There's something to be said about simple and affordable grub. I'm no connoisseur of hibachi, but it's what my fiancé was craving, and at the end of the day, we finished our dinner full and satisfied. We ordered delivery and picked vegetable hibachi - one with extra veggies subbed for rice (all veggies, no rice-wasn't clear to my fiancé who ended up eating half my rice.) Also, crab ragoons . I really have to applaud the fry on the ragoons because they arrived crispy. We've done takeout where the fried food doesn't stay crispy on the 5-10 minute drive home, so great job! Our one complaint was the wrapper to filling ratio was too high on the wrapper. Nonetheless, delicious! As for the hibachi, I think it was great for the price. It's been awhile since I visited this place. Unfortunately, it appears the Hibachi Steak is Hibachi Vegetables with a side of steak. I was extremely disappointed and would've asked for additional meat had I known. In addition, the crab rangoons were salty instead of sweet. Ordered Soba noodles. One steak and shrimp and the other chicken. First off the proteins were very good, but not much of it. Tons of ramen noodles that obviously came out of a bag like Top Ramen. Additionally, the noodles were over-cooked and mushy. Very disappointing! I would recommend driving over to Miami Blvd first New Japan. Clean and cute. The food was probably the worst that I have ever had In my life. The Shrimp Fried Rice was oily and was just not pleasant to eat. The yakisoba side dish looked like ramen noodles, not sure what the sauce was but not good. Also had a California roll and took one bite and threw it away. Waste of $24, bit lesson learned. Very solid option for hibachi. My family is divided on the review which is why it's 3/5 stars for us. The customer service is great. Portions are very generous. Half my family says the food is too bland and it is all one note the other half say it's fine. If you're craving some hibachi this place is a solid option, but it's congruent with the prices and there are more seasoned options in the immediate area. I can understand that we are going through a pandemic and that restaurants have raised their prices to adjust for losses took during pandemic but when u buy a hibachi steak and shrimp and look more like a vegetable plate something is wrong with that. If you are raising prices give the same amount of food in the plate prior pandemic. If you gonna give smaller than bite size pieces I can't no longer support your restaurant. When I purchase something I have a expectation for it to be what you said it will be on menu. I got the chicken/shrimp/steak combo, and was pleasantly surprised at the large portions, more than enough for myself and my friend to eat. The triangle lacks in one stop Hibachi restaurants. After searching for years now, Hibachi 101 has something special going on! The prices are right, quick services, and classic hibachi! The space is big enough to serve multiple customers without having to fight for a seat. The food is fresh with a side of white/shrimp sauce! I like the balance of vegetables and meat. The fried rice could be a little be softer but I kinda like the harder texture. I think I've found my go-to hibachi restaurant for lunch! read more

This is my favorite hibachi spot in the area. I come here regularly for lunch during the week. There is always a crowd and sometimes not enough seating because so many people go here during peak hours. This place does have plenty of seating on the contrary, they can just can get slammed sometimes. I've never had any issues with any of my orders ever. This is my first Yelp checkin but I've been eating here for at least 5 years. This place looks exactly the same. I just wish they would eventually add some TVs! They also do not have any outside seating. I believe it's feasible to AT LEAST add 2 two top or four top patio tables out front. The noodles are actually ramen noodles and not traditional soba noodles, but I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Everything was pretty good but a bit under seasoned. This place has very good value for the price you pay. Portions are very large and the food tastes like pretty good standard hibachi. They got your typical white sauce and ginger sauce stations. I got their hibachi chicken for $7.50 and my wife got the chicken yakisoba for $7.99. I was satisfied with mine. I will say that the noodles they use for the yakisoba looks and tastes exactly like instant ramen noodles. It was just basically instant ramen stir fried in a wok. If you don't like instant ramen noodles of any sort I wouldn't recommend getting yakisoba. But like I said earlier, they gave a hefty portion so that kinda offset the noodles for me. I don't usually review but this is some of the worst hibachi I've had. The "fried rice" taste like straight unseasoned steamed white rice. The only way it looks this way in the photo is because I drenched it with soy sauce which still barely gave it any flavor. The steak is in very small pieces and literally has the same thing going on as the rice...no flavor. That brown water at the bottom may look tasteful, but it tastes just as I said...like brown water. These 4 and 5 star reviews on here blow my mind, hence why I had to get on here and write this review.
