We attempted to move our vehicle the following month and they completely ignored us and would not communicate with us. This is not how business is done. We found two other reputable companies that were able to get the job done for us. This company is the worst and does not deserve anyones business!

I'm not impressed with Jeff's communication. All correspondence is incredibly short with little to no detail. If you work with this company, deal with Ellen. She's polite and takes the time to answer your questions. I paid everything up front to 4 Corners and ran into 2 frustrating issues. 1) When I arrived at the port to hand off my vehicle to Matson I was informed that the ship it was scheduled for was actually pulled out of service and that my vehicle wouldn't leave the island until nearly 2.5 weeks later. Had I known this, I could have kept the vehicle for that period and saved myself the rental costs. When I spoke with 4 Corners and asked about it, they made it appear that the news was hot off the press and that they didn't have time to notify me. 2) When I went to the cage to get my receipt squared away, I was informed 4 Corners had not yet paid for my vehicle to ship. I called 4 Corners with no immediate answer, and ended up paying Matson direct in order to finalize the process. 4 Corners did call me back shortly later and refunded that portion of what I originally paid them. The trucking company 4 Corners used did arrive 1 day earlier than they originally told me and were willing to meet me in a location separate from what was originally scheduled due to their early arrival, however, they ended up damaging a car while taking it off the semi in order to pull my vehicle off the truck. They didn't unhook a chain and tried to drive a Mustang off the truck, causing the chain to lodge into the frame of the car. I stood and watched them use a crowbar to dislodge the chain for an hour before they were able to get it loose..at one point they asked my dad and I if we had any ideas as to how to get it loose. I would suggest not using Scott Auto Transport in the future.

American Auto Shipping - American Auto Shippers made it happen for us!

We shipped my car from Portland, OR to San Diego, CA (about 1,000 miles). Initially, we paid for an enclosed carrier at a premium price. My car wasn't picked up within five days of the available date because there weren't any enclosed carriers on the path. After calling customer service (just keep calling until you get someone on the line... I never received a call back when calling from my husband's phone and leaving his number), we switched the carrier to open and it was picked up four days later. We did end up having to leave the car with a friend and still paid the enclosed price, but there was no haggling which was good. The company we were matched with reached out to us before we got a connection message through AAS. I recommend confirming with your shipper that they are working with your carrier before giving them any information just to decrease your chances of being put into a poor position. After confirming that our shipper was working with AAS, we got the connection email from AAS and everything went decently smooth after this. The shipper dispatcher was pretty disorganized but with a few extra days they got the job done. I also recommend putting your initial pick-up date as soon as possible and anticipating a late pick up. I don't know where they get this "93% of cars get picked up on time," but I am highly skeptical. Overall, my car was delivered within a week of the original delivery date and was in great shape. I think that there was supposed to be a car wash, (my car arrived very dirty) but this is not a big deal. I'm happy that my car was delivered without any damage. I didn't ship anything inside of the car and I would not recommend doing so. The person who actually delivered the car was really nice and careful with the car!

I was shipping my beloved car (which means everything to me!), so I decided to go with an enclosed car transport option. It was TOTALLY worth it and the driver was very professional. He was courteous and respectful, driving a beautiful enclosed trailer that would make the delivery and post-delivery inspection process very quick and efficient. My baby (the car) arrived with no damages and even earlier than expected. Wow! I wish I would have found this service sooner. The only issue I had with the company was finding a place to drop the car off. It was a block away (overall, not a big deal) because the driver said the street I was parked on was too narrow to enter/make turns in. This is understandable. Apart from that, everything was perfectly handled!

I called Portland Car Transport believing they were in Portland because I wanted a local company to do the pickup. It turns out that it was a call center which played into the unpleasant experience. The agents were rude. I had to call back several times over three days for them to finally send me a quote. By the time they got it to us we had to make other arrangements. I was told that they were real busy. Oh well.
