We stayed at Jake 's Place. It was a cute little place and would have been fine except the bed was in such poor shape. The middle sagged and the head was lower than the foot of the bed. I reported this the first day and was told there was no other beds available except a blow up bed. I said "Well if you will just take the bed out of the cabin and leave the mattress that will be fine." The manager said "No we can't take any property out of the cabin without the owner's permission. ". So, I mentioned how small the place is and that the bed would have to come out for a blow up mattress to fit in. She said I would not like the blow up mattress anyway and that she would talk to the owner about taking the bed out for our stay. The next day I texted them to see what the decision was but I never heard back. The last day of our stay I went to the office to tell them how disappointed I was but there were no managers on duty that day as they were out on Friday morning for the weekend. I must say too that there were little bugs everywhere in the kitchen. As soon as you brought food in they come out from the woodwork. I am not sure what they were but we had to keep our things outside for a few days to insure we didn't take bugs in the house. I would not recommend bringing any food home with you. They claim these are luxury cabins with luxury service. This is far from the truth! read more

We had a great time once again, year 7 in a row I believe now. Sometimes multiple stays in a year. This was by far the nicest cabin so far. The cabin was very clean and borderline luxurious. They Broken Bow Cabin Lodging staff was excellent as always and even allowed us to check in and out an hour early upon request. The rooms and entire cabin was very spacious. The common remark from the weekend was just how nice it was. I can't say enough about the front, back and upstairs decks, the retro arcade gaming system, the media/entertainment room, king sized bedrooms, etc. I could go on and on. We WILL be back again later this year and annually every year. Hats off to Broken Bow Cabin Lodging and their relentless drive to make us as the customers, the best possible. Gratefully, Steven read more

Stayed in Stix n Stones!!!!!! The cabin itself is beautiful and we were so excited! We grilled, played games, sat on the back porch, and enjoyed ourselves. The one complaint I had was the roaches, it's just gross, they were house roaches, crawling the the kitchen, and bathrooms, and rooms. I know we were in the woods, and I would have been okay with spiders and stuff of that nature but the little house roaches concerned me, and made me a little uneasy. To be cooking in the kitchen and having to kill roaches is gross. There a lot of cabins in this area, I would love to return but I will try different lodging, hopefully finding a place a place cleaner and roach free. read more

The cabins are nice and setting is wonderful, but the attitude of the employees and hateful responses to customers are unacceptable. There are too many choices to spend money with people who don't appreciate their customers. Their policies make it obvious they long ago forgot how the customer-business relationship works. $25 to return any forgotten items? Really? Fortunately we got all all our stuff so we don't have to interact with them again...that is assuming that the double charge doesn't remain on my charge card...you should have seen the hateful correspondence that was exchanged when I pointed out that error. Add Sara to the list of rude employees in addition to the owner who has been mentioned in other reviews. Definitely go to Broken Bow but find your lodging elsewhere. read more

Spare Time Lodge was an amazing cabin! We stayed for a weekend and everything was perfect. The space was awesome, and it was impeccably clean and well stocked. The amazing view, open family space, games, hot tub, and creek in the backyard made for the most spectacular vacation. We will definitely be back! read more

I'm really not certain why they have such a low rating on here, but google ratings are really high. Just from experience, I think these cabins are pretty F**** cool! I had a nice little weekend getaway not knowing what to expect with their cabins. I was pleasantly shocked that their cabin was perfect. It had everything I needed for a weekend getaway. Frankly, I think I packed way too much because I took kitchen cookware and they already had everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying at one of their cabins. Plus they do have pet friendly cabins which made the trip that much more enjoyable. read more

We LOVED the cabin. The only thing I would add, not having access to the closets was a con. The game room was a huge plus and well as the other games provided. Overall all, we had a great experience here and will be back. read more

I recently stayed in a cabin managed by Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. The cabin was very nice and we had a great stay. My one complaint about BBCL is the staff's rudeness. Other reviewers on Yelp and Trip Advisor have mentioned Rusty and how rude he is, that is spot on. He is so rude and unhelpful . Well, we will take our business else where! I find it interesting that Yelp would leave up a 5 star review from Rusty W. He does have 2 cabins with BBCL, but Yelp should not let his review stay. He works for BBCL. So, take his review for what it is worth. My review of BBCL is, stay away and find a nice management company. read more

