. His front driver's side tire was locked up, he continued dragging a pretty large trench down the driveway. We figured out that the shower light will work if other lights in the house are on. Day 4. We left Through all this, we had many upsetting phone calls with the office. They wanted us to contact maintenance and the maintenance supervisor. We even went to the office in an attempt to talk to a manager as no manager would call us back. Finally heard from the office manager on the afternoon of day 3. She was to talk to the owner and get back to us. We.haven't heard back. The cabin is near the highway so lots of road noise. It has 3 dollar store quality pictures and nothing else in the way of decor. Dirt dobbers inside the house. Due to the many comings and goings of maintenance, we didn't feel safe to leave.our dogs at the cabin. No blinds of any kind.on the home, and with maintenence in and out.. All of this limited our activies in Hochatown and disrupted our rest and relaxation. 10 out of 10 would not recommend. Question. If this cabin has ever been mopped, wouldn't the mop have snagged on the e posed nail?? Got a phone call from management today. They stated there is nothing they can do as it was not their fault.

Loft bedroom

We had the best weekend staying at the Magic Carpet cabin in Broken Bow. Everything was perfect and we had so much fun playing the old school video games, tabletop shuffleboard and relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin was beautiful and had all the amenities. Bed was comfy and the shower was great! We will be back! Jon & Diana Korgab

This cabin was perfect for 8 of us ladies. It was very clean, modern with great appliances. If you get this cabin, make sure to double check that the outside fireplace and jacuzzi is working.

Entrance to cabin, and I brought security.

I strongly recommend arriving during the day, because at night it's darker than dark Vader's breathe. This place is worth it believe me as we parked and entered the cabin you could hear the screams of OMG!!!!!! The decor gives you a vibe you are visiting a family member whom loves the great outdoors. The bedrooms were spacious, common area huge oh did I forget music s playing from an amazing sound system. Upstairs were two bedrooms with table top PAC-man, Foosball and additional chairs for watching. Outside wrap around patio that holds a pool table, grill and more seating. Once you step of ground you have a fire pit and horse shoes. The Piney Resort Cabin was relaxing, fun, and breathtaking.

We also discovered a dead roach underneath the router in the bedroom. While the overall comfort level was cozy, we called as soon as we arrived and asked if we could be switched to a different cabin. We were basically told by the owner that we had to get over it and that it was on us and that there were no refunds available. Also, we were explicitly told by them to keep the noise down, but we could hear loud, cackling, and belligerent neighbors all around us the two nights we stayed there. I was willing to let all of this go as we did not stay in the cabin for a majority of the time we were in Broken Bow, but I found out today that there were roaches in our luggage as well as the trunk in my car. I had to get my car BOMBED as well as call an exterminator to come to my apartment. Meanwhile, we paid this company money for them to lie to us as well as send us back with an infestation. Though Broken Bow was a great idea, we will not be returning to Beaver's Bend Lodging ever again as the overall experience was low brow and traumatic.

Every room has plenty of lighting choices and the air conditioning is amazingly cool! The first porch is located at the entry of the cabin, where you can find a gas grill, seating and a hot tub. This porch is semi-private as there is a neighboring cabin on this side and you are separated by some trees. There is good lighting on this porch that can manually be switched on (can be found by the hot tub). Moving on, a washer and dryer are available for use, we brought in our own laundry detergent but there was some provided! How thoughtful! There are two restrooms, however only the one in the master room has a shower. Both restrooms were clean and had plenty of towels and toilet paper! Wow! I was so glad to see this! The master bedroom is spacious, private and has a powerful ceiling fan that hangs from above for extra cooling at night. There is two way entries and the vanity mirror is separated from the restroom, making easier for someone to get ready while the other is showering. It also has an attached walk-in closet. The kitchen is spacious and has all the amenities you can think of! All pots, pans, cups, plates, spatulas and silverware provided! There is a microwave, stove/oven, fridge/ice machine, coffee machine, dish washer, two sinks, toaster, and even a crockpot to name a few! Cell phone service may not be as strong here but this cabin has got you covered with their complimentary wi-fi!! How great is that? I was able to face-time everyone back at home! There is a dining area and the living space has a couch and three recliners!! These came in handy with the little one!! The rocking chairs helped him go to sleep right like he does at home. The living space also has a foosball table and a nice screen tv (with cable-nice!) , radio, DVD player and family board games. The second bed space, upstairs, is nice however there is no closet. If you have a little one be extremely careful on this floor as the railing is spaced out enough for a small child to fall through and the stairs are a bit steep. (This is where you practice those excellent parenting skills). The back porch is private with no immediate neighbors and a beautiful view of the woods and fire pit area. Complimentary firewood was provided on our stay. (This place is just awesome). Overall, our stay was just amazing, peaceful and still very private. The cabin faces away from neighboring cabin so it still gives the feeling of seclusion. The cabin certainly exceeded our expectations and is clearly taken care of! Will definitely be coming back to visit!

