While the ambience appears nice, whoever washes the restaurant floor does so in a manner that leaves you sticking to the floor across the entire dining room. We were seated immediately with only a couple of other diners at tables, so there was very little activity when we arrived. We were given the opportunity to order drinks and food at the same time, and did so. At around 6:20, we had received drinks, but nothing else. No other attention was paid to us by our waiter. I did notice, however, that our waiter was engaged in a significant conversation with folks at the bar. When I went up to the bar to inquire as to our status, we saw clear evidence that our food order had never been put into the system and directed to the kitchen. I asked specifically if that was the case, and I was assured that didn't happen. Yet we didn't receive our food until 6:50, and it came out one meal at a time. The food at this restaurant is rather pricey, and if the food quality had been high, I would not have complained. But the food was lousy. It's about the only way I can describe it. Of the four meals ordered, only one was satisfactory. Brussel sprouts appetizer however was fairly good. The waiter used a momentary power glitch during a rain storm as the excuse for our order not getting to the kitchen, but the facts of the situation told a very different story. Not being told the truth when I made a direct request as to why our food was delayed, is flat out Unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. They've been in business under this name for two years, which is plenty of time to get their act together. They simply need to do much better or they won't survive.

With them closing at 9pm we understood to get our order in before the kitchen closed. We were sat near the front bar area with one other table nearby. Our waiter, younger guy who told us he was heading to college took our drink orders - I ordered an old-fashioned. The old-fashioned was not. At all. Oh well. To start we ordered the crab Rangoon cheese sticks and the Birria quesadilla. The cheese sticks came with sweet and sour sauce. These were ok - but cool on the inside. A dash cooler than lukewarm. Don't know. The Birria? Never came before entree. As an entree I ordered the steak which I ordered medium and came with mixed veg and potatoes. Then things really started to unravel. Our waiter took the time to talk to the nearby table about his busy schedule, his sports and theater productions, for a good 10-12 minutes. Meanwhile we were still waiting on that second appetizer, needed a refill, and hopefully our entrees. The other waitress had to bring out our meals. The sides were flavorful and good - the steak that our waiter piped up about? Cold. Shocking given the roundtable discussion with only one table and the kitchen having only two things to prepare. Also, steak wasn't medium. We asked about the Birria which "never was put in" and given how poorly the steak was I said I wanted the item. Birria was good but the consume dipping sauce was just red like cough syrup. For dessert we got the peanut butter pie. It was ok. Overall I would like to say it was OK (3 stars) but with the spotty service, the mediocre food - I have to go 2/5

What I did know is that I preferred not to dine at a chain restaurant. Low and behold, I took a right turn and ended up Mattie Street, and to my left was a very unassuming green "house." Once I approached and read the sign, I realized it was a restaurant. The welcome sign stating that this was a farm to table establishment was all I needed to convince me to walk in. Upon entering Roseadah's, I instantly felt very comfortable. This eatery has a very laid-back, cozy vibe that I particularly enjoyed. My family and I were the only ones dining at the time, so I had the opportunity to truly soak in this lovely eatery. The ladies who assisted us were both so very wonderful. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who's also the amazing chef, and her personality alone won me over! Now, on to the food. Delicious, scratch made appetizers and entrees. I enjoyed every bite! Not only did we enjoy our meals while there, we also decided to order some food to take home for dinner. My personal favorite was their duck bacon wontons, so good! We also drooled over their freshly breaded mozzarella sticks. (we are fried cheese fanatics). When you visit, definitely do yourself a favor and order those appetizers before your main meal. If I didn't have a reason to return to Auburn, I certainly do now.

Short wait time to order 10-15 minutes and short wait time for pick up. The small lobster roll is up to a whopping $26! It was fresh and packed with buttery lobster. The lobster tots were amazing, with a fair amount of lobster for $22. We shared both. The Brewery had cleared out a bit by the time we received food. Plenty of room at the bar and tables to enjoy our food. Huge improvement on two plus hour wait time last visit. But I think Mother Nature dictates the turn out at these events as well.

The truck opened right on time and it didn't take long to place my order. My order took about 10 minutes, 1 hot Connecticut Lobster Roll and 1 Cold Maine lobster Roll. It was a such a beautiful spring day I decided to open the back of my van and eat in the sun! ( There was no place to eat at this business.) The hot buttery Connecticut roll was tender and delicious, it had a nice amount of lobster meat. The other roll, the cold one had noticably less meat. I was disappointed but it was delicious and next time I'll try something else, people were saying that the lobster tacos and lobster quesadillas were very good too.