This is our 5th year in a row renting cabins in Broken Bow, Ok. We stayed in the Turtle Ridge Cabin. THIS WAS OUR FIRST AND LASTS RENTAL WITH BROKEN BOW CABIN LODGING. As other posters have listed Rusty is completely rude. He cares about the sale and please do not not make comments about their service or they avoid you and not take care of you during your stay. They only care about there sale. please see other posts on trip advisor as well. Let's just say with BBCL. it's buyer beware. To th actual home owners its a shame that these people ruin what is supposed to be a pleasant vacation. I guess repeat business is not what they are looking for and are satisfied with a one and done.... Please shop and look around befor settling on BBCL Y.E read more

I just spent the last weekend with friends. I had a great time. The cabin had three bedrooms and the theater room. There was a pool table, the big kitchen, and huge backyard with the porch. We tried to do a BBQ on the grill, but the gas ran out, so we couldn't do it. We called the maintenance number, and they suggested us to change the gas, but it was locked and we were unable to change it. We also had to wash the towels that we used during the stay. Besides that, this was the good place to stay. read more

The cabin we stayed at (moons over paradise) was wonderful. The sport court and fireplaces were so much fun. The pool table and game room was great for the kids and we had everything we needed in the cabin for supplies. We will be back! read more

Made a reservation, paid in full...along comes Covid. We had to cancel but management let us know that we woud be issued a voucher and would be able to use the voucher and reschedule. They ever sent the voucher but agreed on phone to honor our rescheduling. Today we tried to reschedule and they told us that summer rates are higher than what we paid and we would have to reschedule in the fall. Not a good deal but we tried to set up a time in the fall to make our trip. Then they told us they would have to charge us an additional $120 as they are increasing their rates and would not honor our reservations at the price we paid. If anyone asks me about the place, I will say the place is gorgeous but the owners are gougers and lack integrity. read more

We stayed at the Urban Cowboy this past weekend for our yearly family trip. The cabin was set up with everything we needed. I couldn't have enjoyed it more. It was very homey and roomy. We were a party of 20 and it accommodate all of us. We sing have any issues in the days we were there so that was a plus. I can't wait to go back and will definitely be staying here again. I loved it! read more

We have been doing a long weekend at Broken Bow for 13 years with my daughter, son in law and grandchildren. We have stayed in several different cabins but absolutely loved Southern Nights. Broken Bow Cabin Lodging group does a great job of letting you know what to expect. The house was clean and well appointed with really comfortable beds. We will definitely be back next year. read more

We had three couples stay at the Pueblo in the pines at at Beavers Bend and it was outstanding . The house was beautifully decorated and the staff without standing to deal with. We enjoyed the on deck hot tub and firepit every night. There was a LED TV in every room and a complete game room devoted to all kinds of games. We rented a pontoon boat and went out on the lake and enjoy the day. This is was an enjoyable trip. read more

So we have been to Broken Bow 5 other times and we stay in a different cabin each time but I think this will be a repeat! It's brand new so that's a bonus. There is a tree house WITH an a/c unit and a fan. A beautiful creek to go crawfishin' in and neighbors are at a good distance. The bathtub is big enough for me and both my kids, 3 bed rooms plus bunk beds and 3 full bathrooms! I will say, most cabins have things like fabric softeners and spices/oil, hair dryer, but this didn't... but I mean just bring or pick those up! (I'm only stating that so others will be aware) but you do get your towels, there is bars of soap, coffee packs, ice/water maker (which was something we've never had so that saved us from getting water), and other things. This place was just awesome!! read more

We stayed in the SkyView cabin for 4 days over Christmas and loved it. The cabin was beautiful and immaculate, it had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable for our stay. The fire pit and the hot tub were used everyday and the extra balcony on the second floor provided somewhere to sit for our teenager right off the second lounge. I would recommend highly. read more

This place is amazing. (We stayed at Stone Hollow) The communication with the company throughout the process was easy and clear. We had some questions about the hot tub and called the company and the person we spoke to was helpful and nice. Everyone I have spoken to by email or otherwise was super accommodating and helpful. Every step of the pre-trip process was seamless. Once we got to the cabin we were amazed. The cabin was clean, beautiful, serene and perfect for our group. It was easy to get to from town and we loved our stay. We had a ton of laughs and made a ton of new memories. We all agreed that we will definitely be back to Broken Bow and will use Broken Bow Cabin Lodging again for sure. Thank you for an incredible place to stay. read more

