It's a fairly busy restaurant but we were able to grab seats without issue. We opted for the Hawaiian roll, a selection of salmon nigiri (regular, smoked, and torched) and udon. The sushi was delicious, lots of flavor and filling. The torched salmon was our favorite, a nice thick, smoky cut. The udon worked well and it was a large portion that we ended up taking to go. They also had miso soup, corn soup, and black bean soup available, and all of those were great. A perfect touch to a cheap but good meal. Definitely a must! The quality for the price is great and glad to have another place like it around. Will definitely need to be back to try their other menu items!

So my suggestion is to get a table (if you can) and then order at the counter but if it's too packed, togo is still an option. Food came out pretty quickly too and I was able to go back and forth for miso soup at least two or three times. If I had to rank my favorite of the four items I ordered: 1. Smoked Salmon 2. Scallop Handrolls 3. Salmon 4. Oyakudon All were wonderful but the smoked salmon and scallop handrolls are the two pieces that I've been trying to search around Houston for what I think is the best.
