Amazing experience overall. Total Care Trans was recommended from a Porsche PPI shop, and I'm so glad I went with this company. Antonio was my contact person, who was amazing and always available from the beginning to end. I was getting a car shipped from NC to CA, which required careful planning. They were flexible with the timeline, and the car arrived in just 5 days from the pickup date. The driver, Todd, was also very courteous and readily available. The car arrived in fantastic condition. This was by far the best cross country car shipping experience. Thank you!!! read more

Total Care Trans - Car - Vehicle Shipping Near Me

Total Care Trans did an amazing job delivering our vehicle! Elwood was very professional and updated our vehicle transport every step of the way. He's a great guy to work with. Mike, who was transporting was great as he let us know where the car was at all times. He had a very clean and enclosed trailer and took great care of our vehicle. I highly recommend this company for any transport needs! Thank you for the great service! read more

Time did a great job with communication and asked thoughtful questions before providing a quote. I will say I had several quotes from other businesses with no clarifying questions asked and the range was all over the place. The quote provided was right in the middle of the range, and true to his word, there were no extra or hidden charges when the car arrived. The car pick up in ND went smoothly and the car was in great condition when it arrived in PDX. If we had to ship another car again, we would definitely reach out again. read more

I recently used Nate's service again in July this year and I have to say nothing less than 5 stars for his business! Consistency is key and they definitely have it. Nate was very responsive and remembered doing business with me so he was able to find the best pricing for me to ship my car to Utah. He understood how much I loved my car and ensured to find a driver that would take good care of my car. The driver was on time and had good communication. He delivered my car on time and most importantly, NO DAMAGES!! I was very happy upon delivery. Very happy to do business with Nate again and he definitely has a customer for life. I have referred lots of friends/classmates to use TOTALCAREtrans who were happy with their service and I will continue to be a loyal customer as well for future shipments of my car! read more

Total Care Transportation is first class all the way. We've probably done seven or eight cars with them and I've never had one iota of issues. In fact, I've never had to handle anything extra other than a couple emails with where they're picking up the car at and they take it from there. The car appears shortly there after to the west coast at our location from the east coast. Both Jimmy and Nate are amazing and magicians for all I can say! Highly recommend!! read more

In contrast to rave reviews below, my experience with Jimmy Page was anything but satisfactory. I needed to transport a classic car from Oregon to New Jersey within a ten day time frame (in July). I found TCT on the internet and spoke with Mr. Page who assured me (verbally and in writing) that my car would be delivered with a 4-5 window. This was critically important to me as I had travel plans, and I even implored Mr. Page not to overpromise. My car was picked up a day late and five days stretched into six and seven and eight as the car was in transit. I tried numerous times to contact Mr. Page for updates and I was either stonewalled or ignored. At one point Mr. Page condescendingly informed me that "transportation is imprecise." My car arrived 13 days later. I will not editorialize. My description Is factual. read more

I very much wanted to like them and ultimately my vehicle arrived at the destination albeit 2 days pass the committed date. But that's not on Elwood as a broker, that's on the actual carrier. What's on Elwood is the following that is unacceptable due to lack of communication with a customer. After initial contact and how much of a "great choice" I made because the relationships TotalCAREtrans had with local carriers and an initial target of a Monday pickup, it turned into a Thursday pickup. Not big deal, he's a broker, he can only work with carriers that are available. He promptly asked for $200 payment for his end of the transaction with the remainder to be paid to the carrier upon delivery. It all made sense. Where things fell apart was scheduled pickup on Thursday never happened, and I had to figure out why, I wasn't notified. 1. A 2 hour window of 4pm-6pm goes by and I ended up having to call Elwood. Stirke one... why do I need to follow up? Why aren't you my broker doing this logistics for me and GIVING ME an update? I paid you a handsome fee. The carrier calls me and apologizes b/c the local driver's family had an emergency. 2. Next day, the car is picked up and the local driver tells me he has no update on the delivery time (he was the one with the family emergency), the carrier office will have to give me an update. Wait a minute, where's my broker? So I inquire on Friday, and Elwood says in a text "I'll call you shortly" 3 hours go by, no call. I ask again and he responds "I'm checking now". All of Friday evening goes by no update, not even a courtesy call to say that he's tried and no luck will keep trying, we'll shoot for Saturday update, nothing. Strike two. 3. By Saturday after several calls to the carrier, the lady I've interfaced with texts me back and my simple question was "you delayed one day, I need to understand ETA such that my recipient needs to change plans if it's going to be a day later than scheduled". She says Monday afternoon. Unfortunately THAT was wrong too. They showed up Tuesday late morning! Where is the broker? Only on Saturday evening does he respond by saying "sorry, he's left a message but they aren't responding". In the auto transport industry the tangled web of brokers and carriers makes it extremely challenging to assure a carrier one can trust. I will give credit where credit is due, the carrier TotalCAREtrans used for me appears to be reputable and they were local. If your scheduled commits fall into place, super, you got a good experience and you can review 5 stars. I however got hardly any response from Elwood after he got his $200 broker fee. All I got were broken promises to update me on a situation to be very fair the carrier caused, but once again, what did I pay the broker for? $200 for just the initial scheduling or to assure I as a customer get updated every step of the way. Buyer be warned. read more