Uncle Bucks Cabin - We went for a long weekend to a Broken Bow and this cabin was perfect. Our two year old loved the play place out back. This company lures customers in with false promises of free nights. It used to be that if they were running a special, you could check the exclusions ahead of making an online reservation. You then emailed them to have the free night applied. With the onset of the pandemic, however, they began pushing back when you tried emailing about the free night; they'd claim your selected cabin wasn't eligible for a free night (even if it wasn't on the excluded cabins list), etc. More recently, they've erased almost all exclusionary language from their website, and placed a "Call Now" button beneath the "Free Night" language. When you call to have the free night added, you're apt to be told something like "You should have called before reserving", or "When it says holidays are excluded, it means all days within a week of the holiday", and so on - pretty much anything to avoid honoring the advertising. My advice would be to avoid BBCL at all costs. I've booked trips across the country and back, but never encountered anything like my last few experiences with Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. read more

We rented the Whiskey Hollow cabin from Broken Bow Cabin Lodging as a get away for our family. It was a beautifully decorated facility fully outfitted with everything needed for a great stay. Outside there was a hot tub, a wrap around porch with rocking chairs, an outside fireplace, a flat screen TV, table and chairs with an additional seating area. In the yard there was a fire pit surround by chairs and benches perfect for roasting hot dogs and making s'mores. The kids had a great time on the playground and the adults enjoyed playing horseshoes. Each of the three bedrooms had very comfortable king size beds, closets, and flat screen TVs. One of the upstairs bedrooms had a balcony. At night we liked to sit out there watching for wildlife. There is a feeder below in the trees and we saw deer coming to eat. The downstairs bathroom was beautiful with a giant shower with duel shower heads; one a rain shower from the ceiling. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Large fridge with filtered water and ice. A microwave, electric stove and oven, and a dish washer. All the pots, pans, cutlery, cooking utensils, dishes for at least 10, serving bowls and trays. The table seated 6 with additional 3 stools at the counter. The living room had a fireplace, TV, a couch and loveseat, and a coffee table. Upstairs in the small loft off the bedrooms was an arcade table that had the old favorites. All linens, towels and pillows were provided. The communication with the rental company was excellent. They were very attentive to our need and always responded quickly and professionally. All together it was a perfect place for us and will definitely come back. read more

We had a great stay. We stayed at a cabin called 'Off the Hook'. It was really great but before you rent a cabin make sure it doesn't have a horrible sewage smell. Our cabin did and it definitely effected our stay. The smell comes around multiple times a day and smells horrible. When the sprinklers come on they last probably 5 minutes and the smell lasts for a least a couple of minutes after. Other than that we had a great stay. The cabin was huge and the kitchen was wonderful. Although we had a few problems, we loved our stay. read more

Spare Time Lodge is by far the best cabin we've stayed in out of all our trips to Beavers Bend. If you're getting the family out of town for vacation, or the family together for a reunion, this is the cabin for you. We had so much fun on the patio grilling, watching baseball, enjoying the hot tub and the kids had more than enough to keep them busy inside and out. Kids playset, fire pit, horseshoes, games, shuffleboard, pool table and arcade games kept them busy the whole time we were there. The kids absolutely enjoyed the loft up the spiral staircase as their own little hidden spot. Can't suggest the Spare Time Lodge enough. read more

Overall, not a bad choice for a vacation spot. There were several small things, like the hot tub spa light not working and two of our showers were a little on the small side, but in total, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The house was very clean, organized, fully stocked, spacious and overall nice. The backyard was large, and the amenities made this cabin stay feel right at home. The spa was a nice ending to the days as well. I would recommend this company based on my one experience there. read more

