I could live here. My wife and I did a two night stay in the Dreamtime Retreat Cabin and it was everything we had hoped for and more. I admit it might be a little pricey but let me tell you it is worth it. I am pleased with the amount I paid and the experience we had by far. The escape from the city (Dallas), being outdoors, quality time, having everything you need and the luxury amenities in the cabin are just what we needed. I booked this months ahead and they sent me all the paperwork I needed to be prepared for this adventure. I was a little worried that it might be hard to find but it was fairly easy and our Waze app lead us to the front doorstep of our cabin. Upon entering, we were wowed by how clean it was and the cool decor style of the whole place. Whoever decorates this place has a knack for what they do. I would say this particular cabin should be reserved for a couple looking for romance. We had a great time running around Broken Bow but we kept saying to each other let's go back and hang out at the cabin it was so awesome. We spent alot of time on the back patio enjoying nature and took a few walks. Do not be afraid of the the two dogs that may approach you while walking (white german shepard and blue heeler) they are very friendly and just want to walk with you. They will not harm you although they do wrestle with each other playing around. They actually walked ahead of us acting as if they were scouts protecting us. It's a good idea to go ahead and pay for firewood depending on how many nights you stay. I will say that the firewood they supplied is high grade. I ordered 50 pieces I thought I was going to burn through easily but I built a nicely stacked fire and the burn duration for the first few logs lasted so long I had plenty left over I kept so just know that their wood will burn for a long time it's not cheap wood. That kinda goes back to getting your moneys worth out of this place which they do deliver on that promise. The grill is good. Hot tub rules. Shower is out of this world. Bed is comfy. Pool table awesome. Patio rocks. TV/tunes all good. Nature good for your soul. Overall it was a great experience and we would DEFINITELY come back here. We came back to Dallas refreshed and destressed. Dreamtime Retreat is for sure 5 stars.

Every room has plenty of lighting choices and the air conditioning is amazingly cool! The first porch is located at the entry of the cabin, where you can find a gas grill, seating and a hot tub. This porch is semi-private as there is a neighboring cabin on this side and you are separated by some trees. There is good lighting on this porch that can manually be switched on (can be found by the hot tub). Moving on, a washer and dryer are available for use, we brought in our own laundry detergent but there was some provided! How thoughtful! There are two restrooms, however only the one in the master room has a shower. Both restrooms were clean and had plenty of towels and toilet paper! Wow! I was so glad to see this! The master bedroom is spacious, private and has a powerful ceiling fan that hangs from above for extra cooling at night. There is two way entries and the vanity mirror is separated from the restroom, making easier for someone to get ready while the other is showering. It also has an attached walk-in closet. The kitchen is spacious and has all the amenities you can think of! All pots, pans, cups, plates, spatulas and silverware provided! There is a microwave, stove/oven, fridge/ice machine, coffee machine, dish washer, two sinks, toaster, and even a crockpot to name a few! Cell phone service may not be as strong here but this cabin has got you covered with their complimentary wi-fi!! How great is that? I was able to face-time everyone back at home! There is a dining area and the living space has a couch and three recliners!! These came in handy with the little one!! The rocking chairs helped him go to sleep right like he does at home. The living space also has a foosball table and a nice screen tv (with cable-nice!) , radio, DVD player and family board games. The second bed space, upstairs, is nice however there is no closet. If you have a little one be extremely careful on this floor as the railing is spaced out enough for a small child to fall through and the stairs are a bit steep. (This is where you practice those excellent parenting skills). The back porch is private with no immediate neighbors and a beautiful view of the woods and fire pit area. Complimentary firewood was provided on our stay. (This place is just awesome). Overall, our stay was just amazing, peaceful and still very private. The cabin faces away from neighboring cabin so it still gives the feeling of seclusion. The cabin certainly exceeded our expectations and is clearly taken care of! Will definitely be coming back to visit!