They were very responsive and very helpful in getting my new purchase delivered to my garage. Jimmy was able to arrange transport across the country and car was delivered in a week from my initial contact. Would definitely call again. read more

Recently bought a car from out of state and was looking around for a transportation service. I stumbled upon TotalCaretrans and decided to request a quote for an enclosed transportation for my car from them. I was fortunate enough to be contacted by Jimmy. He was polite, professional and attentive. We were waiting for the paperwork to be sent over to me and have it sent back to the dealer before the car could be released. During this whole time, Jimmy was in contact with me and also with the point of contact in the dealership as well. Best of all, the moment the car was available, Jimmy managed to get me an enclosed transport within a day or so (none of that usual 3-4 days wait time before a truck could pick up etc). Jimmy made everything so simple and had all the details. He got the driver to send me pictures of the car (which i'm sure is what most buyers would love to have of their new baby) however the best part? He had the transport come so much earlier than i thought. Car came perfect and i couldn't be happier. Glad i had Jimmy to assist me with the whole transport, service was amazing, price was reasonable and the whole experience was great. Will definitely contact him again in the future for any vehicle transport. read more

TOTALCAREtrans just dropped off my latest vehicle. Just as in the past three deliveries, number four was outstanding in every way. Jimmy did a great job in arranging shipment at a fair price. Once the dealership received my payment for the vehicle, I called Jimmy to arrange pickup and delivery. Just like that, the car was picked up the same day and delivered the next. Prescott, AZ to Los Altos, CA. Driver, Robert, was great at keeping me informed with updates on his progress. As I am a serial car buyer, I know I will be using only TOTALCAREtrans in the future. read more

You can't ask for anything better than dealing with Jim and his honesty, integrity and all around good guy! We;ve found our car cArrier and will never look anywhere else! Thank you Jim! I used TTC twice in the last six months. First was to ship an inoperative 64 TBird from Chattanooga to Kansas City. Jimmy worked with the carrier even when the seller of the Bird wasn't available and the car was not ready as promised. He found a new carrier and delivered the car without issue. Most recently I had a 2004 Nissan 350z shipped from Norco California to Kansas City. It went without a hitch and arrive a day early. It is always good to work with Jimmy knowing that you can trust him and that he will get the job done. read more

Jimmy was extremely helpful and made the process of shipping our car from Los Angeles to Seattle extremely seamless. Moving in itself is stressful, so the fact that they were able to help with the car transport made it very helpful. I'll definitely use them again for our future moves and will recommend to anyone that needs car transport. They were transparent with pricing from the very beginning. If you need car transport, please use TOTAL CARE TRANS! You won't be disappointed and they'll make sure the process is seamless. Thank you again!! read more

Total Care Trans - Covered Car Transport - Vehicle Shipping Near Me

I was very nervous about buying a truck unseen and shipping it from the mainland to Hawaii. I really needed to trust the people involved in the whole process, and I was really lucky to have found Elwood. He was very knowledgeable of the whole process and more importantly, very patient as our plans evolved. We needed our truck delivered to the port in a very short window or we would have to wait an extended period of time until the next ship left for Hawaii. Our window became shorter when the car dealership messed up the paperwork. Elwood was flexible and understanding with us and found a way to get our truck picked up and to the port just in time. He operated like a friend or family member trying to help out, and even showed us ways we could save money along the way. Thank you for all over your help. read more

An unpleasant experience from the beginning with lots of unnecessary hassle and added stress. I had my car shipped from Oregon to Florida. This is a 3000 mile shipment so I shopped around to get quotes a month in advance of my car shipment. I received quite a few, but Elwood reached out with a clear winner in terms of price and a detailed quote. I agreed and sent him my info for the shipment, and Elwood said he'd begin working on it and keep me posted. After this initial encounter weeks passed by before I emailed him as I had not heard a word from him. He reassured me saying that we were still two weeks out from shipment. Weeks passed by again and there had been no effort from Elwood to keep me updated. I got no updates, no reassurance, and instead my calls, voicemail, and emails went unanswered. Elwood finally reached out to me A DAY before shipment and informed me that the price had gone up, but he had secured me a shipment with the pickup date and delivery date I asked for. In the moment I was just relieved to have a car shipment lined up; fast forward to me in Florida I called the shipping company and they informed me that Elwood had negotiated a delivery time estimated 7-10 days later than we agreed upon, but had messaged me as if I had the original delivery time still. I tried to reach out to clear up this mistake, but as you can imagine old habits die hard - no answer. He seems like a nice guy, but is unprofessional, unreliable, and probably not someone you'd want to trust in charge of shipping your car. Just don't make the same mistake I did, spend a little bit more money to go with a reputable company that will give you peace of mind. Moving is already a busy and stressful time, you don't need this mess on top of it. Two stars because I will receive my car eventually, just a headache and a week of no transportation. read more

