I had three companies cancel on me last minute for what I suspect were BS reasons. When I finally called Kathy, she discovered that one of the companies I originally chose was trying to undersell my order, which likely led to my bid being ignored and the cancellation. Kathy found me a truck the same day I called. I-5 Transport picked up my car in Portland, OR, and delivered it to San Diego, CA, in just two days, which was great! The trucking company itself wasn't the best at communicating changes during transport, but that was out of Kathy's control. The price was right for my car's relocation. I called @ least a month in advance to make the arrangements. I gave Kathy a specific day I needed my Nissan Kicks to be picked up. I made it a point to call after 2 weeks to confirm, because my moving plan was so tight....I had no room for changes.. The downside was Kathy's company is a clearinghouse so to speak with connections to many vehicles transporters...because of the Pandemic only a few transporters were going in the direction I needed. Kathy finally found someone..warning me it would be a $50.00 increase..by then I couldn't quibble..the driver ended up picking my car up@ 6:00a.m the day after I requested. Finally able to write a review after being very busy with work and the move. Overall, my car made it safely and that's s what I'm most happy about. I didn't have the best experience and when my car arrived it had a large grease/oil stain (not sure what it was) on the hood of my car that I was able to get out with rubbing alcohol thanks to a tip from my brother! Make sure you discuss everything before driver arrives so there are no additional charges and any stains or spots that weren't on your car before can be easily removed. *HAULCARS transported my vehicle and it was returned with an oil stain on my hood it was only booked through Auto Relocation. read more

The pros: relatively easy to deal with and not expensive. The cons: car was delivered a day after the point that they called to say it would be delivered- Saturday instead of Friday since they're closed on Friday - no communication about delay until driver called me late Saturday afternoon. Car was delivered in the evening and driver was in a hurry so I missed some damage to the car because it was dark and didn't take time to do a thorough inspection. When I did notice the damage a week later - it looked like a rail hit the rear roof of the car causing a small dent and cracks to the rear brake light above the window. I sent a note to Kathy when they sent the 'your car has been delivered notice', about two weeks after that, but she replied that, since I didn't note it when it was delivered, she couldn't do anything about it, plus she didn't see how that could be caused by the delivery. Really? That kind of damage could only be caused by a heavy rectangular rail hitting the rear roof of the car from above...hmmm, like a trailer rail on an auto delivery truck striking one of the lower cars...but you can't imagine that? Sure didn't happen from a coconut falling on it in Florida... Should have used a more reputable, more expensive service like we did for my other car, where they guarantee the damage free delivery, even if you don't discover it until later. Did get an answer back saying it's the carrier's responsibility, not the broker's and that they'd send me the number...but since I waited so long it will probably not be taken care of. Just be warned if you use them...do a super duper inspection before and after (with pix preferably) and don't let the drop-off driver rush you. read more

I recently had my 33 year old Mazda Miata shipped from California to Idaho and could not believe the great price and how easy they made this all happen. Kathy was beyond helpful, answered all my questions and within 3 days my car was picked up and on its way home. The battery was dead when the driver arrived to get the car so he had to charge it, and did so with no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend them and would use them again. read more

The experience depends on who your shipper is. We had 6 cars to ship. Ours were delivered 4 days after promised date of delivery, driver would not answer calls. Just kept hearing tomorrow day after day from the shipper. Driver finally called to set delivery for Friday at noon. We get a text, nope tomorrow. Tomorrow when? No response. We were told after 4 days late on shipment that the driver was in the hospital 2 states away. He called us minutes later and delivered the cars 1 hour after and didn't know what we were talking about. Mid way through shipment they wanted payment by Zelle. No, we had a cashiers check as directed. They wanted a picture of the check which our bank advised not to. Whole experience felt like we were being scammed. I realize that Kathy has to work with who takes the load. She did respond when we reached out to her, but I was pretty upset with her attitude when we didn't want to give a copy of the cashiers check and explained of potential scams. No updates provided by her either. I would really think twice about using this company. We really questioned if we were going to ever see our cars again. Just unbelievable and wouldn't want ANYONE to go through the turmoil we did. read more

Submitted a quote at uship and got a ton of enquiries from auto transport brokers, but after reading the reviews over the internet, it got really stressful. I came across Kathy and requested for a quote on a Sunday, she right away responded. I called her and the experience was totally opposite of all the ones I have spoken so far. She was not pushy and explained the process with certain things that the other brokers blindly promised. Once I arranged with Kathy, had some issues with my seller and I was going to do a prepurchase inspection. I first shipped a car from Portland, OR to Birmingham, AL and have since had it shipped back to Portland.