The hot tub was clean and easy to just turn the jets on when we wanted to use it. The cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and they had plenty of pillows for all of us. The air mattress was surprisingly comfortable as well. It was not the standard air mattress, this one was very a thick queen size mattress. The bathrooms were huge with dual showerheads in both walk in showers. We enjoyed the corn hole game outside. We saw deer and rabbits from our patio every day. The only downside is that there is some noise from the highway when you are outside, but it didn't bother us. We will definitely return to Journey's End on our next Broken Bow trip.

Beautiful Cabin however horrible customer service from the management team at Hidden Hills…read more I love to visit Broken Bow when a small getaway is needed. We opted to rent 'Lost in the Music' from Hidden Hills. It's an amazingly beautiful 1 bedroom cabin with an upstairs loft nestled deep in the woods. The cabin cost for the weekend was $908.38. Yes, this is costly so surely 1 would expect their experience to perfect with no issues for concerns. *We arrived on Friday and within the 1st hour of settling in we discovered a dirty cookie sheet stored in the cabinet. I immediately placed it in the dishwasher as the smell was bad. I took this as a pure oversight on the cleaning crews part. *After taking a shower I noticed the water was not draining quickly. I looked down and noticed the drain was covered with brown hair. (I'm bald so this wasn't my hair). Also no one else had used the shower so this was not caught by the cleaning crew. Here's where the story gets detailed. Please note the 2 issues I just mentioned were not a big deal but I felt like they should definitely be mentioned. BTW these two incidents were mentioned to the management group via a text message when they occurred but I did not receive any response back. Back in 2014 I rented a cabin from Hidden Hills that was not clean and had many pieces of broken furniture. I shared my experience on several website only to be contacted by Angie-General Manager demanding that I remove my review. I was told they needed to be removed as they were slander. I was advised that if they were not removed she would get their legal team on me. I never removed my post as they were 100% factual and the truth. You'll notice when Hidden Hills receives a negative review it's always Angie replying back threatening legal action. She supposedly banned me at that time and black listed me with other companies. This was not true as I've rented from Blue Beaver Luxury Cabins with never any issues. As you can see in the pictures I've attached she is now threatening me again. At the end of the day I never asked for a refund or any type of credit. I was simply providing Hidden Hills feedback to ensure they knew of the concerns when it came to their cleaning crew. As you can see by the pics I was again threatened by Angie if I shared this experience. Now that I have been banned again from Hidden Hills I wanted to share this experience so you'll see what hateful management they have. Also please note this particular cabin is not safe for small children. All wkend we were in fear that my grandson fit between the wiring on the stairway. This is real concern at the landing on top of the stairwell. If you decide to visit Broken Bow please note there are SOOOOOO many other rental cabin companies that are more deserving of our hard earned money. Please note that I emailed Angie asking her to send me an apology and all would be forgiven. She refused with no response back to my request.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!…read more I wanted to do a surprise birthday party for my husband and I decided on this company to rent a cabin. We rented the Country Cabana First off I am OCD on cleanliness. This cabin was maculate!! It was EXTREMELY CLEAN!!!! The cabin had wood floors threw out and they were like polished glass!!! Second off this cabin literally came with everything!! I'm not even exaggerating! The kitchen was fully equipped with EVERYTHING! There was a full pantry with all your kitchen accessories, seasonings, stuff to make cake, coffee, creamer and even a juicer! I'm telling you everything! Bathrooms had everything, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and bubble bath, towels. Laundry room was stocked with laundry soap and stain remover. This cabin had tvs threw out the place, inside and out. Lots of broad games, pool table, corn hole, pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen. You don't even need to leave the cabin. If you did for any reason at the entrance to the cabins there is a grocery store, liquor store and mini golf/go-carts. I highly recommend this cabin! I will come back to this cabin, it was the best experience!!