I had my car transported to St. Paul, MN from Overland Park, KS. My car arrived the next day after placing my order. I was given a quote and did not pay more than that. My car was transported quickly, and professionally but most importantly I was able to contact Jimmy, and the transport driver throughout my experience. It is difficult to find companies with integrity in this industry but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here! Thank you, again! read more

The quality of auto transport service I received from Jimmy was exceptional! He was recommend by my realtor and when I called, Jimmy answered the phone personally rather than some "representative" in another country. Jimmy briefly explained how the transport would be arranged and gave me a competitive estimate regarding cost and pick up and delivery times. The actual cost was a little less than his estimate. My Toyota Highlander was picked up on time and delivered a day earlier than estimated, in perfect condition. I appreciated Jimmy's honesty, integrity and personal involvement in making arrangements for my car transport across three States. I am so grateful! read more

1987 BMW transport in California. I found Total Care Trans on Yelp, so glad to be able to leave a 5 star review. Jimmy helped me schedule a carrier to move my vehicle a few hundred miles. His quote was competitive but his customer service gained my business. My schedule was a little messy and he worked to make sure the carrier and receiving location were all on the same page. Good communication through email, text and calls. Easy to make payment too. read more

This is the fourth car I've transported across the country. It was the first time I've used TOTALCAREtrans, and the first time everything went absolutely as planned. Elwood was fantastic in his communications, speed, honesty, and integrity. Transporting vehicles is a tricky business, and I strongly suggest reading the YELP reviews and not trusting any online reviews at a vehicle transport website. You will be bombarded with great offers, calls, and deals that get more expensive before your car ends up on a truck. Elwood carried the deal out exactly as stated, the prices were fair, and there were no last-minute changes. I phoned him, received a price, and two days later my Jaguar XKR was on a truck going from Delaware to Washington State. The driver called me the evening before arriving, set a time, and arrived on time. He was friendly and obviously took pride in safely transporting vehicles. To make unloading easy, we met at a nearby truck stop. The vehicle was in perfect condition and I drove it home. Exactly the way it should be. I highly recommend this company, and I will only use these guys in the future. read more

Transported a Toyota Prius from Beaverton Oregon to Santa Monica California. Elwood was quick to respond, helpful and very patient as we had a delay with the dealer. He wasn't pushy at all. He checked in when necessary and communicated on every call/text. He promised delivery would be Friday between 9am - 10am and sure enough driver pulled up right at 9:35 am. Elwood helped me transport my Porsche Cayman S by enclosed carrier from the dealership in Oklahoma City to my home in Portland, OR. Highly recommended for car transport needs! I had two other vendors who were booked out for the rest of this year and one actually recommended me to TOTALCAREtrans--best recommendation I've had. When I reached out, Jimmy responded promptly and communicated, followed-up, and when it was time to finally move the car, he found a carrier for me who was able to pick it up the same day. I'm pretty sure this is unheard of--so much so that we were both surprised at how quickly my car was moved from Portland to Sacramento, within 24 hours. Thanks so much Jimmy! read more

Everything went like a breeze, once a spot in the schedule could be found for my big 1950's car. A last-minute change in when the seller would be available to release the car was easily accommodated, and loading proceeded without a hitch. Car arrived the next day damage-free. Quick, efficient, and treated my car with care. Can't ask for much more than that! read more

Right now I am concerned if my car will show up - Elwood was very responsive and competitive to start but the transporter cancelled and I had to find out by calling him myself. After numerous attempts to get a hold of Elwood, he assured me he had another driver who would still make the scheduled pick up and delivery. He said he would send the drivers info but never did. Over a holiday weekend I can understand some delay but the non-communication of my car being picked up - it's like it's in limbo somewhere -The car was picked up at a maintenance shop and I have no proof of pick up or delivery - that was three days ago. I have left messages and VM's for Elwood who said he'd be back today. I will be happy to improve this review if I find improvement.... Update: car actually arrived on time and in good condition. Pre-function communication could've been better. read more

These guys left me completely stranded. They took my $200 deposit and connected me with a shady shipping service. Long story but my car was never shipped. Total Care would not return my calls over the weekend. I finally retrieved my car and asked for a refund of my $200 which they never honored. I had to file a claim with my insurance company. I ended up driving my car across the county as they significanlty ruined our trip. Bottom line find another shipping broker! read more

I wish I had a better review for Elwood. He was very pleasant to work with, and pricing was very reasonable, but unfortunately my car shipping experience did not go as smoothly as I had hoped.
