    Chicken Hibachi

Owner was super nice! Made sure I was happy with every detail of the food I was getting. I got the chicken hibachi and my husband got the hibachi chicken salad that came with a yummy ginger dressing. Wish I lived here to eat this more often. Perfect meal to take back to the hotel after a long day. Sooooo delicious!

100 A Health Score on Saturday, 9/21/19 This was my first time eating at this Restaurant. I was in Tucker, GA and I decided to eat at Hibachi Express for lunch. Well, I wasn't disappointed at all. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken for $5.99 that included Rice, Chicken, Zucchini, Onions and mushrooms. The entree also includes one Yum Yum Sauce. It was very delicious. The also have Hibachi Steak, Shrimp and Scallops. You can also Mix and Match Combinations. Each Entree is served in regular or large sizes from $5.99 to $12.99. You can choose three options for $14.39. The food is cooked to order and served hot. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the Cashier was very nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner and I'll be visiting it again real soon.

This food is fye!!!! I got the all 3 joint . Steak chicken n shrimp. Fresh and large portions!

At times, we do order in advance for take out, and the quality is just the same as if we were eating at the restaurant. Around 6 pm on the weekends, try to make reservation...

Service? Excellent. Ambiance? Relaxed and enjoyable. Food? Oh...MAN. Wow…read more.. I came here about 8 years ago with the same family members +1 family friend and we enjoyed dinner then, but it truly didn't compare to this visit. Previously, I had Kang Nam slated as an overpriced, but decent sushi place that serves meals on a more robust scale if you're dining with a party. However, the sushi back then was somewhat underwhelming. Last night, we had a phenomenal set. Hamachi, Otoro, Unagi, Ebi, and more! Every piece was delicately balanced and beautifully arranged. Honestly, I wasn't really expecting too much going in- and I'd only chosen Kang Nam as a place where I could get some decent sushi while my family got something else entirely. My mom had Don Katsu (served with a small dish of Japanese style curry sauce). My uncle got the Tempura Udon, of which they served the tempura shrimp on the side in a bed of tempura flakes. This is kind of genius, because you can make the decision on when you want to dip in your tempura instead of them bringing it and you have to down the tempura fast in order to still have it be crunchy... NOT HERE! It stays crunchy since they serve it separately. Love that. We had refillable banchan: kimchi, king oyster mushrooms, and glass noodles- all of which were delicious. We all received bowls of deliciously simple miso soup and we ordered a set of fried dumplings. Everything was great! That is...until the sushi came out. Wow. Presentation: 10/10. Flavor? 10/10. Portion-size: TEN OUT OF TEN, Y'ALL. The sushi rice was fantastic and they didn't use too much like a lot of places do with their nigiri. The toppings were functionally decorative. The sweet shrimp was especially pretty with two different colors of roe on top. The yellowtail didn't need the toppings it had- green onion and fish/squid flakes(?)- in my opinion, but they added a dimension of texture to the initial bite and a hint of flavor to the finish. The fish was perfect in every way: not too thick, no too thin, overlapping the rice by double to allow for perfect soy sauce dips without soaking the rice, and I just CAN NOT EXPLAIN how good each piece was... The sushi rolls were so delicious and every bite had wonderful textures and flavors, but my absolute favorite roll was the one with the smoked tuna on top- WOW! Absolutely stunned. Never - EVER - have I actually tasted the smoke flavor so clearly and completely. I am a HUGE fan of that one and I can't even remember the name of it...it's in the picture on the plate behind the sweet shrimp. The eel nigiri was also a highlight for me- as it's one of my favorite pieces of sushi, I always order several pieces. I was happily surprised to see they were nearly twice the size I get at other restaurants. Hands-down, the best otoro (fatty tuna) I've had in Atlanta. The sushi chef here also believes in giving special service by preparing some extra pieces for the customers as well. I only ordered one set of otoro, but next time....oh my...my bill is gonna hurt next time. Each 2-piece set of otoro is set at $17, so...yeah... It's going to be SO WORTH IT though. I will 10000% be back- soon. I might just get some Otoro, Hamachi, and one of those smoked tuna rolls...man. SO. RIDICULOUSLY. GOOD. Get in there if you haven't been in a while. Trust me!

It was perfection. i decided to try Enso because it's closer and wanted to compare especially with the stellar reviews. I ordered the Tonkotsu (of course), 3 different skewers, baos and a curry entre. The baos had incredible flavor but the texture of the pork was a little tough and chewy. All the skewers were just okay and small for the price. The garnish under the skewers was really good and flavorful. Now, on to my main thing.... The Tonkotsu. My whole purpose for coming here. Disgusting!!! The broth tasted like dirty sink water with no salt or flavor!! The pork was flavorless and not tender. The fixings were all blah. Such a shame because it was visually pretty. I was so disappointed. The waiter asked me how was it. I told her it was very lackluster. She didn't try to do anything to satisfy the customer. I kept it cute and didn't make a fuss because I knew Id never return. All the food looked better than it tasted besides the curry rice bowl which was good. If you want authentic, bold Japanese ramen and dishes (40% cheaper too) , take the trip to Okiboru. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because it was very clean with a nice bathroom. The food is easily 2 starts. (Lunch Menu. Not dinner).

Decatur Rd. at a very busy intersection, it sits tucked into a tiny shopping center, blink and you will drive right past it. Parking is limited, and you can immediately tell the small lot fills up fast, especially during peak hours. I stumbled upon Tenya while in town on a Tuesday, scrolling Yelp in search of a solid lunch spot, and I'm glad I did. This is a family-owned Japanese eatery that specializes in comfort food, and according to their website, everything is made from scratch, which absolutely shows in the quality. I placed my order online and picked it up with ease. I ordered the Shrimp Saku Saku appetizer along with a fresh garden Tenya salad. The shrimp were excellent, perfectly crispy with a flavorful panko coating that didn't feel heavy or greasy. The salad was impressively fresh and came with their house-made ginger dressing, which paired beautifully with the crisp greens and added just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy, with a decent amount of seating for its size. The customer service was warm and welcoming; the lady at the counter greeted me kindly and had my order ready shortly after I arrived, making the pickup process smooth and pleasant. A nice bonus is the selection of packaged Japanese snacks and drinks available at the counter, always a fun touch and something you don't see everywhere. Next time, I plan to dine in and explore more of the menu, along with sampling some of those snacks and drinks. Tenya is a great example of simple, thoughtfully prepared food done right. It was prepared perfectly--rich, velvety, and a great start to the meal. * Grilled Highlights: The kitchen really excels with the grill. The chicken skin is crispy and decadent, and the chicken liver is another major hit--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. * Seafood Favorites: My wife absolutely loved the steamed clams, and the grilled oysters were a hit as well. The octopus salad was also very fresh and well-balanced. The Sushi Bar: * Fish Selection: The quality and variety here are impressive. We ordered a mix of rolls and nigiri, including scallop, sweet shrimp, and tuna maki. * Quality: Every piece of fish was notably fresh. The only minor critique was the sushi rice--it was a bit dry for my personal taste, but the quality of the seafood more than made up for it. * Snail (Tsubugai): It's great to see more unique options like snail on the menu; it's a nice touch for those who appreciate traditional Japanese variety. The Experience: The menu is huge and well-rounded, offering something for everyone. Despite being our first time, the service was efficient and the pricing felt very fair for the quality and portion sizes provided.