Our stay @ #Seven Eagles Cabin by Vacation Broken Bow Lake was a good one with pros and cons that…read moreeveryone should be aware of. Pros: Fairly secluded, well furnished cabin at a great price. The Seven Eagles cabin is great for couples looking for a little room, yet still wanting to enjoy a cozy cabin feel. The small patio is great for a morning cup of coffee and the eagles carved in the post add to the great ambiance. The cabin is located back in the woods, 5-10 minutes from Beavers Bend State Park and Hochatown so the location is ideal for cabin goers wanting a getaway without being to far away. Cons: The cons aren't necessarily detractions from renting but things you will want to consider. The Seven Eagles boast two rooms, however one is only accessible via a ladder and even for the young is pretty steep. Their is only one shower and it is in the master bathroom and cut off from the rest of the cabin. The shower is also designed for someone less than 6' tall. The hot tub is drained after each rental (pro) but that means you won't be able to enjoy it on your first day due to not having time to get up to temperature. The steps up to the cabin are slippery and can be difficult to navigate with heavy luggage, so elderly beware. During our stay there were multiple lights out or not working which was a nuisance more than anything else. BIGGEST SURPRISE: Although the rental doesn't include a daily charge that many furnished cabins do, we were surprised by a hand written note requiring us to wash our towels and not the bedding. First, having renters do laundry for towels other people will use on their body doesn't feel sanitary. Secondly, having to do laundry for ~2hrs on your vacation is not fun, especially since you will likely have to do it on the last day which already ends early with an 11am checkout. The cabin rental also requires you to take out the trash and do dishes which aligns with the rental agreement to "leave the cabin tidy". However, there is something very unsanitary about asking previous renters to clean all the items for the next renters.

This was however the WORST WEEKEND EVER! TWO NIGHTS, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT, we were awakened by a very loud party at your location - Laketime. My girlfriends and I were staying in a different cabin. Under age drinking and pot smoking were both going on. We called the Sheriff's office both Friday and Saturday nights and they were worthless! So here is the thing, the owner of the cabin we stayed at - a woman- came to our cabin at 2:00 in the morning saturday night to assist us, and whoever answered your phone, couldn't be bothered. COULDN'T BE BOTHERED. He said and I quote, "I HAVE 2 KIDS - CITY OF HOCHATOWN DOESN'T HAVE A SOUND ORDINANCE, WHAT CAN I DO?" I get it, we live in a different society, but I HAD TO SUGGEST HE CALL THE PEOPLE THAT RENTED THE CABIN - "OH YA, I CAN TRY AND FIND THEIR NUMBER". I doubt he did. I looked up your policies on your website and clearly states no parties. If you have a party - you will be asked to leave. I suggest you follow your policy in the future! I have worked in Customer Service for the past 20 years. Never in my life have I felt unheard, and unsupported. I am really disappointed in Creative Escapes and lack there of to show care and concern.

I hate to be effusive but, once inside, the phrases didn't stop. The cabin is at once elegant and unassuming. It's simply built and decorated in a wonderful way. I can't say enough about the quality of the craftmanship. No worries about 'pictures not matching the experience' with this property. You won't be let down and left wondering if the photos were actually taken at the place in question. Here, the photos don't do it justice. It's nestled in the woods with trees all around, but has a convenient drive up so it's not a hassle getting luggage inside. The views are stunning, and the appointments super comfortable, from the beds and linens, to the shower/bath features and amenities, to the Apple tv casting, letting me cast from my Apple phone/ipad onto the tv (we were able to download movies to our ipad then cast them to the tv for viewing). We're hoping to hop in the hot tub on our next visit! And, don't think that just because you're 'in the woods' you're cut off from civilization! There is plenty of "support services" nearby, including night spots, restaurants, and so much 'outdoorsy' stuff to do. If you're looking for a 'little cabin in the woods' that is superbly comfortable and simply a delight to look at, then you'd be hard pressed not to give this beautiful place a look.
