This place has been around for a long time, even surviving COVID and I finally got around to trying it out. It was quiet for a Sunday afternoon, it looks like most people tend to opt for takeout. As for service, people tend to give Chinese restaurants a bad rep, but if you go in solely for the food, you'll usually be happy with what you get. Imperial spareribs: sweet and a bit tough to chew on, but I liked them. Nothing too special but if you ordered these as a sweet Chinese pork entree, they're a step above sweet & sour pork. Honey Walnut Prawns: they pack the walnuts and the sauce separately when you order takeout so it isn't soggy when you're back home! Yeah, it's nothing spectacular, and it's the classic flavor you expect from this very popular dish Combination Fried Rjce: I feel like you really get your money's worth with this dish, as they pack the takeout container full of rice and meats in this dish. I have a big appetite and I think this could feed two quite hungry people. I'd recommend this place as a decently valued restaurant to try. I always support local restaurants instead of chains when I can, and I'l be coming back here to try more!

This is the Crispy Pan Fried Noodle - Hong Kong Style! This is not my picture, but wanted to show you and hope you can try it. Yummy

I love the Crispy Pan Fried noodles. It is one of the best we had. Tried a couple of spots but this is far the best one, we also seem to go back to this one after trying places closer to home. Sadly the area looks deserted and I'm praying that their business in person will boom back up but overall their food is good. Cashier is also nice, when I come to pick up my food she already knows what I order, cuz I already the same thing. The reason why I left one star out, is because of the place looking deserted, it may need some fixing up so people can come and enjoy to eat in person just an FYI.

I visited location for lunch and was glad I did. I was greated by a very friendly host who sat me at a table by the entrance. I was served a soup before my meal which had great taste. I ordered their Kung Pao lunch special which consisted of chicken, beef and prawns mixed with vegetables, egg roll and a side of fried rice. It was full of flavor and delicious. As always, I ordered a zero coke, but had to settled for regular coke. This is a great place to try out. Plenty of parking and had no wait time. Location is big enough for large groups or a booth for 2.

Salt and pepper spare rib Amazing!!!

Beat Chinese Food in the area!! Must try!!! I don't even like Chinese. My husband LOVES Chinese. I Love this Chinese place.

Super hot hot & sour soup with lightly breaded shrimp tempura. The soup has a good amount of veggies and is super old school. Love it.

I made a very spontaneous visit to Hidden Dragon in the evening with my mom and was greeted with kindness by the folks up front. When we got inside it just reminds you of a really awesome traditionally set up Chinese restaurant. Very clean. From that point I knew we were about to have some good food. We got the hot and sour soup, tempura shrimp, sezhuan chicken, and kung pao chicken. Everything was a good temperature (for my mom and I, hot is great. Hot tea, hot soup, hot everything)flavorful, and nostalgic. Definitely coming in again.

Hidden Dragon "closed" sign.

The portions at dinner are huge and great if you have a big family. The lunch specials are a great value and they have a nice variety of lunch items to choose from. I like the Kung Pao Chicken and the fried rice. Very delicious! It would be so nice if they offered dinner specials for single diners. When I ordered dinner the other night it really was overpriced for one person. I didn't like the Mushu at all. Why did they add hoisin to the Mushu itself? ***Yuck!!!!***That's supposed to be a sweet condiment on the side of a savory dish and it wasn't at all yummy having it included inside. I wanted the usual contrasting flavors. Also; the Salt Pepper Tofu had a little too much baking soda in the crust and an off flavor, and I do rideshare, so the huge portions are wasted on me because taking food to go isn't even an option for me. I am giving 4 stars, because I had a 5 star exleriences and 3 star experiences here. They really need to offer plates to single diners at night instead of trying to make us purchase more food than we need, which is particularly disappointing when food quality isn't there. Uncle Wangs is my go-to restaurant when I am in Pittsburgh! Most of their food is top-notch and they have good service. They should also really consider turning down the volume of the to-go order bell. I will return to this restaurant at lunchtime to order something other than what I made the mistake of ordering the last time. They have lovely service, which makes up for the cook last time.

Both are extensive with a large selection. They have everything from mushu pork to chow mein to hot and soup and plenty of sushi options. My party mostly ordered sushi. I ordered the Beef Chao Fun (rice noodles with beef). My took a while to come out (around 35 minutes), but was delicious and a good sized portion. The beef was tender, the noodles were well seasoned, not too salty. My only note was that the bean sprouts were a little undercooked and did not seem as fresh. Service The owner was very hospitable, friendly, and warm. He sang happy birthday to several customers in both English and Mandarin and even had birthday decorations which was a really fun touch. Me and my family were so entertained! On a Friday night, there was no wait, but this spot is definitely popular and had a steady stream of customers even around 9pm. They clearly get a lot of regulars here which is always a good sign of great customer service. Overall, would return if in the area! Definitely a good spot to fix your Chinese or Japanese food craving.