The Twin Cedars cabin was very nice & all of us loved the layout of it! First though, the 2 showers in between the bedrooms. The water temp adjustment was poor. You could be showering & without moving it it would suddenly be scalding hot or freezing cold . The hot was very hot which could be dangerous for a small child & even elderly. It didn't matter where you set it, it still would just suddenly change temps on you which made showering very uncomfortable. The master bath, the sinks most of the time would not get hot water & then every once in a while, it would get hot water. We would let it run & run to get hot water but very seldom that it would. My husband shaved with cold water. Second, every bed really sqeaks when turning over & getting up. It was really annoying. You could even hear it through the walls. The mattresses were not the best for comfort but could have been worse. The cabin was very clean upon arrival! We really appreciated that!!! There were some light bulbs out in the fan on the deck. Also, even how pretty the upper windows are in the front bedrooms, something needs to be done about them with some sort of covering. As soon as the sun comes up, the room is very bright and glaring. The Cabin Manual needs to be redone because it is falling apart. This was my 3rd time to come to Broken Bow area since November 2019 and each cabin has been awesome. Working with your company has been very pleasant & responses to any questions have been addressed very timely! Twin Cedars is a very nice cabin & stocked very well. We had our daughters & husbands plus our 4 grandchildren! Everything worked out great! I do feel that this cabin has some age on it & is in need of a few upgrades. The bar stools are very rickety. By the fireplace on the deck has a gap of no railing that a child could just walk up to & fall off (and it is a good ways down) . It is hard to believe that the builder didn't do something there. Because of some of these things, personally I feel that $1,000 a night is pretty steep. Our family wants us to start coming to Broken Bow every year & they really would like to come back to Twin Cedars. I told them I would search others & then decide where to stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality & helping us for a pleasant stay, K.W. read more

We love love coming to Broken Bow. This company is super easy to book online for a luxury cabin. The online descriptions are exactly what you get. We've come out here three times in a row once a year and will continue to come out here as a tradition! read more

I am an owner whose cabins WERE managed by Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. I have read the complaints about Broken Bow Cabin Lodging,. Renters and owners need to be aware of the unprofessional and rude treatment from the staff of Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. When we saw our cabin was not clean,we would notify BBCL . But what we really questioned was the "resort fee" that BBCL is charging to the renters. No other management company in Broken Bow is doing that. We were told it was for future projects. It looks like to me that it is just another charge being passed on to the renters. BBCL has become too big to look after it's owners and renters. They could care less about us owners and you as renters, they figure there is enough other renters out there and owners, so they don't need your business. We moved 3 of our cabins, Hi Bear Nation Lodge, While Away Lodge, and Tree Top Retreat to another management company. If you were one of the renters who received a cancelation from BBCL regarding one of our cabins, WE ARE SO SORRY. PLEASE accept our apologies . It wasn't our idea to cancel your reservation. We would love to have you stay at our beautiful cabins. read more

In response to Rusty- If the customer service that we experience is in fact your "very best" then your "very best is seriously lacking. We have never in our lives received as awful of customer service as we received from Rusty & the other employees at Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. Rusty, Sara & Gloria all think it is appropriate to call a customer and yell at them in response to negative, honest reviews that were posted online. It is true that Rusty responded to our call of concerns within 10 minutes. What they refuse to acknowledge is the manner in which he treated my husband and I. He did not offer us several solutions & options. The only solution he offered was to send us home. We had just driven 4 hours with 4 very excited children & we didn't want to disappoint them. As I stated before, in hindsight, we should have left. It is true that we didn't contact them until after we left. This is in part due to the way Rusty treated us the first night. We were afraid that any complaints would leave us out our money & out our cabin for the rest of the weekend. The third cockroach that we found at the head of my parents bed wasn't found until 9 p.m. the night before the day we left. That was the final straw. If that had happened earlier in our stay we would have attempted to contact someone at BBCL & cut our stay short. I contacted a trusted pest control company in the DFW area to ask about roaches & if they are in fact found in the wilderness & common to find in cabins. I was instantly told no. He said that for every live roach you see inside, there are 75 more hiding that come out at night. We saw three during our stay so you do the math. They refuse to even acknowledge the other issues so I assume that those are acceptable to them. The overall dirtiness of the cabin, the broken window & the employee who barged in on us. Apparently those are all things that are to be expected if you stay with Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. It is true that Rusty offered a bottle of wine, but that came along with a snide remark. We didn't drink the wine. Our reviews are 100% based on what we experienced. We are an honest family & would never fabricate a false review. There are 4 adults & 5 children who can vouch for our experience. Leaving an honest review is not harassment, but Rusty calling from a blocked number & yelling at me because he didn't like the review I left IS harassment. The only thing we can do at this point is continue to warn potential customers of the poor experience that we had with Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. read more

