This review might be a bit outdated, since I haven't been here in years, but there's definitely good reason for that. First off, their stock and supplies aren't the best you'll find in Telegraph, at least from what I was looking for. They're not bad, but you can easily find better in another one of the head shops on the street. Second, and more importantly, don't go in unless you're hellbent on buying something. The staff aren't familiar with people just there to browse, really. When I went in there to look for a blacklight bulb, they practically wouldn't let me leave until I purchased the one they had in stock. The lightbulb itself wasn't too much to write home about. It was pretty much one you could easily find in any store. And I ended up finding a better one in one of the other head shops later on. If left to me, I wouldn't have even bought the first one, if it wasn't for the staff pushing it on me. So yeah, out of all the head shops on Telegraph, this is by far the weakest. Their pipes and accessories are pretty much ones you could find literally anywhere else, and there was nothing really that stood out. Save your money and go to Big Al's Smoke Shop next door. You won't regret it. read more

Whatever you do, do NOT go to this store. They put a price on something that is worth a fraction of what they're asking for and then they pretend to haggle with you and give you a discount to make you think that you're getting a good deal, and in reality they're ripping you off. I am from San Jose & drove up to Berkeley to eat at (house of curries) afterwards I took a stroll and this shop caught my eye. I'm a hookah fanatic so I was impressed with their vast and unique hookah sets. I got a new Sahara hookah set and the owner hooked it up!! I posted a pic of my black hookah set with snake skin detailing. It also camwle with a pimped out hose covered in velvet. owner through in a sweet metal case with compartments & foam cushion, tobacco, coals, tongs. Probably would normally cost $175 and up!! Only paid $100. Was so happy with the set & service. Landon they salesperson was cool so we tipped him. "You are so inexperienced" well, you know what?! i still think it's cool. :] and it was at a fairly good price too. Okay. so then after i bought that lighter, i went in DEEPER to the store. and guess what i found? PIPES. pretty ones too! like, colorful, rainbow, shiny, fuckin PIPES. for what? :] you already know. Great selection, service, and price. There's another smoke shop right next door and several within a few blocks, so it's easy to compare smoke shops in Berkeley. The owner hooked me up with a great deal on a vaporizer and threw in a grinder for free. Would definitely recommend and will go again. read more

One shopping day I came in to this store just to look around, and people in there approached me nicely. So after few months, I thought of getting my husband a bong for Christmas and I thought of that place. So I went back there excitedly. There's new people around, but they're all friendly. I honestly don't know anything about smoking and I told them that, but they didn't took advantage of it. This one guy that helped me, recommended a double chamber bong and explained briefly how it works. I loved it! They gave me half of the price that bong was posted for, so I totally went for it. Took it home excitedly and wrapped it up. When my husband got it, he was so happy. At first, i actually worried about maybe it won't work good because I got it for so cheap. But then, my husband even loved how it worked. He's totally happy and that makes me happy too. You can definitely get a good deal in here. The guy chucked in a free grinder and a free pipe when I purchased a PAX. They were a bit pushy with sales but that means you know you can get a good deal. The only thing was the sharpstone grinder he chucked in for free was fake. I didn't go in there for that so it doesn't bother me too much but beware. read more