We opted to rent 'Lost in the Music' from Hidden Hills. It's an amazingly beautiful 1 bedroom cabin with an upstairs loft nestled deep in the woods. The cabin cost for the weekend was $908.38. Yes, this is costly so surely 1 would expect their experience to perfect with no issues for concerns. *We arrived on Friday and within the 1st hour of settling in we discovered a dirty cookie sheet stored in the cabinet. I immediately placed it in the dishwasher as the smell was bad. I took this as a pure oversight on the cleaning crews part. *After taking a shower I noticed the water was not draining quickly. I looked down and noticed the drain was covered with brown hair. (I'm bald so this wasn't my hair). Also no one else had used the shower so this was not caught by the cleaning crew. Here's where the story gets detailed. Please note the 2 issues I just mentioned were not a big deal but I felt like they should definitely be mentioned. BTW these two incidents were mentioned to the management group via a text message when they occurred but I did not receive any response back. Back in 2014 I rented a cabin from Hidden Hills that was not clean and had many pieces of broken furniture. I shared my experience on several website only to be contacted by Angie-General Manager demanding that I remove my review. I was told they needed to be removed as they were slander. I was advised that if they were not removed she would get their legal team on me. I never removed my post as they were 100% factual and the truth. You'll notice when Hidden Hills receives a negative review it's always Angie replying back threatening legal action. She supposedly banned me at that time and black listed me with other companies. This was not true as I've rented from Blue Beaver Luxury Cabins with never any issues. As you can see in the pictures I've attached she is now threatening me again. At the end of the day I never asked for a refund or any type of credit. I was simply providing Hidden Hills feedback to ensure they knew of the concerns when it came to their cleaning crew. As you can see by the pics I was again threatened by Angie if I shared this experience. Now that I have been banned again from Hidden Hills I wanted to share this experience so you'll see what hateful management they have. Also please note this particular cabin is not safe for small children. All wkend we were in fear that my grandson fit between the wiring on the stairway. This is real concern at the landing on top of the stairwell. If you decide to visit Broken Bow please note there are SOOOOOO many other rental cabin companies that are more deserving of our hard earned money. Please note that I emailed Angie asking her to send me an apology and all would be forgiven. She refused with no response back to my request.

Our stay @ #Seven Eagles Cabin by Vacation Broken Bow Lake was a good one with pros and cons that…read moreeveryone should be aware of. Pros: Fairly secluded, well furnished cabin at a great price. The Seven Eagles cabin is great for couples looking for a little room, yet still wanting to enjoy a cozy cabin feel. The small patio is great for a morning cup of coffee and the eagles carved in the post add to the great ambiance. The cabin is located back in the woods, 5-10 minutes from Beavers Bend State Park and Hochatown so the location is ideal for cabin goers wanting a getaway without being to far away. Cons: The cons aren't necessarily detractions from renting but things you will want to consider. The Seven Eagles boast two rooms, however one is only accessible via a ladder and even for the young is pretty steep. Their is only one shower and it is in the master bathroom and cut off from the rest of the cabin. The shower is also designed for someone less than 6' tall. The hot tub is drained after each rental (pro) but that means you won't be able to enjoy it on your first day due to not having time to get up to temperature. The steps up to the cabin are slippery and can be difficult to navigate with heavy luggage, so elderly beware. During our stay there were multiple lights out or not working which was a nuisance more than anything else. BIGGEST SURPRISE: Although the rental doesn't include a daily charge that many furnished cabins do, we were surprised by a hand written note requiring us to wash our towels and not the bedding. First, having renters do laundry for towels other people will use on their body doesn't feel sanitary. Secondly, having to do laundry for ~2hrs on your vacation is not fun, especially since you will likely have to do it on the last day which already ends early with an 11am checkout. The cabin rental also requires you to take out the trash and do dishes which aligns with the rental agreement to "leave the cabin tidy". However, there is something very unsanitary about asking previous renters to clean all the items for the next renters.