Everything was wonderful during our stay. Your office was amazing in answering our questions and getting a stockpot to us for our soup- (which we left on the bar). The only problem we had was the bags for the corn hole game are coming apart and need to sewn back together so we didn't get to play with that game. Other than that it a was fantastic stay and there was so much else to do that it didn't bother us one bit not to have this available. I just wanted to let you know in case the next guest really wants to play! The deck, the hot tub, and the fire pit area were all amazing areas to relax, sit around and visit together. The picture perfect weather was just the icing on the cake for us. We're already booking our next stay. read more

If I could give "0" stars I would. Broken Bow Cabin lodging have 1 thing in mind, and it's their bottom dollar! We had a 4 night stay planned or early August and were very excited to be traveling from Massachusetts to visit OK for the first time. We were going to be renting a 4 bedroom luxury cabin with friends from TX. Everything seemed great and we were excited about our trip. Then Covid-19 happened. Coming from MA, which was devastated by the pandemic, we chose to not travel over the Summer. While it was heartbreaking to not see our friends, or experience the beauty of Broken Bow, we opted for our family's and our best friend's safety and health. Airline reservations were refunded as well as rental car reservations, with NO loss of deposits! I wish I could say the same for Broken Bow Cabin Lodging. Both families were charged their reservation deposit of approximately $195 each family. What could help as food or relief from not being employed due to this crisis, was kept in the pockets of the rental agency. Multiple calls were turned away with "sorry but that's our policy." Well in case you've been away for the last 3 months, policies are being adapted/changed to help and people are caring for each other and trying to get through this crisis together, not take money and say sorry! What a disappointment. Look out for this agency if planning a trip to the area. read more

For someone who goes to Broken Bow often (almost every summer), I must say this has been one of the worst experiences that I've had with any of the companies I've dealt with. I had planned on bringing a group of my closest friends down for my bachelorette party a month from today. Since Broken Bow is one of my favorite places, I always thought it would be the perfect place to relax and unwind before my big day! Needless to say, that is no longer happening.. During a time of crisis and uncertainty, this company has chosen money over customers, which is really sad considering this is completely out of our control. When I first reached out, they sent me an email back with social distancing guidelines that the president had recommended for Easter. I had sent this email well after he had changed it to April 30th, yet they told me when I had called the next day that this would not be changing even though it was wrong..Also, when I had called, they had an automotive message that had said to email them due to a high volume of calls. They emailed me back a day later, AFTER I had already called and canceled my trip ‍ We were planning on just rescheduling for a later date in the summer, but was told we would have to pay the extra cost if it was more during that time..Well, hello! Middle of peak season.. Of course it was going to be more. $500 more to be exact.. After finding this out, we decided to cancel considering our trip already been paid in full for months. Once again, this is out of our control, and the least they could've done is honor the price we had already paid. We decided to cancel the trip all together and lost out on our $119 deposit. I get this is a business, but in a time of a world wide pandemic, they should be more understanding and work a little more with their customers during such an already crazy time. Let's just say I WON'T be booking with them again! read more

Unprofessional, rude & scandalous are the first things that come to mind when thinking of my family's experience with Broken Bow. What should have been a smooth transaction has turned into my family of 10+ trying to get our refund back for over 2 weeks now. We canceled our reservations due to personal circumstances. While our reserved cabins were back on the site the same day & booked by another family, my family has yet to recoup our funds. In the midst of trying to get further explanation & confirmation regarding our refund, the employees at Broken Bow ignored my concern for clarification. Shortly afterward things took a shocking turn. Broken Bow blocked my phone number! If I called privately, I could get through. If I had someone else call from their phone, they could also get through. I could not believe a company who is under NEW management was blocking my attempts to get back money that is owed to me. Literally blocking my contact from them. When I got through to them using someone else's number, I was told by the desk clerk that management said they weren't allowed to communicate with me. New management definitely doesn't mean improved management. It is going on the third week and I still don't have any answers or a way to get them. Hundreds of my dollars sit in an account at this lodge & I am warning you not to spend one penny with them. They do not have their customers best interest at heart & they will go above and beyond to keep what isn't theirs. Where I'm from we call that stealing. Please don't be a victim of theft at the hands Broken Bow & their incompetent staff. read more
