The best place in Berkeley to get your smoking needs, they'll work with you and get you a great deal

Don't be put off if the guys are pushy as a mother, it's fortune in disguise; it means it's a slow day and they're hard up for a sale. They usually have a great selection of hookahs. Glass hookahs, I mean, not traditional shisha hookahs, which are hard to find. read more

Lovely store. The guy in there is super duper nice! He gave me two pipe for 20$ and he threw it on the ground to test it and it didn't break. Omg! Love this place! I highly recommend this place to everyone. He also explain everything and tell you what is good and what's not. read more

The guys who own this place are good people, and they are certainly willing to work with you if you know how to haggle a little. Very nice little store. Nice little mom and pop operation with very friendly customer service, compared to Big Al's next door, where I feel like I'm being swarmed by used car salesmen. Prices are extremely fair. I like this place a lot. read more

Lame shop. Employees aren't very knowledgable. No good brands.

I got a rig, torch, pick, and butane for a Great deal. Thank you K-C, great salesman, he knows what you need.

I gotta agree with that chick below me. MANNNNNN. like, she's right! I walk in. for a dare :] and look at the lighters. and that man just offers to sell it to me. Which IS PRETTY DAMN COOL. the ligther is hella raw. and i'm glad i bought that shit. :] So like, the lighter is silver-ish. grey-ish. (it's all shiny) then when you open the lighter, the shit lights up with a glowing dolphin in front. beautiful, i gotta say. then with one CLICK, it just lights up! so like, yeah, that was coo. we were like, oh yeah, that was coo. then my friend wanted to see it, so she like, CLICKED, and she held onto the flame. and you know what happened? it TURNED GREEN. and sure sure, you people who are readin this are probably like, "DUDE. those are so old" blah blah blah. "You are so inexperienced" well, you know what?! i still think it's cool. :] and it was at a fairly good price too. Okay. so then after i bought that lighter, i went in DEEPER to the store. and guess what i found? PIPES. pretty ones too! like, colorful, rainbow, shiny, fuckin PIPES. for what? :] you already know. ANYWAY. the second man beind the pipes were like, "hey. are you interested?" and we were like, WHOA. and then he was like, "heyyy.. how old ARE you guys? are you guys over 18?" and we were like, "... uhhh ... " and we just ran out. :] cuhs we're smart like that. don't hate. WELL. i'd gotta give this store a 5/5. becuhs everythin in here is koo. koo. :] read more

One shopping day I came in to this store just to look around, and people in there approached me nicely. So after few months, I thought of getting my husband a bong for Christmas and I thought of that place. So I went back there excitedly. There's new people around, but they're all friendly. I honestly don't know anything about smoking and I told them that, but they didn't took advantage of it. This one guy that helped me, recommended a double chamber bong and explained briefly how it works. I loved it! They gave me half of the price that bong was posted for, so I totally went for it. Took it home excitedly and wrapped it up. When my husband got it, he was so happy. At first, i actually worried about maybe it won't work good because I got it for so cheap. But then, my husband even loved how it worked. He's totally happy and that makes me happy too. I totally recommend this place, transaction was very easy, no hard time at all and the people that works there really knows what they're talking about. read more

By far, my favorite head shop ever. Both the new owner and sales dude were helpful, friendly, and entertaining. You can definitely get a good deal in here. The guy chucked in a free grinder and a free pipe when I purchased a PAX. They were a bit pushy with sales but that means you know you can get a good deal. The only thing was the sharpstone grinder he chucked in for free was fake. I didn't go in there for that so it doesn't bother me too much but beware. read more

It was my boyfriends birthday (7/1) we were just enjoying the day on a highventure, walking around, doing a little shopping when we went into Hi-Times after leaving another smoke shop just a few stores down. I went in with what I had in mind and Dal helped me a lot and gave me a good deal. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

I really like this place. The people are really friendly and will work with your price range. I broke a pipe last night that I really loved that I purchased from here months ago, and I came in with a horrible description and Dal, the man working the counter, grabbed exactly what I was referring to and gave it to me as a discount because I told him I was replacing it! How nice! read more
