The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. We are customers for life!

Everything we own packed was into seven suitcases, and so we needed help to get from the airport to our hotel in Salem. The choice was an Uber, which would not have worked for our situation, or a luxury car service. Hewar was wonderful from when I first called him to arrange our trip. He was attentive and patient, even when I called him multiple times with questions. The manager, Rasheem, met us at baggage claim. Our driver, Zhieco, was professional and friendly. He helped us get our (very heavy) luggage into the hotel. On the other hand, the company I called first did not give me a chance to explain why we needed help at baggage claim. As soon as he heard that, he immediately said he couldn't help me. He threatened to post my phone number online when I wrote him a one-star review. I was shocked. I would've taken it down, regardless, because I don't post bad reviews. So, I was especially glad to talk with Hewar on my second phone call. I highly recommend Elite. If I ever need a service like this again, I will for sure call Hewar.

Some time has passed since this incident, in part because our family has been dealing with the…read moreafter-effects - but it's important to share this because the impact of tow truck operator Tim's actions has stayed with us, and moments of real integrity deserve recognition. Over Labor Day weekend 2025, my son was involved in a very serious accident while towing a horse trailer. A car several lengths ahead of him suddenly stopped on Hwy 126 after missing a turn, and my son made a split-second decision to veer right instead of continuing straight - preventing a much worse outcome and possibly saving lives. Two people thanked my son at the scene for his quick thinking. The driver who caused the accident drove off. My son's truck was totaled, and the horse trailer ended up several feet into the rear of the truck, creating a complex and unsafe recovery. AAA was called, and no drivers were willing to take the job - until Tim stepped in. Tim went far beyond a standard tow. He helped remove the trailer from inside the truck, then towed the vehicle to Bend late on a Friday evening, knowing everything would be closed until Tuesday. When we arrived, there was no after-hours drop-off available. Dispatch told Tim he could leave the truck - and me - there, but he refused. Tim would not leave the truck to be towed by the city, nor would he leave me stranded in an unfamiliar place. He helped find a safe alternative, and I stayed overnight in the damaged truck to protect my son's work tools until we could return with a U-Haul. Even after all of this, Tim went back to where my son was staying with the trailer - in an area with no cell service - just to make sure he knew I was safe. That was care he did not have to give. We tipped Tim generously, but no tip could reflect the integrity, compassion, and humanity he showed. While many people have moved on from the accident, it's something my son still lives with. It brings us comfort to remember that, in the middle of chaos, Tim showed up with heart. Santiam Towing & Recovery should be incredibly proud to have Tim.

She had to go all the way to Eugene which is a two hour ride. I found Portland Luxury on Yelp and the owner Billy put me and my wife at ease. He tracked my daughters flight information, picked her up directly at the airport and texted her before she landed with all of the directions on where to meet. He even texted me when he picked her up and at the end of the ride to confirm she arrived safely. I am from the New York area and did not have a connection in Portland but I am so great full for Billy and Portland Luxury. He was a guardian angel who made sure my daughter got to her location safely. I recommend this company to everybody. If you are landing in Portland give Billie a call!
